Starflight's PoV
Starflight walked to his first class of the day, which he thankfully shared with Glory and Fatespeaker. He had many insecurities, being the "nerd" of the school, and when he had his friends around, Starflight felt a sense of comfort and happiness. On the way, he accidentally walked into Scarlet Redscar [Ik, ik, my names r getting weirder and weirder], a twelfth grade student, and the bully of the school. "Hey, watch where you're going, nerd," she snapped.
Starflight flinched. He was too scared to say anything back, but was thankfully spared from doing so. "Maybe you should watch your rude mouth, your annoyingness," Fatespeaker Nightflame retorted. Starflight sent a quick smile of relief and gratitude towards her, and he was probably imagining it, but he thought she blushed.
Scarlet was about to yell back at Fatespeaker before Glory walked over, her presence instantly silencing Scarlet. Glory was probably the only one that Scarlet was afraid of...
-Flashback-
"WHAT DID YOU DO TO PERIL?!" Scarlet roared. Peril's mother, Kestrel Sky, had been sentenced to jail for 5 years over a crime which she didn't commit, and Scarlet was looking after Peril why Kestrel was still in jail. When Peril had met Clay and his friends, she became a nicer person and was no longer than impolite bully that all students were afraid of.
"Correction: What did you do to her?" Glory snarled back. "She's a much better person now, even she says so herself. You taught her to bully others, you made her a jerk, and someone who everybody respected out of fear, not genuine respect."
"You're such a weak bitch, Glory. Everybody knows that you're a broken mess inside, and you're only- OWWW!"
Scarlet's sentence was cut short as Glory punched her in the jaw. "I may be a 'mess', but that doesn't mean I'm broken and weak," Glory hissed.
Weeks later, Scarlet finally came back to school. Her jaw had healed, but there were still traces of the bruise that Glory's punch had left, and it seemed rather crooked. Scarlet had never dared to mess around with Glory again.
-End flashback-
"I really wish I had your confidence, Glory," Starflight sighed a little enviously as they sat down for their class.
Glory smiled slightly. "Everybody has their own kind of confidence. And by the way, if you wanna grow your self-esteem, you should confess to Sunny. She knows of your feelings."
Wait, what?!
