Hotch returned to the bunker and rushed towards the bookshelf to pull out Bunker Hill and try to make his way to Reid while Duncan stood in the middle of the room with his hands on his hips attempting to find another solution.

Duncan turned around to look out the bay window and noticed Reid fighting with Karl. "I found him!"

Hotch joined Duncan to see Reid balancing himself on the dock while Karl blocked his way. They ran to the sliding door, threw it open and headed outside. Both men pulled their weapons and held aim on Karl.

Karl noticed the apparent threat to his life and let out a blurting laugh. "I knew you would need help to defeat me." He then turned back towards Duncan. "I warned Sloane that you were too goodie-two-shoes to be able to handle this business."

"If you mean to say that I'm too good to abduct women and do deplorable things to them, then thank you for the compliment," Duncan replied.

"I'll deal with you in a moment," Karl promised as he turned it attention back towards Reid. "Come on, boy, I don't have any more time for games."

Karl started towards Reid with his gigantic hands held out towards him. Reid swung the bar into Karl's knee then chopped at the nerve in his neck causing him to fall to his knee. Reid then jumped over Karl while using his body as a vault table then spun around with a hard kick to his face. Karl fell back onto the dock as Hotch and Duncan ran towards them ready to apprehend him.

Reid let out a sigh then jumped back over Karl and ran towards the end of the dock.

"Where are you going?" Hotch called out.

"I have to get to Alex!" Reid yelled back just before he dove into the water and swam out of the lagoon into open water.

Alex and Sloane continued their fight unaware that Reid was swimming towards the boat. They circled around each other, diving and weaving, both were equally matched and showed signs of being in a barroom brawl.

"Have I told you lately how much I love your fire?" Sloane asked in between blows.

"Have I told you how much I hate your guts?" Alex sassed back. "Not to mention, you ruined my vacation!"

"I'm terribly sorry about that," he smirked as he slammed his fist into her side.

"Somehow I doubt your sincerity," Alex responded with a swift uppercut.

"You should know by now, little girl, that I always get what I want! So, just make this easier on yourself and get off my boat and maybe I won't kill you," Sloane sneered.

"Yeah, you're hilarious. You actually think I'm going to allow you to hurt another girl ever again?" She charged toward him but he swung around her and pushed her against the rail of the boat.

She contemplated her next few moves when she noticed something swimming towards them. It wasn't too long before she recognized the swimmer. Alex turned around and started swinging at him with all her might. She threw punch after punch, her goal was to distract him. She managed to pick up the coiled up rope next to the cleat and threw it over the edge of the water. Once she was sure that Reid made it to the boat, she put her plan into action.

"You know what, Julian, this whole thing reminds me of when I got in a fight much like this on a case in Thailand," she remarked as she kicked him in his knee forcing him back against the edge of the boat.

"Oh yeah, why's that?" He asked out of curiosity.

"Because of me!" Reid announced as he popped up behind him with the rope in his hands.

Sloane grasped at the rope as Reid pulled it tightly around his neck. Reid looked up and saw Alex's bloody face and torn clothes. A fire lit in his eyes as he pulled the rope tighter. Sloane struggled and his feet grazed the floorboards as Reid lifted him off the ground.

Alex watched as Sloane flailed about and realized that her partner was doing more than just subduing him. She took a step forward then stopped herself. She thought for a moment then moved closer again.

"Reid," she called out. Reid twisted the rope behind Sloane's head, making it tighter around his neck. "Spencer!" Alex yelled.

Reid stopped as he met eyes with Alex, he dropped the now unconscious Sloane to the ground. Reid jumped over the side of the boat and quickly tied Sloane's hands together. He then dragged him to the ladder and secured him to it.

Reid stared down at Sloane and let out a deep breath, he turned to Alex who was shaking from battling with her worst enemy. He rushed to her side. He stood a breath away and lifted his hand to her arm but put it back down. He then looked up to her eyes. "Are you okay?"

"I'll be fine. It's nothing I haven't endured before," she forced a smile, trying to hide the pain.

"Did anyone… hurt… you?" He asked with an apprehensive tone. As much as he wanted to know, he didn't. Yet she understood the uncomfortable question he was asking. She was alone with him for quite a while and they had already rescued women distraught and half naked. The possibilities ran rampant in his mind.

Alex let out a deep breath. "No, no one hurt me," she replied softly.

Reid threw his arms around her and they shared an embrace. "I lost you once, I don't think I could handle it again."

Alex placed her finger under his chin and lifted it so their eyes met. "You won't have to worry about that… ever," she promised.

Reid cupped her face in his hand and used the other to brush her hair behind her ear. "I love you, Alex Marcus."

Alex allowed a smile to splash across her face. "I love you, too, Spencer Reid."

The two leaned in towards each other and shared an earth shattering kiss, one that could last a lifetime. The couple giggled to themselves unsure of what to say.

Reid used his hand to comb through his wet hair and flip it away from his face. "I'm so sorry," he chuckled.

"About what?" She questioned.

"I got you all wet," he looked down at her clothes that were now soaking from their hug.

"Come on, let's get back to the team," she urged.

"We have a lot of work left to do," Reid stepped over Sloane as he climbed up to the boat's controls and turned it around back into the lagoon.
