Ratigan and Basil entered the hall, seeing a lot of people around in in costumes. It reminded them of the comic-con they went to last month, but it was Halloween now and the girls dragged them along to another part in New Jersey. Some people saw them and said that there costumes were really well done.

"I see you guys are the hit of the show again."

They looked to the side and saw Constantine, again in a novelty shirt, this time with the batman symbol on it.

"Not one for costumes, are you Mr. Patronazzi?" Basil said with a smile.

"No, I'm not. He said while Ratigan looked around the room.

"Where are the girls?"

"Getting ready." Constantine said. "Every year, the girls choose each other's costumes and they keep it under wraps until today."

"Yeah and it gets quite annoying." Leo said, appearing in a Spiderman costume, taking Constantine's arm.

"Come on, Batman. Get me a drink." He chirped, leading Constantine away.

"Alright! Let's get the party started!"

The rodents sighed, knowing it was Lily who yelled out and when they looked at her, their eyes widened.

Lily was dressed in a green leotard that was designed to look like leaves along with light green leggings and black heels. Her blonde hair was colored burgundy, which circled around her face. She strutted to the men, showing off every inch of herself.

Basil gaped at Lily, while Ratigan just looked at her with her arms folded.

"What are you supposed to be?" he asked.

"I'm Poison Ivy; she's a villain from Batman. She seduces men with plants."

"Oh, that's going to be your next trick?"

Lily ignored the jab and looked at Basil, who was still gaping at her.

"Like what you see, Basil?" she purred.

"Yes, I mean No! I mean-" he blurted out, face palming himself. Lily just grinned and looked at the doorway.

"Izzy, come out and show the boys your costume."

They heard footsteps and Isabelle walked in.

She was wearing a white ballroom dress, her curly hair framing her face, with a white tiara on her head. She had a little glitter on her cheeks and her glasses had white frames with glitter on them.

"Hi, guys." She said with a shy smile, "Do you know who I am?"

Ratigan smiled and walked up to her.

"It seems Cinderella has come to the ball." He purred as he bowed and kissed her hand, making her blush. Some techno music started playing, making Lily squeal.

"Oh, my favorite song!" Come on, Basil, I'm gonna show you how to dance." She said, dragging him to the dance floor. Isabelle and Ratigan just smiled and headed to food table. They watched as Basil tried to mimic Lily's moves, but he just couldn't, making them laugh. Some soft music started to play and Ratigan smiled.

"This music I can manage." He said, looking at Isabelle, "Would you care for a dance, milady?"

"I will be delighted, Professor." She said as she took his hand and lead her to the middle of the dance floor. He took one hand in his and the other on her waist. He the led her in a slow waltz, making them both smile at each other. Unknown to them, their friends were watching them.

"They look so cute together!" Leo squealed.

"Yeah, it's almost like they were made for each other." Constatine said.

"It's been awhile since I see her smile like that." Lily said with a smile.

Basil was quiet as he watched his enemy danced with Isabelle. He never had seen him so peaceful before, with anybody. The two continued to dance until someone dressed as a musketeer came to them and tapped Isabelle's shoulder.

"Isabelle?"

"Yes?"

"It's me, Kyle, remember?" he said, making her eyes widened.

"Yes, I remember." She said, making Ratigan look at her. "We used to date." She explained.

"Yeah." Kyle said with a smile, then looking at Ratigan, "And you are…"

"James." He said, using his middle name.

"Hi." Kyle said, then turning to Isabelle. "Isabelle, would you like to dance?"

"No, thank you." She said with a polite smile, making Kyle look at her with shock and his face took on a dark look.

"Dance with me."

"No, Kyle."

He then grabbed her arm and pulled her to him.

"You are going to dance with me!" he exclaimed. Suddenly, Ratigan grabbed his arm and pulled him away from Isabelle.

"The young lady doesn't want to dance with you." He said tightly, making his size intimidating as possible. Isabelle sighed as she patted Ratigan's arm.

"I'll be outside for a bit." She said, heading to the outside balcony. Kyle looked at her and then sneered.

"You know what, Isabelle?! I only went out with you out of pity!"

At that moment, Ratigan fist met Kyle's face, making him fall to the ground. He looked to where Isabelle went and saw she didn't look back as she went out to the balcony. He went after her, glancing at the group.

"Please take care of the mongrel." He growled out as he went to the balcony. He saw Isabelle was sitting on one of the benches, looking down at her hands. He sat next to her, waiting for her to say something.

"He was the one who broke up with me." She said, looking at Ratigan, "You know why?"

He shook his head.

"It was because I was a bad kisser." She said with a laugh, "He was my first kiss and he said I was a bad kisser."

Ratigan rolled his eyes at the stupidity of Kyle's reasoning.

"But I heard afterwards…that he starting getting abusive with his girls. I guess I lucked out."

She then let out a loud sigh.

"He was my first and last boyfriend. I didn't have time for romance. Not to mention I don't know if I'm even a good enough kisser."

Ratigan sighed and turned to look at Isabelle, tilting her chin up to look at him.

"Isabelle, I-I…" he started to say and then decided the hell with it.

He put his lips on Isabelle's, feeling her stiffened. Then to his surprise, he felt her respond. He admits that it felt odd, kissing a human, but it felt so damn good. Isabelle had the same thoughts, but she didn't care in the least. Suddenly, Ratigan pulled away, startling her.

"I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have done that." He said, about to stand up, but Isabelle held his arm.

"Why? Why did you stop?" she said, "Don't push me away."

He sighed and looked away.

"Isabelle, you are so kind to me, but I don't want you to fall for me. I'm not the kindest man for a relationship and I'm also a…what I am. That's not right for a person like you."

Isabelle gave an exasperating sigh and grabbed his cheek, making him look at her.

"Do you like me?" she asked, making him nod.

"I have no illusions to what you are, Ratigan." She said softly, "But I do care for you and I like you as well. So please, let me decided what is right for me."

He looked at her sternly, though he felt grateful for her feelings and thoughts.

"What do you want?" he asked softly.

"I want you to kiss me again." She whispered as he grabbed her cheek and guides her to his face, kissing her again. They separated briefly with a moan.

"Ratigan…" she whispered.

"Padriac."

She blinked and looked at him in confusion. He just smiled at her.

"My first name, its Padriac."

She couldn't help but giggle.

"Padriac…"

He smiled as they kissed again, her hands cupping his face as his paws circled around her waist. Their kisses became more needy as Isabelle's lips parted and his tongue entered her mouth. Their tongues dueled as they groaned together. Isabelle moved closer to Ratigan as he held her to his chest and onto his lap, their kisses become more passionate.

They then separated for much need hair, both panting for breath. Ratigan looked at her, taking note of her swollen lips, messy hair and flushed face. She looked at him with a smile, as he out a lock of her hair behind her ear.

"So…um." She stuttered, "Does this mean we are together?"

He grinned and laughed loudly.

"I assume we are, my dear." He said, making her smile. She then get off his lap, fixing her hair and tiara.

"Let's go back to the other, before they wonder where we are." She said, making him nod as he also stood up.

"My dear, lets keeps this between ourselves for now. I don't want to hear Basil's lectures."

"Yeah, or Lily and Leo gushing."

They both walked back into the hall, eager to explore their new relationship.

AN: This one took an awhile to write, but I finally got it down. I know what you're all thinking, FINALLY!

I finally got these two together.

I did want them to hook up around Halloween, tis one of the reason why I made Isabelle Cinderella. Again, Con isn't much for costumes, Leo loves them and Lily once again has a rather revealing costume.

The situation with Kyle actually happened to me. An ex of mine did break up with me because he said I was a bad kisser and he was my first kiss! Later on, he told my boyfriend now that he only went out with me out of pity, douchebag! And yes, he did get abusive with his later girlfriends.
