In all honest if I do choose to do so, then you are free to stop reading as there many book that can pique your interest ya know? No hate here brotha. (Johannes Bornlof - Sleeping Beauty)
As Jace walks deeper into the misty forest, the more dangerous the creatures become. From facing off against a few of the frenzied wolfs that are native to the land, to Unforgettable creatures that plagued the hunter's Dream and the city Blood-stained city of nightmares that is Yharnam. Jace grew more and more concerned as the time went on in the forest, not due to his safety, but for the safety of the people of Teyvat. He had grown fond of this world as he spent time here, from the food to the people. He knew that this was his problem, his mess that he needed to clean up, and he will find a wait to rid of his Twisted path
The trek across the forest became quiet for a bit, only letting out the sound of the wind of the skies and the rustling of the leaves for his ears to hear, and his skin to feel. It was times like this that Jace let his mind wander, and into the past of his most cherished...and horrid memories. These memories will continue to live on within the mind of the hunter for all eternity, the damage inflicted by the knowledge bestowed upon him.
Yharnam
(Hellsing Ultimate OST - Kuro inu to Mukade No Kouishin)
he first hunt was overwhelming to the new hunter. From the cries and screams of the many unfortunate souls in the distance to the howls of the beats echoing across the dying, ...Jace was terrified. But he was stuck here, in a world unlike his own, and in search of a cure that was never promised. When he first arrived in a misty area called the dream, Jace didn't know what to think of it. All he remembered at the time was waking up in a hospital-like gurney in a room full of books...and stairs that would lead down to his inevitable death by a wolf-like creature. 'What the hell is that?!' Jace screamed mentally as panic filled his system, causing him to stay in place by the end of the stairs. From the looks is this wolf, it was huge. Bigger than any wolf he has ever seen! Not only was it tall, but semi-lanky in physical features, with greasy and black spotted fur on its body. The real horror started however when the young hunter let his eyes drift down to the wooden floor.
The wolf mindlessly feasts on a recently killed man, paying no attention to his surroundings. The sickening sound of munching and squelching from the deceased man's organs, caused Jace to grow pale in color. 'I NEED to get out of here!' Jace Screamed in his mind he slowly but hurriedly backed up onto the stairs... not before knocking down a pile of books. The deafening silence of the books hitting the floor was all the wolf needed as it stops its feast and slowly turn its head towards the terrified hunter. Nothing in the world could describe Jace's fear as he stares back into this...beast's milky white eyes, the flap of rotting skin hanging off the snout, and the horrid, jagged teeth, protruding from its mouth. Time seemed to be slowed as the wolf, gets into a ready position to claim its next meal. Getting the hint, Jace panics and runs up the stairs as fast as humanly possible. Unfortunately, the wolf Was faster as it lunged toward Jace, successfully digging its talon-like claws into his back. It all happened too fast; Jace screamed out in anguish due to the talons easily cutting his flesh like a butcher preparing meat. But the scream was shortly cut as the wolf wastes no time in biting the back of his neck, resulting in his windpipes being crushed, as well as blood traveling down to his lungs. 't..this wa...sn't...supposed to be...li...ke...th...' Was the last thing Jace was able to think as black spots were slowly filling his vision, and the last thing he saw, was his headless body on the stairs as it gets further away, vision failing he closes his eyes.

...
(Bloodborne OST - Hunter's Dream)
Jace gasps heavily for air as he opened his eyes, taking in the new environment around him with sweating layering on his skin. "What!? W-Where am I?! I thought I died!" Jace yelled to himself while sitting upright as he frantically looks around his new surround with fear and unease. He then puts his right hand around the back of the neck to check the damage, only to find it healed with only a feelable light scar as its replacement. "What in god's name? how?" Jace spoke out loud. After feeling the scar for a few more moments, he lifted his head to find that a house was in front of him. Jace really started paying attention to his area as he started noticing more about his new location. On his left, he notices these strange gravestones, with each having a unique shape. Behind them like a small-esk walk away with a large tree that is surrounded by tons of white flows that seem to mysteriously...glow? 'This doesn't make sense any sense. I swore I felt that ...thing rip my head off my shoulders.' Jace thought internally. Eventually, the young hunter calmed down as he got a better sense of this new place that he has found himself in as he admired the moon, the leaves, and the flowers...it almost felt like this place is calming his nerves. With no other choice, he slowly got up from the ground and tried his best to wipe off the dirt sticking to his clothes. 'If I were to find answers, then the best place was to start, was this house ahead of me... but why do I feel that someone is watching me?'
Present
The hunter silently chuckles to himself of the random memory appearing in his head. As nightmarish as the eternal hunt was, it had its moments. From having tea with the friendly black sludge from the chapel along with Arianna, Adella, and the angry old lady, to just sitting and enjoying the calm winds, gliding past Jace's face with his eyes closed when he sat in contempt, along the bed of flowers that are moving with the breeze in the dream before heading out once more... Yes, those were simpler times indeed. Jace continues his walk-in silence, keeping his ears open for any movement of anything or anyone foolish enough to ambush the hunter. However, nothing eventually came to test their strength. In fact, Jace had noticed that there was not a single sound coming from the forest, but the rustling of trees and the subtle current of the wind. Jace knew that he was getting close, he can feel it. And that's when he heard it. The sound of crunching and chewing of something...or someone. With no time to lose, the hunter Gripped both weapons from each hand and dashed to the source of the sound. As the hunter got closer, and closer, so does the sound of a large beast feasting on its kill with happy growls and grunts. Jace can see it; A big beast behind a tree line that's hunched to and gorging on a corpse.
(Hellsing Ultimate OST - Hyaku Yorozu Hatsudan)
With a quick acceleration of speed, Jace bursts out of the tree line and into the clearing with the beast in the middle. The creature notices the hunter blitzing towards its backside but is too late to react as Jace swings his extended saw cleaver at one of the monster's Achilles tend and the Fibularis Brevis muscle, tearing through it with practiced ease. The creature roared in Pain and rage as it tried to catch the hunter by swinging its huge and hairy arm to the back of it. Unfortunately, it hit nothing but air as the hunter was already a good distance away from it as he dashed instantly back. 'so, this is where you have been hiding, eh Cleric beast?' Jason thought with venom lacing every word. The creature tries to get up, but its damaged foot buckles under its weight and feel down. But a few moments later, the wound seemed to heal remarkably fast. After a few moments of waiting, the beast finally stood to its full height, clearly overshadowing the hunter's own and staring into Jace's eyes with absolute malice and hatred behind those many eyes.
"You shouldn't even be here, beast. No worries, I will send you ba- "As Jace stared into this cleric beast's blood clump of meat and eyes, Jace slightly stumbled at the sight of it, causing his head to pulse like crazy due to the madness creeping in. However, Jace persevered and stood firm against the abomination, he had to. 'What happened to it?' Jace thought in slight pain. The cleric beast took this as a queue as it screeched into the night sky and swung its hairy arm down towards the hunter. Fortunately, Jace grew back his senses and dodged its hand in the nick of time, leaving a small crater where he last was. The beast roared again in frustration, and thus, the battle was on. The Cleric beast lunges at Jace with increased speed, hoping that this next swing will finish Jace off. Sadly, it was nowhere near as fast as the ascended hunter. The beast's claws scraped the ground missing Jace once again, but soon after, felt a terrible pain shoot up from its arm. The beast looks up and shrieked in pain as its hand was sliced into two. The beast crouched almost to the ground and lunged again in a rageful attempt to bite the hunter, but it quickly stopped when it tasted a heap of quicksilver bullets, filling his jaw with quicksilver bullets and almost
The beast was temporarily stunned by the attack that came from the hunter, but quickly regained senses and continued its assault while its wounds were rapidly healing. Jace didn't know what to think of this. The cleric beast seemed to have a regenerative process, but the question was how? Jace was both concerned and intrigued. But now was not the time to think, now was the time of action. As he was countering the beat attacks, he heard it again. That familiar sound when he first stared into the beast's eyes; the intense swarm of whispers all around him, and it was getting more intense as the fight went on. But he also heard something else as well. As he tried to tune in to another unfamiliar sound as he dodged and counters the beast's attacks with swift precision, the sound of a heart-thumping, which he then realized is coming from the Cleric beast's heart cavity. And that was when Jace knew what he needed to do. As Jace backed away from the beast for a moment, he materialized his arm cannon and replaced his hunter pistol with it as well as dematerializing his saw cleaver with the Beast blade taking its place. Now all Jace needed to do was wait for the right time. The cleric beast charges once again, closing the distance between the two but was all for naught when the hunter stretched out his non-canon hand and Conjured Augur of Ebrietas, one of the many incantations of the arcane arts. A small-sized portal appeared in front of the hunter's hand and spewed out a mass of tentacles at a terribly fast velocity, colliding with the cleric beast's oversized arm, crushing it upon impact. The beast shrieks once more in anguish as its arm has been pulverized by one of the many arcane spells that the hunter has in his arsenal. It may have regenerating properties, but that does not mean It could not feel pain. As it began to retract its damaged arm back to prepare another attack, the tentacles reached out and dug themselves in the beast's arm, grabbing hold and pinning the ruined arm to the ground, causing the ground to rumble as a small crater was formed.
Jace knew he does not have time to spare, so he aimed his other arm with the cannon towards the beast's chest with careful steadiness like the times he practiced with the local monsters of the scourge back in Yharnam. He pulled on the trigger mechanism and out came the quicksilver cannonball with a loud and thunderous roar of gunpowder and fire that was heading towards the beast's chest cavity. The cannonball was only strong enough to explode the chest and expose the heart, and that was all that Jace needed to finish this fight. With a hard tug on his tentacles, Jace Tore the arm right off its socket, earning a much louder shriek than the chest explosion. In a swift and deadly motion, Jace jumped to the chest like a speeding bullet, Beast Claw's arm extended while transforming his arm into a beast's arm itself, grabbed the still beating heart, and tore it from its tubes and cavity, blood spilling all over the hunter's clothes. Like a puppet having its strings cut, the Cleric beast ceased its shrieking and movement as it just stays in its current position for a moment, giving the hunter enough time to get off and land safely back on the ground before watching the beast's body shake and crumble to the ground like a sack of potatoes. The hunter notices a huge influx of blood echoes flowing into his body from the kill, which took him by surprise, which later turns into anger at the realization of the gravity of the situation. Jace stares at the corpse with hate, hate that it exists here, hate that it could have killed more folk, hate that there is more to come, and this is only the beginning. Jace grits his teeth in frustration; He knows there is more to come, he just hopes that it won't come anytime soon. But when it does... He will be ready, and nothing will stop him from protecting this new world he has found himself in. A world, free from the scourge. 'I swear on my life, I do what I can to protect this world.' Jace thought to himself with even more determination than ever before. The hunter finally noticed the still beating heart from the Cleric beast in its beast blade hand, still pulsing as if it were alive. With curiosity raising within the hunter, Jace held it closer to his face to get a better look at it and... wished that he didn't.
The heart with deformed, with holes and eyes all around it. It looked as if the eyes were staring right at him, feeding the madness swelling inside him. Luckily his tolerance to the madness was greatly increased due to his time on the hunt, but it still hurts his head to look at winter lanterns and the likes. Not wanting to hold the abomination in his hand any longer, Jace applied pressure on the heart. With each ounce of pressure applied to squeezing the heart, it would beat faster, its eyes began to frantically move in all directions as if it trying to escape. But nothing worked as Jace kept squeezing until it bursts in a gore of blood, caking his already bloody clothes once more. With a heavy sigh, Jace underhand tossed the crumbled heart on top of the dead beast and swapped his beast blade for the flame sprayer...and began lighting the corpse up and the unknown victim with a controlled fire so as to not burn the forest along with his past right in front of him, but not before grabbing a gold pendant for identification later. He would make sure no one would witness the events that happened here today, except maybe for that wolf god, since this is his domain, and he did fight it. He at least had the right to know what transpired today. With a small sigh, Jace dematerialized his weapons in favor of having Ludwig's holy blade resting on his back and Evelynn on his waist holster. He looked around his surroundings and noticed the forest was finally cleared of fog and the sounds of the returning wildlife. This little change brought a smile to Jace's clothed mouth. As the fire died down sometime after, Jace took that as his queue to leave. He would check the forest for more scourge, but he knew damn well that the scourge died with the death of the cleric beast, that he was sure of. He wasn't sure why he knew; he just did. Call it intuition if you will. With one more quick glance around the area, the hunter nodded to himself and walked back into the forest to meet up with Andrius once more to tell him of the results, and that the forest was safe once more for all who wished to roam it. As he walked away from the craters and the damage done to the area from their fight, Jace could not help but say one thing after a hard but fulfilling hunt. "Pray...slaughtered." But before he could leave the battlefield,
he stopped to look at the mountain cliffsides. During this whole time, he couldn't shake the feeling that something or someone was watching them, that same feeling when he first arrived in the town and went to the tavern. He was soon right as he saw a silhouette of a small figure sitting at the edge of the distant cliffs, staring at the hunter with their green/blue eyes. However, Jace paid no heed to the figure, however, since did not radiate any malice nor hostility toward the hunter, but rather curiosity and gratefulness. Plus, killing a Divine being, as the history books he read in the library called them, would attract unwanted and negative attention. For now, however, staring at the person with a steeled look in silence should get the idea that this stays silent. And with that, Jace turns around and heads into the forest, letting the trees and flora swallow his figure.
Venti Could not believe it, a new god from the stars! He knew he had a feeling about the hunter the moment he ended up in Teyvat. In fact, everyone must have felt the new wave of power, radiating off this newcomer, power that can challenge all the gods remaining in this domain. But it felt... closed as if it was waiting to come out when the hunter needed it the most. Also, along with his arrival, came an unwanted surprise. A surprise that not only fascinated Venti but also terrified him. But it seems that the hunter is on a path to rid of it, which formed an ever-grateful smile towards the new arrival. "I knew you were a good guy mister Blood-scented Hunter." Venti mused to himself. This 'hunter' Was capable of great things if his current deeds hadn't proved that already. But deep-down Venti knew that his help would be needed, as a dark storm was brewing in the future. That's why he followed him in the first place, to see what he would do about this troublesome issue. But it seems that his worries were soon put to rest as the hunter took care of that beast with frightening ease. However, Venti could not stop shuddering at the sight of such an unholy creation. 'Where did this new blood-scented hunter come from for there to be monsters behind human comprehension to appear such at that?! Even my head with pulsing furiously from the sight of its ungodly eyes.' Thought Venti as he continues to watch from afar. Before the hunter left, he turned to look straight at Venti, eyes meeting one another. No words were exchanged as the two stared in silence, but in understanding as the hunter finally ended the staring contest first and continue to walk away.
Venti knew what this point of that nonverbal interaction meant, of course, he wouldn't tell a soul. Venti soon after got up and stretched as he glanced at his surroundings. "I do hope we get to meet soon, Hunter. I will write stories about you, ya know?" Venti stated as he chuckled to himself. An interesting turn of events will take place. I wonder how this will go. And with that, Venti is surrounded by a small tornado, and disappeared, causing the tornado to disperse as well as the leaves that were caught in it, gently falling to the ground.
