Reid went to answer the knock on his door, "I'm glad you're here."
"What's going on?" Hotch asked as he walked in and noticed his team huddled on the bed looking back at him. "I saw this note slipped under my door saying that it was important to meet here."
Reid filled him in on what happened earlier with Aimee.
"Where is she now?" Hotch questioned.
"I got her into a room at The Paradise. Bruno is keeping an eye on her," Reid explained.
"What's the plan now?" Rossi looked to Reid.
"I need to keep scarce, those guys will recognize me if I run into them again," Reid stood with his hands on his hips.
"That could compromise everything we've been doing," Prentiss announced.
Hotch turned to Reid, "What do you have Alex doing right now?"
"Wait, you don't know where she is?" Reid's face dropped.
Hotch showed equal concern. "She said she was coming to your room. That's what I assumed the note was about."
"How long ago was that?" JJ asked.
Hotch thought for a moment, "She left me about a half hour ago."
"So where the hell is she?" Morgan questioned.
Alex knocked on the hotel room door. She watched as it opened and stepped in still dressed up from the gala. "Okay, I'm here, let's get this over with."
"Why the rush?" Sloane asked.
"I don't have time, Julian; Aaron is waiting for me," Alex reminded.
"Ah yes," he poured two glasses of wine. "I would think after a romantic evening the two of you would want to be alone."
"Exactly! I want that too," she crossed her arms.
"Please, have a seat, let's have some wine," he handed her the glass.
"No thank you," she replied coldly.
"I insist; it will take your edge off," he demanded as he sat down.
Alex gulped down the alcohol then gave him an appeasing grin.
"You just slugged a glass of a 1990 Bertani Amarone. That's a $300 bottle of wine," he scolded.
"Maybe you shouldn't have insisted," she placed the empty glass on the table.
Alex stood in front of him and slowly unzipped the back of her dress. She slid down the top revealing a strapless, black, lace bra. She shimmied down the rest of the fabric and let it pool around her ankles.
Sloane couldn't take his eyes off of the black lace scarcely covering her body. "I forgot how gorgeous you looked without your clothes on. You haven't aged a bit."
Alex moved toward him and pulled him to stand before her. She placed her hands on both sides of his head and rubbed her fingers through his hair and stared into his eyes.
"Are you going to admit that you missed me?" Sloane asked with a cocky grin.
Alex's eyes were full of desire as she clutched onto his hair and pulled him closer to her. She swiftly pulled him back and head-butted him. She spun around and swept his head and he collapsed back into his chair.
Alex turned toward the door but felt as if the room was spinning around her. Her legs buckled and she fell onto her knees but still attempted to crawl toward the door as she felt weaker. She then slumped atop of her dress and saw Sloane standing over her just as she closed her eyes.
The team dispersed to scour the hotel looking for Alex. After double checking their room, Hotch headed to the only other place he could think she would be.
Hotch knocked on Sloane's door.
"Aaron, what can I do for you?" Sloane asked, cool as a cucumber.
"I'm sorry to disturb you, Julian, but I wanted to know if you've seen Alex recently."
"No, I'm sorry, I haven't."
Hotch studied his face.
"Why would you think she would be here?" Julian gave a subtle smirk.
Hotch reviewed what he could of the room. "She mentioned something about seeing you. I just wanted to check here before going to the bar," Hotch said nonchalantly.
"I'm sorry, Aaron, I haven't seen her since we shared a dance earlier."
Hotch politely nodded, "Well, thank you anyway."
Sloane said his goodbye and shut the door.
Hotch went back to Reid's room where the team had all regathered. "She was definitely there," Hotch announced.
"How can you be sure?" Morgan questioned.
"I could smell her perfume and I noticed one of the earrings she was wearing on the floor by the bed," Hotch reported.
"What did he say?" Reid asked.
"That he hadn't seen her since they danced. However, he did have a cut over his eye that he tried to cover up."
Reid pulled out a laptop and handed it to Garcia. "I need you to tap into the hotel's security system again and pull up the camera closest to Sloane's room.
Garcia had put together a wired connection for when they needed it and started typing away. "Okay, here."
They swarmed around her as she played back the recording. They watched as Alex walked down the hallway, knocked on the door and was let it. Garcia fast-forwarded but never saw anyone come or go out of that room.
Everyone looked to Reid who had a million thoughts processing through his head.
"Reid?" Hotch nudged.
He looked back at everyone who was still dressed up from the gala. "Go get changed. We will meet in front of the hotel in 15 minutes."
They nodded and filed out of the room. Rossi stood in front of the door and closet it, "Talk to me, kid."
"She went to his room, Rossi. She went there on her own. Why would she do that?" Reid let his anxiety show.
"Maybe she didn't have a choice," Rossi suggested.
"She would know how to get word to me if she were being coerced. This isn't our first rodeo," Reid paced across the floor.
"Alex went into that room on a mission, and you need to acknowledge that."
"For what purpose, Rossi? She wouldn't jeopardize what we've been doing here. She knows how important it is, what he's done to all these women."
"And what about what he's done to her?" Rossi stared at him.
"It was a difficult case, we all know that, but she's a good agent and is able to put her emotions aside."
"The man is a master manipulator and sociopath. He played Alex the entire time she was undercover and every second he has seen her on this island. He has been flaunting what he has done to her."
"What are you talking about?" Reid questioned.
"Alex has one of Sloane's tattoos," Rossi revealed.
Reid scoffed, "No she doesn't."
"She has kept it hidden from you. You need to know the truth."
"You've been profiling Alex in your spare time?" Reid didn't want to believe him.
"She told me. She showed me."
Reid was baffled over what he was hearing. "Are you telling me that Alex had sex with Sloane?"
"I'm telling you that whatever she did, she didn't have a choice."
Reid was hurt and confused. "Why… why didn't she tell me? I could have been there for her." He stopped and looked back to Rossi, "I would have gotten her out of there."
"She wouldn't have let you."
He then sat on the bed with his head in his hands. "I would have never put her undercover here."
"We don't have time to regret things, we need to figure out where she is."
Reid shook his head as he thought.
"What's going through that Grade A brain of yours?" Rossi asked.
"Why would he take her? There are hundreds of younger women on this island. What does he gain by having her?" He let out a sigh, "We need to find her."
