Christmas: December 25, 2009 9:18 AM

I woke up in bed at my dad's house with Randy in bed right beside me. No one had come by to get us yet, so I knew we still had time to be in bed for a while. I smile and kiss Randy's cheek while remaining in bed as Randy is still sleeping.

"What time is it?" Randy asks tiredly.

"It's 9:20." I answer. "Good morning."

"Good morning, beautiful." Randy turns to look at me. "Merry Christmas."

I smile. "Merry Christmas."

"So no one has come by to wake us up yet?"

"Nope, I was planning on staying in here until then unless you have other plans."

"That sounds great actually. Do you want to do our presents for each other here right now? My present for you is in this room right now."

"My present for you is also in this room. We can do that, so we can open them together in private."

"Alright. You can open yours first." Randy climbs out of bed and pulls out a wrapped present.

"What a gentleman you are." I comment to Randy with a smirk.

"I am a gentleman to you." Randy sits back down on the bed and passes the present to me. "Here."

"Thanks." I opened the present. "A photo album? I can't believe you took the time to put this together for me."

"I know you're rather sentimental. I figured this would be something that you'd appreciate. I was a little nervous about how it would turn out, but Michelle gave me some advice that was very helpful."

"This is great. Thank you. Let me get yours for you." I get out of bed and get Randy's present. "It's not nearly as good as what you got me though."

"I'm sure that's not true."

I sit back on the bed and hand Randy his gift. "Here. Find out for yourself."

Randy opens his gift. "I've been looking for this cologne everywhere. How did you find this?"

"Trust me, it wasn't easy."

"I'm sure it wasn't. Thank you, Rissa. I love it."

"I'm glad."

"And I love you." Randy pulls me into a kiss. "Do you think we have time before someone comes to get us?"

"I'm not having sex until we get back home."

Randy rolls his eyes. "I know that. I just wanted to know if we could just have some quiet alone time for a little while."

I smile. "I think we've got time."

I approach my dad after everyone is done opening presents. "Hey, Dad, can we talk in private for a few minutes?"

Vince gives me a confused look but nods. "Sure, follow me, so we can get privacy."

The girls give me serious looks as I go to follow my dad. I nod to them to confirm what I know they're suspecting.

My dad leads me to a room and closes the door behind us. "So what do we need to discuss, Marissa?"

"Well, Creative wants to split up my faction. I'm sure you've heard about that. I've tried talking to Creative multiple times about it, but they won't even consider changing their minds about it."

"I've heard about that. You've got some members of Creative pretty well pissed off by doing that."

"Well, to be honest, I don't care if they're pissed off at this point because I feel that I did it for a good cause. This isn't the right call. It's too soon to split my faction."

"So what do you want me to do?"

"At least have them take the time to reconsider. That's all I ask. They don't listen to me or my girls. I just want them to reconsider."

"Give me a reason to tell them to reconsider. You may be my daughter, but all due respect, Marissa, I'm not going to step on Creative's toes without good reason."

"I understand that. Dad, let's not pretend you don't see the bond between Michelle, Maryse, Eve, and I because you clearly do. You invited them all to spend Christmas here with us too, seemingly to ensure Randy and I would spend some time here for Christmas too and not just spend it all in Saint Louis. You wouldn't do it for just no reason. You see how tight knit the four of us are, but here's the thing, those three women aren't just friends to me. Those three women are my family. They're my sisters. We've already gone through so much together as a group, and we do so much together. We aren't just a thrown together group either. We thought this stuff out and fought for months to get our pitch for a faction of a Divas approved. We've had highly viewed matches and segments and been selling large amounts of merchandise the whole time we've been together. So maybe it's better to ask why they shouldn't reconsider when it comes to splitting us up."

"What about Michelle? She's already been split from the group, Marissa."

"It wouldn't be hard to make an explanation for it. Michelle and I aren't even completely at odds with each other on TV. We show mutual respect. Plus, let's not act like I didn't just give Mickie James a beating in the ring for what she did to Michelle at the SmackDown Filming. Michelle has been my best friend since the Diva Search days. That friendship doesn't have to be hidden, and we've got great chemistry. That's undeniable."

"It seems you've definitely inherited my stubbornness. Okay, I'll have Creative reconsider, but that doesn't mean things will definitely change. Understood?"

"I understand. Thanks."

10:17 PM

Randy walks into our bedroom at home and climbs in bed with me. "She's in bed. Time for you and I to get our bonding time in."

"I don't know about that. I'm pretty tired." I smirk at Randy.

"I know we've done a lot today, but that doesn't mean you can't spare me some bonding time."

"Did you not consider our alone time this morning bonding time?"

"It was, but quite frankly, I need more." Randy kisses on my neck.

"You're the worst."

"We both know you don't actually mean that, Rissa."

"Are you sure about that, Randal?"

Randy rolls his eyes. "I'm certain, just as certain as I am about you only calling me Randal to get on my nerves."

"It always works."

"You're so lucky that you're pretty." Randy continues to kiss on me. "So pretty."

"We both know that's not the only reason you like me."

"Like you?" Randy gives me a serious look. "Marissa, I love you. I had an amazing Christmas with you and can't wait to spend Christmas together with you for the rest of our lives."

"I can't wait either. I love you too."

"I know." Randy chuckles. "I'm so glad to have you in my life. I hope you know that."

"I do." I smile at him. "And the feeling is mutual, Randy."

"I'm glad to hear that. This was my favorite Christmas since I got to spend all of it with you."

"It was my favorite too."

"I'm glad. So earlier, you did tell me that we weren't going to have sex until we were home. Since we're home now, does that mean…?"

"Is that all you ever think about?"

"No, you just make me feel that way, Marissa."

"You are such a pain in the ass."

"Sorry not sorry. You didn't give me an answer."

"I don't know, Randy. Maybe I'm not feeling up to it right now."

"I can tell that's your teasing tone."

I pull Randy into a kiss. "It is. We can. As soon as we're done though, I plan on going to bed."

Randy laughs. "I don't think I'll be far behind you."
