It's the first day of school and I am freaking out. What do I wear? I hope everyone leaves me alone this year. I just want one good year of high school. I graduate this year and I am done with high school. I am so happy but scared. I know me and Austin will have to talk about it soon but I don't want to. We are back to being friends and it is like the old times. He left last night after putting Aubrey to bed and he is picking her up from day care to spend the night with her.

"Ooo, this outfit is perfect." I grab my skinny jeans with rips in them and grab a blue tank top that has flowers embedded in it in the front. "Now a jacket?" I see my white jean jacket that is strangely really comfortable and throw it on. I slip on my sandals with a flower going over the top of my foot and look at myself in the mirror. I think I look pretty. I have my hair curled and have blue eye shadow to match my shirt and black eyeliner to make my eyes pop. My mascara is light and makes my eyes look bigger than they are. I am putting on my vanilla body spray when I hear my phone go off. I grab my vanilla lip gloss and put it on and put it in my pocket while I walk out of the closet and grab my phone.

Opening it I see a picture of my dad with a dog he just bought. The dog is so cute. It has a pink bow on and she is a big puff ball. She is white and brown and has these big bug eyes. I want to run over and see it now but I have to get Aubrey ready for daycare.

Walking back into my closet I grab my white purse and grab my aviator sunglasses. I put them on the top of my head and walk into Aubrey's room. "Hey baby girl." I see she is up and looking around. "Momma." Picking her up and putting her on my hip I kiss her head. "Hi beautiful. Let's get you ready." I walk set her down and walk over to her closet and bring out a cute pair of jeans and pink top. I walk over and change her diaper and but her clothes on her. I decide she would look even prettier with a bow in her hair so I grab her flower head band and put it on her head. "Oh baby, you look so cute." She smiles and I pick her up carrying her downstairs. I have my purse on my wrist and her diaper bag on my shoulder and her on my hip. I grab my keys and walk outside putting her in the car. Getting in myself I start the car and head off to Aubrey's day care.

We pull up and I see Austin waiting at his car leaning on the hood. I smile and turn behind me to Aubrey. "My big girl ready?" She smiles, "Yeah." I laugh, she doesn't know a lot of words but she is so cute. She knows yeah, no, momma, dadda, and dog. Getting out I get her bag and put it on my shoulder and get her out putting her on my hip. Locking my car we make our way toward Austin. She sees him first and yells, "Dadda." Reaching her arms out for him, I laugh and see Austin turn towards us and smile. As soon as we reach him he takes her from me and kisses her, "Hey baby girl. How are you?" She looks around and looks at me. "She is great." He laughs and we walk into the school.

The teacher meets us there and smiles. "Hi, I am their teacher Mrs. Abby Russo, but just call me Mrs. Abby." We laugh, "Hi, I am Ally and this is Austin we are the parents." She nods and turns toward Aubrey, "Who is this little angel?" I smiles, "This is Aubrey Faith Moon." The teacher smiles and puts her hand out and grabs Aubrey's making it like a handshake. "We are gonna have so much fun." We are shown around and then we come to her cubby and I put her bag there. Austin hands the teacher Aubrey and we both kiss her, "Daddy will be picking you up today. Mommy loves you sweetie, be good."

We walk out together and Austin follows me to the car, "She will be okay. I wish one of our parents could have did it but they couldn't." I nod, "I know, I just… I'm not use to this." He laughs and pulls me in for a hug. "It will be okay. I promise. We need to get going so we aren't late." I nod and get in my car and head to school.

After a quick stop at Starbucks I make it to school and grab my schedule and find my locker. I see that I am by Trish, Dez, Austin, a few of the football team guys, a few of the cheerleaders, and some empty lockers. I smile in relief when I see that the closest people to my locker are Austin to my left and Then Trish then Dez. To my right I have an empty one and then Alex and then a girl who is shy but nice I think her name is Daisy.

Opening my locker I set my backpack in it just grabbing out a pen and paper. I close my locker and see them all staring at me, "What?" "You are not going all smarty pants today?" I laugh, "Trish, I just want to relax. I am not carrying everything." She gives me a big hug, "Yes, finally I wore off on you." Alex walks over hugging me, "You look great today." I smile then Dez walks over and hugs me, "Mommy, where is baby?" we all start laughing, "Dez, it's Ally and she is at school too." He nods and then Austin walks over and hugs me. Whispering in my ear, "I meant to tell you earlier, you look amazing." I pull back, "Thanks. Now let's get to class."

We all stop and stare at our schedules first. "I'll go first… okay, I have Psychology, Chemistry, Math, Music, Lunch, Government, Gym, and lastly English."
Trish goes next, "I have Philosophy, Theater, Biology, Math, Lunch, Government, Gym, and then English."
Dez goes next, "I have Theater, Math, Philosophy, Chemistry, Lunch, Government, Gym, and I end with English."
Alex goes next, "I start with Psychology, Biology, Math, Anatomy, Lunch, Government, Gym, and end with English. "
Austin goes next, "I got Psychology, Chemistry, Theater, Music, Lunch, Government, Gym, and then English."

I laugh," We all have Lunch, Government, Gym and English together." They laugh too and we separate to go to our classes.

I walk with Alex and Austin into the psychology room and Austin sits in front of me and Alex sits to my right. The teacher walks up to me. "Ally, hi again. Hope your summer was good. Anyway I have a new student coming and I just checked you are the only one with all of the same classes as him. Would you care to help him around?" I shake my head, "Not at all Mrs. Ross." She smiles and walks to her desk while the phone rings. After a couple seconds she smiles and hangs up. "Ally?" I walk up to her desk and she smiles, "Change of plans. Umm he is in the office. Can you go help him?" I nod and smile, "Here is a pass. I will print the notes for you."

Walking into the office I see this dirty blonde boy standing at the desk looking nervous. He looks so hot. He is muscular from what I can see but not too much. He has Blue eyes and lips that I want to kiss immediately. Walking up to him I smile, "Hi, I'm Ally. I am here to help you." He smiles and looks me over and smirks. "Well hello, I am Jessie." We shake hands and I smile big, "Are you ready to go?" he grabs his bag and we start for his locker. "Can I have your number?" he looks down and laugh, "613." I laugh and stop. "You are my locker neighbor."

We walk to my locker and he opens his while I reapply my lip gloss while looking in my mirror. He closes his locker and clears his throat. Blushing I close my locker and turn, "Well we have all the same classes together so let's go to our first one." He nods and follows me back to Mrs. Ross's room. We walk in and he sits right behind me as we try to focus on what she is saying. "Okay enough notes. Let's learn about each other. I have note cards and I want you to right your name on it. Two things about you and something you did this year."

Ten minutes later the class has all went but Me, Alex, Jessie, and Austin. "Austin, you're up, Then Alex, Ally, and we will end with your sir." We all smile and Austin stands up, "Sup' name is Austin. I am a pop star. I have a daughter who I adore. And this summer I just hung out with my friends and baby girl." I smile because he mentioned Aubrey.

"Hi, I'm Alex. I am on the football team. I love to hang at the beach. And this summer I hung out with my friend at her new house." I smile again because I was mentioned.

Standing up I smile, "Hello, I am Ally. I umm have a daughter. I like school. And this summer I took care of my baby, and had fun with my friends." I sit back down blushing. I feel eyes on me. But Austin turns around and smiles "Don't worry." I nod and turn to Jessie who stood up.

"Hey, I'm new here. Today is my first day. I'm Jessie." He smiles a big smile while the teacher welcomes him. "Let's see. I like to sing and dance. I am also on the football team. And this summer I dropped everything in California and moved here." He sits down and smiles.

The teacher goes on with class and I feel breath on my neck. Turning around I see Jessie leaning into my chair. "I just wanted to say thanks. " I nod and turn back as the bell rings. I walk up to wait at the door and Austin smiles and mouths "See ya there." I nod and the teacher walks over and hands me two sets of the notes. Finally Jessie makes it to me and smiles. I hand him the notes and we walk to our lockers to drop off our book for the class and the papers. As I close my locker I see him staring at me. "I think it is cool you are a mom. I don't understand why people were talking about you when we left. "

Sighing I start to walk to the next class. "It's because I have never been liked. I like school and that is a crime apparently." Nodding he looks over at me, "Well, who cares? You have a kid what does it matter." I laugh and turn towards him, "To them, it means I am a slut because I got pregnant." He laughs, "Well I can tell, you are no slut. You're a sweet girl." I blush as we make it to the class. Walking in I see Austin already has a partner so I go to the back and sit down. Jessie decides to sit with me. "You don't care do you?" I shake my head and listen as the teacher talks. "Hello, I am Mr. Rice. The person you are sitting next to is your partner for the year. So… Get to know each other. All we are doing today is learning about everyone and getting our books."

Jessie turns toward me, "So let's learn about each other." I laugh and smile, "What do you want to know?" He thinks, "How old is your daughter?" I smile and look straight at him, "She is 10 months old." He smiles, "Okay, what is her name?" "It is Aubrey." He smiles, "That is a wonderful name." I smile, "thanks." He laughs, "This is gonna sound when but do you have a picture." I nod, "It's not weird at all." Pulling out my phone I show him the picture I took of her this morning before we left the house. I am holding her and we are both smiling for a selfie. He hands me the phone back with a smile. "You are both beautiful." I blush, "Thanks. What's your favorite color?" "Orange, like the sunset. But I love blue. You?" "I like blue too. What's your favorite food?" "Pizza or pasta. You?" I laugh, "The same. What do you like to sing?" He smiles, "I love to write my own songs. Do you sing or anything?" I smile big, "I write my own songs too and I sing but not really for people. "

All the classes went like this. Me and Jessie talking and figuring out we have a lot in common. We went to lunch and everyone grew to like him. Austin and Alex weren't too happy with how we got along but they got over it. Class is about to end and we are waiting. The bell finally rings and we walk to our lockers.

Grabbing my backpack I turn to Jessie. "Good luck at practice. Alex is a great guy. He's also the quarterback, so if you need anything ask him." He smiles, "Thanks. I am so happy you helped me today. I was so nervous but you helped me so much." I feel Austin tap me, "Hey, I gotta go. Do you want a picture so you know everything is okay?" I nod and smile, "Thank you. I am just so worried." He laughs and hugs me before rushing out of school. Alex is waiting at his locker for Jessie. "What was that about?" I smile, "Nothing really." He looks at me, "Is he your boyfriend or something?" I shake my head, "Look no he isn't but I can't explain now you have to get to practice. Plus we just met. Get to practice. Good luck. I will see you tomorrow."

I am at my car when I feel someone turn me around, "wait," I look up and see Jessie. "What are you doing here? You got practice." He smiles, "I wanted to give you my number." Handing me a piece of paper I smile. "Okay. Here" I grab his phone and put my number in his. "Now go to practice. It is your first day." He laughs and runs off to school while I get in the car and see my phone went off. I look down and see a picture of Aubrey smiling big. Awe my baby girl.

I get home and get in the house and put my purse on the kitchen table with my keys and phone when I see my phone blinking. I open it up and see and unknown number.
Hey, it's Jessie.
Wanted to know if you wanted to grab pizza after practice with me. Not like a date just as friends.

I smile and text back,
Sure I know a great place to go. I will tell you the directions when you are done.

My phone goes off again,
Cool can't wait. Break is over I have to go. Talk to you in a few.

I smile to myself. I actually think I may like this guy a little. When he sang tonight in music class I wanted to start screaming like all the girls do at Austin. I know I am attracted to him but we have so much in common and get along so well. I really think I might like him. I am excited to hang out with me tonight. I go freshen up my makeup.

My phone goes off again, but this time it is a phone call. "Hel…" "Ally, oh my god. I need you now. Aubrey was eating. Everything was going great. Then… Ally come to the hospital."
