Isabelle packed her suitcase with ease and apprehension.
She had to get to New York to look over some costume plans. She was a little worried to leave Ratigan, Basil and Lily alone in the house for the weekend.
Oh god, will there still be a house when she gets back?
She heard a chuckle behind her and saw Ratigan leaning against the door.
"Darling, we are going to be fine. There will still be a house when you come back."
She smiled awkwardly as she zipped up her bag and look up at him.
"Now, if any of you guys need something, just call Con or Leo."
"Yes, dear."
"There's leftovers in the fridge."
"Yes, dear."
"If you want takeout, there's money in the jar in the kitchen and Lily opens the door."
"Isabelle, we will be fine. We are not children." He laughed, then taking one of her hands in his and smiled gently.
"I'm going to miss you." He said, making her smile.
"Me too, querido." She said, "me too."
