Nico

Raven yanked me off the ground and dragged me to the lake. "What are you doing?" I whispered. She glared at me.

"We need to make a distraction or Travis is gonna be in big trouble," she hissed.

"I know that! But what are you gonna do about it?" I asked. Raven shrugged but continued to run until we were at the lake.

"Nico, stack up those canoes!" Raven ordered. "I'll be right back, be ready to push those into the lake and run."

I did what she said, and poised in a ready position. Then I went back to casually standing because I felt dumb in that position. Raven came back a few minutes later, panting and swearing.

"Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit, we need to hurry!" She tossed some sort of device into the canoe. Then while I pushed the canoes into the lake, Raven grabbed a stick and started to write something in the sand.

"What now?" I asked once the canoes were floating away from shore. Raven finished what she was writing, or drawing, I couldn't really tell.

"Cover your ears?" she shouted, before screaming really loudly. I thought she had betrayed me at first, but then there was a huge explosion and the canoes were on fire. We started running again, but this time to the cabins. Hopefully Aphrodite would take the bait and Travis would have enough time to sneak into the Pavilion.

Travis frowned, then understanding dawned on his face. "Shit! It's lunch time, are they doing a roll call?"

I nodded. "You need to hurry, it's just starting." I didn't want to imagine what would happen if Travis was late. Hopefully, he'll be able to get there in time. Except Travis was shaking his head and not getting up.

"It's pointless now, I've been late too many times. They'll kick me out of Camp now, sorry guys I guess I'm useless now," Travis said sadly. I glared at him.

"It's not over yet, you gotta still have a chance!" I argued. Travis sighed, but looked resigned to his fate. Thalia looked like she wanted to argue too, but wasn't sure what else to say. Raff, though, nodded.

"They're probably looking for every chance they've got to kick him out. It's easier if he just goes into hiding, for all we know they might make it impossible to get him to pass through the barrier if he gets kicked out. Then our rebels might lose heart without Travis there," Raff said. Thalia shook her head.

"Not necessarily, Travis getting kicked out might rile them up. If Travis gets kicked out they'll have even more of a reason to rebel against the gods. We might even get more campers on our side because of it!" Thalia argued, loudly. I nodded in agreement.

"She's right, it's not over till we say it is!" Travis grinned, hope creeping back into his expression.

"It's good to have you guys back."

"Come on! You need to hurry and be late!" Raff exclaimed, and the four of us headed for the exit. Just as we were leaving two campers crashed right into us.

"There you are!" the boy shouted.

"Why the hell are you still down here? You need to hurry!" The girl said angrily. The boy nodded in agreement.

"Yeah, we caused a distraction, but we're not sure how long it'll last."

"Wait, who the hell are you guys?" I asked in confusion. I swear I've never seen these kids before, they weren't at any of the meetings.

"It's Nico and I! We'll explain later, but for now Travis needs to start running," the girl, who is apparently Raven, said in a rush. Travis nodded and started running towards the Pavilion. Thalia glared at Raven and Nico.

"So, care to explain why you two were wandering around Camp?" she asked in a deadly calm voice. I smirked.

"Yeah, I'm pretty sure we were suppose to stay underground," I added. Nico and Raven looked at each other nervously.

"Uh, reconnaissance?" they suggested feebly. Thalia and I exchanged a look before bursting out in laughter.

"We're just screwing with you guys!" I assured them, grinning widely.

"Yeah, and you guys so feel for it!" Thalia laughed. Raff nodded with a chuckle.

"We should probably get inside though. Ya know, before anyone spots us," he added after a minute. We quickly calmed down, and shoved each other back inside
