The group was on the couch as Isabelle put in a DVD and sat next to Ratigan.

"So, this is a new film?" Basil asked.

"Yes, it's called Les Miserables, it's a musical." Isabelle said.

"Huh, I believe I read the book." Ratian said, "Let's see it did it justice."

As the film started, they were all impressed with the work son and Hugh Jackman and Russell Crowe singing. Isabelle then scoffed.

"Javert is such a douche." She exclaimed, making the tohers chuckles.

Ratigan couldn't help but identify with Valjean, he knows how it is to be a "slave" of the law. His ears perked down as Valjean sang in the church and tearing his parole papers, feeling for the character.

They all went into goose bumps and felt sad for Fantine and sang about what she went through. They all tears in their eyes (Isabelle was openly weeping.) when she sang "I dreamed a Dream". Their chests clenched when she died and Valjean promised to watch over her child.

They all snorted with laughter when the innkeepers were introduced, with Sacho Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter singing "Master of the House". The sheer debauchery of the song just made it hilarious.

They then watched as the years went by, showing it was the year of the French Revolution.

"At least they got their history right." Basil said.

They chuckled at his comment and then watched as Gavortche sang. When they were at the part when Marius and Cosette first saw each other and fell in love, Lily snorted.

"Oh please, love does not happen that quickly."

"You'll be surprised." Ratigan murmured, making Isabelle quirk up an eyebrow, but she continued to watch the film.

When the revolutionaries started singing "Can You Hear the People Sing?", Isabelle grinned.

"This is my new ringtone." She said, making everyone chuckle.

At the scene when Eponine was singing in the rain, Lily rolled her eyes.

"That idiot! She should have snagged him when she had the chance." She said, making everyone roll her eyes at her.

As the movie progressed to the fight and when Cosette and Marius got married, Isabelle was openly sobbing and cried at the end when all the characters were singing in the afterlife. When the credits rolled, they all sighed.

"That was…beautiful." Isabelle hiccupped, "I'm never seeing it again."

Everyone nodded in agreement, not really wanting to see a weeping Isabelle again.

AN: Another movie night chapter with Les Miserables.

I finally saw the movie and I loved it! Isabelle reactions are mine, I'm very emotional. I think Ratigan would feel for Valjean and Lily would make stupid comments like that.

Isabelle's line at the end was mine, it's one of those movies that you could only see once.

Anyway, enjoy and comments are loved! I don't own GMD or Les Miserables, just Isabelle and Lily!
