Yo, what's up, everyone? I know I know, seemed like I abandoned this story, huh? Well, you wouldn't be wrong. I did kind of lose interest for a while. Had a lot going on in my life, and with Shattering Lies taking up most of my time and passion, my other stories, especially this one, were put on the back burner.

I'm especially disappointed in myself because this was my first story and I just left it, but no more. I will work on this story, and I will update it from time to time. I can't promise that this story will receive updates as fast as Shattering Lies, but I will be updating it, starting with this small update.

So, with all that said, enjoy.

The world was shocked. That would be the word Naruto would describe the situation currently. His little escalation had caused quite an uproar within the media and across the world. Here he was, the Fox, a vigilante that fought for justice, confronting injustice wherever it may arise.

"Now you've done it brat. Hahaha. Those sups' in their underwear are really going to be after you now, along with that company they are employed with." Kurama laughed in his head while Naruto shrugged his shoulders.

"Not like I care. They can try all they want, but they can't beat me." Naruto said casually as he laid back on his couch. He, for once, was having a relaxing day. After the stunt he pulled, Vought was out in full force, having its sups' portal all of the cities it had a presence in to keep crime low.

"They just want to fix their image, and their profits," Kurama added to which Naruto nodded. Vought's share price had tumbled drastically, they had been made a laughingstock all around the world, when Fox not only infiltrated their meeting unannounced but also had the audacity to claim that he didn't need them. He had in effect taken their offer and thrown it back in their faces.

"That's why I don't care about Vought. Their interests only revolve around making profits. They see everything as a product, a tool. Like Danzo, but worse." Naruto grumbled as he yawned. With the sup's out in full force, and his threat made clear, a lot of would-be criminals were keeping low for the day. It was a rare day of peace and quiet that he enjoyed. It would have been if his doorbell didn't ring.

"In the name of the Six Paths, who the hell…" Naruto started before he blinked. Oh, she was already here. Standing up, he walked over to the door before he opened it, already knowing who was behind the door. Opening it he wasn't surprised to find Starlight, otherwise known as Anni January, standing before him in a jacket with a hoodie and large sunglasses. He sweat dropped at her outfit.

"Why do you look like a stalker?" He commented to which she rolled her eyes and walked in without saying anything. As she did, she took in the small apartment. There was nothing special about it.

"So, this is it?" She questioned him as she turned around, causing him to raise an eyebrow as he looked around.

"What? It's clean, isn't it?" He questioned her to which she frowned.

"I thought the instructions would lead me to some super-secret layer, not to your apartment." She stated. Naruto blinked at that before he started to laugh.

"O-Oh, my sides! Ahaha! Y-You thought I had some kind of secret layer?" Naruto laughed as he brought one of his hands up to his head and the other around his stomach, laughing at her statement. Needless to say, Anni was not happy.

"This isn't a joke you know. I left the Seven for this." She spoke, frustrated that he wasn't taking this seriously. Naruto calmed himself before he sighed.

"Don't worry, Anni, I may not have a secret layer, but you don't need one to stop crime. Think about it this who, who would believe that the mysterious Fox is just some guy living in a small apartment in the city?" He questioned her. Anni opened her mouth before she closed it.

"That…does make sense…" She admitted. Apparently, there was a method to his madness. Naruto then looked up and down at her before he shook his head.

"I apricate that you took the time to be discreet at meeting me, but you didn't need to." Naruto pointed out. This time it was her turn to raise an eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" She questioned him as Naruto pulled out a scroll, the same kind he gave to her.

"The scroll I gave you has multiple layers of seals placed on it, like this one. It makes it and its holder untraceable, both visually, and the various other methods of surveillance. When you walk by people, all they see is some random person." Naruto explained proudly. In his opinion, the seals he used on the scroll were one of his favorite creations.

"W-Why?! Is that your power?" She questioned him. Naruto simply chuckled before he raised a finger.

"That's ONE of my powers! After all, how else do you think even Homelander can't track me with his average eyes?" Naruto answered/questioned her causing her eyes to widen at that.

"Did you just call Homelander's eyes average?" She questioned him in astonishment. Homelander, the man who could shoot fucking laser beams from his eyes! Who could see through virtually anything, and had insane vision and tracking capabilities? He had just called the man's eyes average!

"Well, average by my standards. You know the number of idiots I have faced that had eyes more powerful than Homelander's? And I've beaten pretty much all of them." Naruto said offhandedly. Hyuga's, Uchiha's, and whatever the fuck Kaguya was, he'd proven them all wrong.

"And what is your standard?" She questioned him, genuinely wondering what exactly his standard was if Homelander was average. Naruto hummed as he walked over to his couch and jumped in and grabbed a remote and flipped through the channels.

"Let's see, know anyone that can use their eye to trap someone in an infinite loop of an illusion where you are god?" Naruto questioned her as she gave him a blank face.

"Ok, you're making that one up." She pointed out to which he shrugged.

"Maybe I am, maybe I am not," Naruto answered. Anni sighed at that. Getting a straight answer from him was impossible.

"So, what's on the agenda?" She questioned him as she pulled her hood down and took off her sunglasses, relaxing at the fact that she wasn't trackable by Vought or any sups'. Naruto leaned his head back over the sofa.

"Hey, you took your hoodie off! Nice! I think you look rather pretty when you don't hide your hair." Naruto complimented her with his cheeky grin causing Anni to blush and look away, anywhere but his blue eyes.

"Baka, even after all these years you're still dense as a rock," Kurama said with a sigh causing Naruto to frown.

"Hey! What's that supposed to mean." Naruto shouted mentally, offended by Kurama's comment. Kurama just huffed.

"I don't know, you figure out, your blond baka! Just like your father, dense as a brick." Kurama shot back. When it came to matters of the heart and romance, the blond was just as dense as his father was. Hell, it practically took Kushina beating the shit out of Minato for him to realize that she liked him! Of course, he wasn't going to tell that to the blond, he was going to let them figure things out on his own.

"Hey! You take that back!" Naruto shouted mentally but got no response. He huffed as he focused back on the matter at hand.

"Well, the first thing we need to do is to put the seals on that scroll, on you," Naruto said as he summoned a brush and ink in his hands. Anni blinked at him in confusion.

"W-Wait, what?! You want to ink me up with some seals?!" She shouted at him as he cringed at her volume.

"Easy now. I have to same seals on me, look!" Naruto reassured her as he took off his shirt, not carrying that she could see everything.

"Oh my god…. look at all those muscles and…is that a scar? Wait, are those…are those the seals he's talking about." Her thoughts went from how hot he looked, to horrified at the various scars on his body to the various different types of writings, Japanese from the looks of it, and drawings in intricate patterns drawn all over his body.

"Don't worry, you won't be getting so many seals. A lot of these actually serve different functions, like storage, etc." Naruto pointed out. He had a lot of seals on his body, but the most curious thing was that they slowly faded until they weren't visible.

"H-How do you do that?" She questioned him as Naruto chuckled before he walked over to her and leaned down next to her ear.

"That's a secret!" He answered with a laugh as she rolled her eyes. Of course, what else did she expect?

"Anyways, where do you want the seal? The best place is usually the back, so it's not visible ya know?" Naruto advised, his mother's verbal tic finally pushing through, much to his embarrassment.

"M-My back!? D-Does that mean I have to take off my shirt?" Shuttered out, not believing what she was hearing. Naruto nodded casually like it didn't really matter.

"As I said, it's better to have it on your back or in some place where people can't see it in public," Naruto responded, not seeing the problem here, but Anni crossed her arms under her chest, slightly pushing her breast up.

"I am not going to get naked here." She said firmly causing Naruto to almost trip.

"B-Baka! I'm not a pervert! And I'm not asking you to get naked! Just lift up the back part of your shirt!" Naruto shouted at her, now sporting a blush of his own.

"That doesn't make it any better!" She shouted back, blushing as well.

"Listen, do you want to seal or not?" Naruto questioned her flatly as he recomposed himself. Anni stopped and she pondered about that. On one hand, this seal would make her virtually undetectable, to Vaught, to the Sups, to everyone but him she reasoned.

"Will I be able to turn it off and on?" She questioned him while Naruto nodded.

"Normally, seals require Chakra, I'll explain what that is at a later date, but this seal has enough Chakra to last a lifetime. I'll add another seal that will allow you to mentally turn it on and off at will." Naruto answered. The truth was he had to create a seal that allowed someone without Chakra to turn seals off and on.

"Fine." Anni huffed as she turned around and lifted the back part of her shift up, blushing all the same. Naruto nodded as he dipped the brush into the ink, but before he started, he apricated her smooth white skin.

"I see that you take care of yourself," Naruto commented as Anni blinked.

"What do you me – ep!" She jumped slightly as she felt the brush contact her skin, the cold ink dancing around her back, drawing an intricate pattern. What surprised her was how smooth the flow of the brush was with no break in it. She didn't know how much time had passed; she had lost track of it.

"Seal." She heard him mutter as she slightly moaned at the odd sensation on her back. It was warm, but it quickly faded. She thought that was it and lowered her shirt as she turned around to face him, looking at his shocked face.

"What?" She questioned him while Naruto blinked at her.

"Did you just, moan when the seal was being applied?" Naruto questioned her, completely shocked by that development. Anni blushed as she shook her head.

"N-No I did not! You must be hearing things!" She argued causing him to slowly nod before he shrugged as he sealed the brush and ink away.

"Anyways, the agenda today coming up with a team name! After that, we go on out and fight crime!" Naruto proclaimed as Anni nodded. Seemed reasonable enough.

"So, what have you got?" She questioned him while Naruto gave her a cheeky grin.

"I have absolutely no idea!" Naruto answered as he laughed causing her to roll her eyes and sigh. So, this was the venerated vigilante Fox, the man who can beat Homelander and, according to himself, can beat any sup that Vought can through at him. Turns out, he's just an aloof guy with a lot of mysteries surrounding him.

And that's it for now. I know it was short, and a lot of it was just the interactions between Anni and Naruto, but I feel like before they go out and fight, they need to understand the other, beyond just Fox and Starlight. Next chapter we will see The Boys and their first interaction with Naruto and Starlight! Stay tuned!
