Hello one, Hello all.

Welcome back to another chapter of The Book Of Mudora.

I hope you all are having a great time with this story, and liking all that is happening so far!

I know there hasn't been action packed so far, but don't worry folks, its going to be picking up real soon.

I already have some people giving me some ideas for Omakes, but how about some in the style of Blazblue? Like Gag Reels?

If that's the case, I already have one in mind when we get around to it.

BTW! I had an artist do a commission for me on how Blake and Jaune would look in this adventure later on down the line. The artist I am talking about is called TehShraid, that person does some amazing art. Especially with how those two came out.

So I already have an idea for what items that Jaune, Blake, and Yang will have in the team. However... Pyrrha is gonna feel a little left out because I only have one or two items for her.

So if you guys have any suggestions for her leave it in the comment section or anything of that sort, and I'll get back to it.

But enough rambling from me! Its time to get back to the story. We are going to see what's up with our boy Jaune and what he was able to catch, meanwhile we left off with Yang getting into a heated battle against some less than friendly creatures.

Bold is for mostly Attack call outs, Italics are for Flashbacks and Thoughts, Both is for mostly the Hero's Shade talk.

I don't own RWBY or Legend of Zelda, but if I did Yang would totally have a pet dragon.

Chapter 8: First Encounters

(With Jaune)

The blond huffed out as he finally set Crocea Mors down on the grassy ground and took out his fishing rod. The blonde looked at the area around him, the river path around him just felt peaceful to him. This was the perfect place to catch some good fish.

Jaune was just doing a last minute inspection on the rod before he started, the river itself looked like pretty deep waters. Perfect for some big catches.

"I just hope lady luck is on my side." He thought, as he looked at the full length fishing rod one last time. After the final inspection his arms threw the line out with the lore bait and deep into the far side of the river. When he observed the river a second time, he noticed how clear this river was.

The body of water felt purified. There wasn't a lot of murky brown or a putrid green look to the river, in fact the color was almost like a light blue color, mixed with a sea green. Giving off this healthy look in Jaune's opinion. He has never seen a body of water this colorful, usually the rivers that he's been to were those brownish colored ones back in his hometown of Ansel.

But this one... It feels like its been untouched by humans, nature at its peak beauty that has been hidden away.

"Like someone is doing Oum's work and making sure this river is being looked after." Jaune said out loud, he couldn't help the smile that sprouted on his face.

Setting the rod into a stop position, the knight now just sat down and did the only thing he could do.

Play... The waiting game.

The blond teen wasn't the best at his patience, that usually went to his father or his oldest sister Jade when they were fishing. She was always the best at certain outdoors stuff.

"But at least I was the best archer out of the bunch hehehe..." Jaune chuckled with a nostalgic smile on his face. He could knock a target like a squirrel or take down a good sized buck with ease at 60 meters with his hunting bow when he was smaller. Those family dinners were the best when his mom cooked up the catch of that hunt, especially when he would be the one to bag the catch.

He would always remember Jade would sometimes pout out when little Jaune outhunts her, it was weird to see his eldest sibling pout about something so trivial, but he couldn't help if it looked cute and he

Of course Jade along with Amethyst and Vermillion were not slouches either, but they were better with using rifles and guns then the good old bow and arrow. The knight didn't really like using rifles or any kind of guns, he thought they were too noisy and would alert the animal if they did miss.

Jaune's thoughts turned to home, he wondered how the farm was doing back in Ansel along with his folks, the quiet farming town was definitely a lot more peaceful compared to others that were constantly at risk against the Grimm. Sure there was some... issues with the place, but Jaune didn't mind the silence and farm work at first. His father always said it built character to every Arc sibling. His sister's kind of slogged through the work but got it done in the end, his third oldest sister Amethyst was definitely the one that complained the most on that front.

Those years in Jaune's opinion weren't too bad for him, he learned a lot and took care of certain kinds animals like chickens, cows, goats, and horses. A lot of stuff around the farm like milking the cows, learning how to herd goats, and harvesting chicken eggs. Jaune and sister's knew what hard work was when upkeeping the Arc family farm and house.

The knight could only shudder at his least favorite task of harvesting the eggs from the chickens, he referred to them as demons for their hellish temper and continous assaults of feet, he always remembered his battle scars when going into the hen house.

However his favorite task was definitely herding the goats in with the horses. The family stable always had some of the best breed of horses coming from the Arc family, sure a vehicle would be more up to speed in the city and would be more useful. But in farming towns like his horses were always the best choice to transverse through dangerous areas.

"I wonder how Epona is doing." He thought back to a horse he grew up with when he was at the ranch. She had ruddy orange color to her and a beautiful white mane to give off an exotic appearance. She was definitely shy at first when she met him, but as time went on she was always following him around because Jaune spoiled the horse rotten with delicious red apples and sugar cube treats even when his other told him not to.

When she finally grew up into a mature horse, Epona didn't let any of his sister's ride her as she would always run away from them, even mother couldn't tame this horse. But when her son went up to the cheeky girl she immediately calmed down. Jaune remembered when he wanted to finally ride a horse, he wanted to choose her as her riding partner. His mother was skeptical at first and his older sister's were definitely worried for his safety.

But it was his father words that gave him hope and excited him

"June. Don't worry. He's got this." Jaune remembered his father encouragement, and it wasn't misplaced. Jaune put a saddle on Epona and climbed on her back. He was a little shaky at first, but a little slow movement here and there had the male Arc slowly get the hang of it. Jaune was definitely happiest at that moment, and the rest of his siblings were cheering him on as he rode Epona, his mother and father having a beaming smile on their faces.

Jaune felt the full confidence in his family that day, the exhilaration of riding his favorite horse at a full speeds was so cool, his body was felt the adrenaline when being with one of his best friends in the world.

The ranch definitely gave the Arc teen plenty of memories, he thought he would never want anything else out of life. Loving to hunt with his bow, riding on his best friend in the open fields, his loving family with him all the time.

Then as he grew up... He knew he wanted to do something else with his life, he thought he wasn't doing enough for the world. He wanted to become a Huntsmen out in the world, to bring glory to the Arc family name and help people in need. His older sister talking about their adventures as huntresses pushed his want to become one of the greats, and his father confirmed his desires as he told him of the missions he'd been on when he was younger, filling the young teenager with stories of old.

He shook his head on the thought, he needed to think of something else before he started feeling homesick and start bringing up... bad memories.

"Remember why you're here." A familiar voice whispered, its like his mentor knew of his feeling of strife.

It seems the Hero's Shade was trying to get him back on track with his mindset. That wasn't a problem with Jaune, he needed to stay focused on catching the fish for his groups dinner, but he wanted to keep himself occupied with a topic in the meantime to block out all this waiting.

Trying to think of a new topic was actually quite simple, as this was a discussion he not only needed to have for himself, but with all of his teammates and friends.

And that was self improvement in combat.

Not that the medallion isn't important, because that assignment definitely wasn't putting his future on the line. Jaune needed to brainstorm on how to improve so he could obtain his next hidden skill in some capacity.

His strength training was going great with Pyrrha working with him so Jaune crossed that out. He was starting to train on his own as well to get his muscle memory on the training that the Shade was teaching him, his swordsmen skills were improving slowly day by day from the joint work of both his teacher and his partner so that was covered, and he was using the Skyward Strike daily to improve on the skill.

So how was he going to improve further?

Maybe he should try and come up with some crazy move that even the Shade would proud of...

"Hmmm... Nah I don't think that would work." He had a feeling that the warrior would just scoff at the idea. New moves will only work if you have the ground work for one, and Jaune didn't have any to work with.

What about some stamina training? He could always improve on that anytime and it would definitely be helpful later down the line. He would ask his partner to do it, but what if she was busy with her sponsors or some other annoyance from Mistral?

Maybe Yang could help out with that. Jaune knows that the brawler is always looking for a workout partner, perhaps he could talk about getting some sparring or hand to hand practice once in a while, it would be good to learn in case he lost his weapons during a fight.

A good workout never hurts, unless he was talking about the Nora kind.

"So much... pain... I thought my body would never fix itself." Jaune thought Pyrrha was the workout junkie, but the ginger bomber definitely took first place in the award for biggest gym rat.

With how Yang acts and how strong the blond bombshell is, maybe Jaune might bite off more then he could chew on asking to work out with her.

Oh well nothing ventured, nothing gained.

But while that is good, it might not be enough to continue forward with the Shade's training. This was frustrating to think about, the only things that he was struggling in training was some endurance, which could be covered by his aura in fighting.

However that was only the secondary issue of his fighting style.

His speed was the biggest problem, he needed to faster if he was going to fight stronger opponents or even faster Grimm. While his win was a good boost in morale three days ago, the Shade told him to not get complacent in that victory. The knight had to agree with that statement, as when he looked at the footage again from that spar he noticed himself slipping from blocking back to back strikes from both Dove and Cardin, causing him to take unnecessary hits. If he was any slower with his other blocks from the members from Team CRDL, that could of decided those matches earlier with his defeat.

Speed was a key factor in being a Huntsman, if you were faster than your opponent, you could end your fight faster without taking that damage to begin with. He especially saw that with fighters like Blake and Yang with one being speedy and evasive and the other an all out assault attacker.

But Jaune knew he couldn't use their styles, it just didn't fit him, he just needed to find a way to be faster. Maybe Blake had someway of teaching him to be more speedy, they were already 'Book buddies', what's to say she couldn't help him in this problem, the worse thing she could say is no.

Well... Maybe a slap or something would feel worse, but still he had to try!

So that was two solutions.

Well... sort of two, having Pyrrha and Yang as sparring partners and have Blake help out with his speed could help out his flaws, but it doesn't seem like its enough for the blond knight. It felt like something was missing in this equation.

"Maybe I'm looking at this in the wrong direction." Jaune muttered out, maybe physical strength training wasn't the biggest flaw of his, but what could it be?

He listened to the sweet sounds of nature as the river made its sound of rushing rapids. The fishing rod bobbed a here and there, but the knight knew that the fish were only testing the bait, more frantic tugs meant that there was a fish on the line. So the time wasn't right to reel it in.

Jaune looked at Crocea Mors in his sheath form and gave a somber smile. The sword and shield would always be with him, but he just wished that he had something else with it to help it out.

Sure his new technique really helped him out by hitting someone at a range, but he needed to continue his aura training in order to make it viable in battle.

However a strike of inspiration hit Jaune when he thought of the Skyward Strike. His face lit up like he just came up with a fantastic idea.

What if he didn't have to shoot out the Skyward Strike at a far away opponent?

If he could just get them in a closer range then he could get them for some great damage with just his regular sword swings. Maybe a combination of his physical strength and agility and technology was the answer. Crocea Mors was definitely an one of the oldest mech shift weapons in its time, maybe the old girl needs a tune up.

With that thought, he could think of a couple of possibilities for the sword and shield turned sheathe.

"Maybe... The best options are to intergrade Dust into both of them. Yeah! That sounds like a great idea!" The Arc was brainstorming, but he couldn't help but think of two kinds of dust that would help him, Gravity and Wind Dust. "It might be tricky, but with the Wind Dust I could put that into my sword to replicate the Skyward Strike, without using a ton of my aura with the strike." With that thought, the possibilities are endless for Jaune! He could be a trick or guessing fighter, using wind slashes or the sky strike, or maybe both at the same time!

He couldn't help but feel he had some kind of good idea like this.

"As for the Gravity Dust..." He already had something for his sword, now he had to figure out where to place the dust in his shield. "I could try putting them onto somewhere on the shield instead of just fusing it the entire thing with the dust." Good old Craterface would definitely be a good person to ask about weapon upgrades and other additions that he thought of.

Jaune reminiscing back to his old hunting days made him think of perhaps adding a sort of hunting bow to his arsenal to help him out in a long range situation.

That option could definitely help his team out in a pinch. Sure Pyrrha had a rifle for long range combat, Ren had his two machine gun pistols, and Nora had her grenade launcher, but Jaune wouldn't necessarily be able to help out in that situation which made him feel just... useless.

Sure everyone had their strengths and weaknesses, but Jaune wanted to cover some bases that maybe lacking for the team.

Perhaps this bow option will help in the long run. He could see himself have a magnetic brace to hold it on his back, and easily get it off his back. The quiver part might be a bit tricky, but getting some arrows will definitely be a priority. Maybe he could get different arrow tips infused with different types of dust for his quiver?

"Now THAT will definitely be brought back up the the Hero's Shade." Jaune desperately needed another opinion on this, Ruby would be his first, Pyrrha would be the second opinion, but maybe the Shade would give his approval.

Thinking about this Bow project made him giddy all inside, having dust infused arrow tips could really help out the team in many different ways and could tip their field of battle.

He could power up Nora with an Electric tipped arrow or change the terrain in their favor with Ice dust arrows against enemies, Fire Arrows would definitely burn those nasty Grimm and make the field a deterrent for others, the potential was limitless with his imagination in each kind of arrow type.

However there was one big issue with this. He needed to consult an expert on dust, someone that would be able to help him out with these designs, and how much dust would be needed for the effects that he was going for which meant...

He'd need Weiss's help.

She was an expert at Dust related topics, weapons, and all things related to it thanks to her family name in the Schnee Dust Company, but she's still... a work in progress.

He only let out an depressed sigh about that thought, he needed to talk to her for this to happen. This problem needed to get mended soon, it was already awkward enough with the last couple of times that times RWBY and JNPR met up.

Both groups were definitely the broadside of tense when they tried to get these two to get along with each other. Weiss turned the Ice Queen persona up to eleven and just gave Jaune the cold shoulder as Yang put it, and wouldn't even talk to him, while he tried anything to get her to open up to him.

Jaune was trying to talk to her normally here now! He learned his lesson of trying to flirt with her and say those stupid pick-up lines.

"Thanks a lot there dad." Jaune only thought in a complete deadpan voice. He tried so hard to court her to be his girlfriend, and now he couldn't even get full conversation out of her.

"I need to bury the hatchet with her." As much as it pains his heart to say that, he really messed up with her. He just needed to understand that Weiss Schnee just didn't like him like that and move on. In all honesty, he needed to focus on getting better at being a Huntsman first before trying to getting a hot date, especially with his new taskmaster being so strict.

At least he could admire the beauty that is the Snow Angel from afar.

"Hehe... I guess the saying look, but don't touch pertains to you Weiss doesn't it?" At this point, Jaune was hoping to at least be friends with the heiress. It just felt heartbreaking, but if you truly love something you got to set it free. That thought really made Jaune blush, he had no idea where that came from. "Must be losing it." Sure Weiss was beautiful, but it didn't mean his other friends were ugly ducklings.

Blake, Yang, and Pyrrha were beauties in their own right. He shouldn't be moping over Weiss not liking him when he has three other gorgeous ladies with him on this kickass trip. Who could say that any other dude would be able to convince three other women to help him with an assignment like this?

Nobody that's who!

"Yeah! I need to think positive about this!" Jaune pumped himself up from that little pep talk for himself.

Not noticing a presence listening the entire time, a creature that is humanoid but not of Jaune's species. The front of the body was white in coloring, all down to its shins, but the rest of the body was colored a vibrant cerulean. The creature in question wore some kind of ring neckwear with a gem like belt across his torso. But the biggest standout feature the creature had was the giant fin behind its head that was fish like in appearance.

This was a River Zora, one of the hidden protectors of this fair body of water. He was just doing a normal scouting patrol down this section to make sure nothing was being altered to the river. The scout was definitely curious to see a human this far away from the cities though, usually they don't travel out here for stuff like fishing or so the elders say.

"Must be a Huntsmen. But I wonder why this guy is so far away from civilization?" The fish man thought this blond guy was a bit on the young side, making him think he was probably just a newbie. If that was the case, he was really surprised. Zora have seen other veteran Huntsmen out in these woods, but have never been too close to them.

Their leader had specifically said not to engage with experienced ones, as they didn't want to be discovered towards the public eye for various reasons.

But the scout shook his head, this guy was just a little minnow, he wouldn't be that big of a threat if he had to engage him in combat.

In fact, all the Zora saw was this guy doing was a little harmless fishing, he could see all of the Valen Bass and Greengill look curiously at the lure that he casted out. One of the bigger Greengill got a little too curious and bit the special little lure, causing the thing to get jerked and try and fight off the offending lure.

"Looks like the minnow is gonna catch a big one today." The Zora smiled out, he didn't really mind people fishing, just so long as they didn't go overboard with taking them from Zora waters, they still needed to catch fish for their hidden Domain. But it looks like the goddesses are going to be shining on this young lad today.

However... The Zora's yellow eyes also saw something bad going towards the fighting fish. A little pile of seaweed rapidly approaching the fish on the line from underneath the gravel ground.

"Oh for Hylia's sake..." The Zora groaned out as he saw the offending creature. It was an Water Octorok, they were big annoyances for their stealth and strain on Zora ecosystems by gobbling up fish and turn tail and running. Sure one octorok wasn't a big deal, but have two or three and they can dry up the fish breeding grounds around here if left too long in one area.

Judging by the big balloon head on this blue pest, that signified this was definitely well fed on other bigger fish. "Well at least I have something to do here." The Zora got his combat spear ready to skewer the offending monster. However before he could swim towards the monster, the octopus looked hungry and went to suck up the fish on the line, causing the offending monster to get yanked as well.

"Oh this is not good." The Zora said as he noticed the octorok was actually getting pulled out of the gravel ground, which surprised the sentry. He didn't think that the kid could be strong enough to pull an full grown octorok out of its habitat.

"COME ON! I THINK I GOT A BIGGUN THIS TIME!" Jaune was very surprised to feel the constant tugs so early, but he wasn't going to complain! This was very strange though it seems the fight was pretty tough at first, but now this was a struggle for the blond knight. "I'VE GOT YOU ON THE ROPES! I'M NOT GONNA LET YOU GO, THE OTHERS ARE COUNTING ON ME TO BRING HOME THE FOOD!" Jaune shouted out using all of his normal strength, he could feel the fight leaving the catch but it was still going strong.

"Come on! I need one more push!" He decided do something crazy and use his aura slightly to amplify his strength, in all honesty it seemed a little embarrassing to do something like that just for fishing, but Jaune was determined to catch something and Oum damned him if he was going lose to a stinking fish.

With one last grunt of effort and use of aura, the catch of the evening revealed itself to the blonde. With water rising up and the catch casting a shadow, Jaune quickly moved out of the way.

"WHOA!" He managed to move out of the way of the monster that landed on the ground. "Holy crap, I was expecting a big catch but nothing like this." Jaune said out as the offending octorok narrowed its yellow eyes and quickly spit out the lure in its mouth with the giant fish flopping on the end of it. "Cool looks like I catch a big sized Greengill, along with something extra. Blake's gonna love this." Jaune went to real in his catch, but there was a big octopus blocking his line with a girthy tentacle slapped on the end.

"Hey!" Jaune looked at the offending appendage with narrowed eyes, "This is my catch find your own." Jaune said to the monster, but that only made it more angry.

The octorok in question didn't like that answer at all, plus being pulled in for dinner. That was too many strikes for the monsters liking. The big head on the monster inflated to a big sized as the octorok in question leaned its body back and in an instant shot out a spiky rock towards the blond.

"Yikes!" Jaune was luckily fast enough roll away from the projectile towards his weapon. He unfolded his sheath into a shield just in time for another rock launching towards him. His shield arm was holding strong as the rock smashed against the front of the shield, shattering the projectile completely. But that didn't stop the slimy octopus as it continued to shoot rocks at a much faster pace.

All that was doing was annoying the blond, "Hey, quit it you jerk!" But all that response was met with was more rocks.

"Alright you asked for this." Jaune concentrated on his sword arm and lifted his sword to the sky to charge his attack. After the short wait Crocea Mors was now giving off a bluish glow to show it was fully charged, Jaune was now ready for a counterattack. However a certain fishman was watching this confrontation with wide eyes, seeing the technique with baited breath under the river.

The octorok didn't care about what the human was doing as it continued its assault. But it had to stop for a second to cool down on shooting its rocks. That was the worst decision as Jaune chose to fire the Skyward Strike beam at the offending creature.

"Take this you overgrown calamari!" The blond fired the beam in a horizontal arch and at a blazing speed. The octorok tried to put up its tentacles to block it, but it was no use. The arms of the creature were slashed through by the beam.

the slimy monster made a noise of extreme pain as its arms were literally cut to pieces and plastered on the grassy floor.

Jaune taking this chance of distraction as his opening, closed the distance quick against the monster. He finished this little skirmish with a focused horizontal slashing combo on the offending monster. The octorok in question stood no chance as it cried out and crumpled to the floor, dead from all of its slash wounds.

"Glad that's over." Jaune sighed out as he went to go secure his prized fish catch, he observed the whopper of a catch and saw it was a big one, just eyeballing the thing he could say it was 10 inches at least, a good sized one. However Jaune went to obviously check on the main issue he had.

The blond looked at the dead octopus monster and grimaced, this thing was pretty nasty looking. It actually surprised him at first to see something like this.

Because this monster is in one of the archives in The Book Of Mudora.

"I just can't believe that the book was telling the truth." Jaune just chuckled out as he just kept looking at the monster, he went to touch the giant head and prodded it with his sword tip. "Blake's gonna flip when I bring this thing for food." He remembered the book said you could cook these Octoroks for some delicious kinds of dishes, the arms especially were the best edible part of an octorok.

When his sword tip touched the head, the body had a reaction as the whole thing shuddered. Then after a few seconds the mouth of the monster coughed up something that surprised Jaune.

Four more good sized, fresh looking Greengill fish. Hell they looked like they were just out of the water for a couple of minutes.

But Jaune wasn't going to look at gif horse in the mouth, his face turned into a beaming smile when he saw this fortune.

With all of these fish and some of the tentacles from the Octorok being gathered by him, he definitely has enough food for the group. With Crocea Mors put into his belt and his fishing rod condensed and put back into one of his pouches on his belt, he made his trek back with his bounty of fish and octorok arms in his possession.

"To the victor go the spoils." All of these fish in Jaune's opinion were enough, they looked the range of 8-10 inches. Good enough for eating and definitely good enough for him to end his fishing trip for. "And these arms are gonna be delicious... When I figure out what to do them." Jaune didn't think it would go well with the fish stew he was going to make tonight.

"I hope Yang got that campfire ready, because we are gonna be eating good tonight." The blond with a smile on his face as he completed his mission, albeit with a slight hiccup on the way.

However he never noticed the hidden presence's of the Zora that was in the water.

The scout couldn't believe it, this kid just treated that pest like it was nothing, and that beam attack...

He's been told stories of legends when he was small minnow himself that 'special' kinds of humans could use that technique, but it was rare among the species. Only the elders and some legendary warriors were able to see the full power of that strike, but he never thought that he himself would see a legendary attack like that in his lifetime.

"I... I must report this to my superiors." The Zora scout shook off his surprise to tell his scout commander. "Seems these minnows are more capable then we thought." He swam with all his might against the stream to quickly get back to Zora's Domain and tell the news to his commanding officer.

(With Yang)

(Music: Kingdom Hearts II ~Fields Of Honor~)

All Yang saw with her magenta eyes is the first blue moronic monster charge at her, roaring with its Oum awful smelling breath that offended her nostrils. Adding on to her shitlist of these terrible creatures.

She growled out and let her fist fly out to met these creatures, her anger rising against these things.

BAM!

The sounds of impact happened as the lead Bokoblin was sent back from the barking of Ember Celica. The offending monster was hit with the full power of the buckshot from the armored gauntlets and her incoming fist, letting out a cry of pain and agony. The creature was laid out on the forest floor after skidding across the floor from the force, the first victim of Yang Xiao Long's fury.

But that did not deter the others as they went to swing their swords at the blonde. She only scoffed that the idiots only attacked with two of them! They should of sent the rest at her if they were going have any attempt of taking her down!

Yang blocked the offending weapons with ease with her gauntlets. The Bokoblins weren't ready for the consequences as their faces were met with more buckshot, stunning them and making the two stumble away.

Another Bokoblin tried to step up when Yang was distracted with the other two engaged in combat, but that costed him as Yang just saw him as her next victim. Her hands were upon this monster as she was smashing her balled up fists into whatever place was available. This one was getting the full physical power of Yang's hand to hand combat.

Blow after blow met this Bokoblin. The last one went to attack her while she was wailing on her friend, but she wasn't worried as that one tried to hit her only to gracefully dodge the wooden sword, and met the monster with hard kick knocking it back and away from the fight. The brawler continued her assault on the other one hearing its cries of pain as she continued her assault on the injured one. The thing was on its last legs so she finished off with a fierce haymaker to the mouth, its remaining teeth come flying from Yang's savage hit and hitting the ground with a resounding thud.

The two hit with buckshot earlier were finally back from the attack, screaming in rage and sprinting towards the offending woman. This time they both leaped towards her back hoping to get her this time. But all it did was made them easy targets as the Dragon of Vale pivoted and blasted both of them with another shotgun round, sending them flying back and flopping onto the ground.

The Bulblin's were definitely nervous now as they were down to their last minion, but they had to do something for this fight otherwise they were as good as dead.

"Quick Dum-Dum! Use chaos horn! Summon!" The mace bulblin said to the axe one frantically, as they witnessed the last remaining Bokoblin getting demolished by an overhead punch to the cranium, body eating the dirt from the impact and not getting up anytime soon.

"Now that I taken care of the ugly smurfs, you two green assholes are next." Yang said toward the two, slowly walking the two feeling confident that she could easily take these two jobbers. But she needs to be quick if she wanted to find the last one goblin and save that little tree guy. "Let's make this quick fellas, gotta find the real leader here." She said as she cracked her knuckles.

"Hurry!" The mace one said, as he got his weapon ready for combat.

The other one only nodded and pulled out a small blowhorn from its side. The bulblin put the appendage to his face and blew the horn. The noise reverberated around the forest area, going for miles.

The loud horn made Yang cover her ears from how obnoxious the noise was. "What the hell do you goblins just do! That nearly blew out my damn eardrums!" But the two offending creatures just chuckled out loud, pissing off the blond even more. "Something funny huh? Well, I'LL SHOW YOU FUNNY!" Yang went to charge at the mace wielding Bulblin and give him a taste of a gauntlet knuckle sandwich, but the little goblin blocked her attack with his weapon at the last second. Then Yang followed up with another strike only for the Bulblin to block again, and the two were starting to counter blow for blow in a fast attack pattern, neither side taking a hit.

While the combat was continuing between the two, a dark aura surrounded the clearing around them. Dark matter forming things without the brawlers notice.

While one was nearly down creating the form of a plant, another was taking the form of a big spider, another was creating the creatures Yang just put down.

One by one, monsters were being created around her, slowly but surely growing in number.

(Music Paused)

"Wow Blake, this book is very interesting." Pyrrha smiled out towards the faunus girl. "These other races are so unique and different from each other. These Goron's are sentient creatures made of rock. They love eating rocks and have competitive Goron roll racing and sumo competitions to test strength and speed!" Pyrrha read out, which only made Blake shake her head and smile at Pyrrha's excitement.

The cat faunus was surprised that the Mistralian girl would like the book at all, it seemed boring to the average reader, but then again Pyrrha was an mystery to the her sometimes, so it was good to know that she liked the book.

She just hoped she wasn't too into it, Blake didn't want her start getting those awful dreams she is getting.

"While I like all of the races of Hyrule differently, especially those cute little Korok's. They look so adorable!" She gushed a little at the tree saplings, only making Blake sweat drop from that comment, guess some people have differences in cute things and Pyrrha was one of them. "I think my favorite race to read about are the Zoras."

"Their culture life is intriguing, running on fish and other seafood as their diet." Pyrrha continued and Blake only licked her lips on that comment, these people knew that fish and all other kinds of sea life were the king of food. "But it also says their are different types of Zoras in this book as well." Blake was surprised by that comment. Blake must of felt a bit sleepy when skimming over that part of the book because she didn't recall reading that.

Her curiosity had her lean into Pyrrha and check out the info tablet and she was right! There different info tablets on the Zoras, their descriptions and looks were different. The one called River Zoras had plain colors with white in the center of their bodies and the outsides of their figure had a just one solid color whether it was grey, blue, red, and yellow color. The other Zora species were definitely different, the Ocean Zora had different coloring, it was like their bodies were in a constant sea green or coastal texture and their scale patterns held most of the different darker colors compared to the mostly white body.

Swamp Zoras however were completely different looking compared to their counterparts. Unlike the sleek athletic looking Ocean and River Zoras these ones had a primitive feeling to them, the description said they were sub species of the original Zoras and decided to stay in their watery marshes to use the old ways of water magic, but as time went on they went mad and the insanity drove them to become violent to anyone that they came across, even their own kind.

If Blake had to compare them to anything they looked like your average sea horror movie monster you saw in your horror flick. They had three fins on the side of their heads and a nasty looking scowl on their face with a slimy green color that made the cat faunus and Mistral girl shiver. "That Swamp Zora looks very friendly," Blake said sarcastically said as Pyrrha just giggled.

"You can say that again." Pyrrha agreed with Blake wholeheartedly. "But, I see that each Zora species seems to specialize in some form of task compared to the others, and when the time comes they all go to compete against each other in a sort of competition after four years of training." Pyrrha's eyes widen from this, she couldn't believe a sentient race like this competed just like her, in a sort of competitive sport. "But these 'Zora Games' as they have been called don't just focus on one-on-one combat!" Pyrrha was excited, these games pushed the Zora race into being not only innovative but entertaining at the same time.

Swimming races, giant eel capturing, water magic summoning, fish catching relays, team fighting competitions, the list goes on and on with these games. It was almost like these fish people knew about the fighting teams that the humans had here in Remnant. Blake was shocked as well, the cat faunus saw the similarities that Huntsmen and Huntresses had during the Vytal Festival.

"Wow, this book is so detailed in its description. If this was true, think of all the wonderful things we could learn about that the people of Remnant were never told." Pyrrha was very impressed with this piece of literature, she wanted to ask Jaune or Blake if she could read along side them in the future.

But a certain cat faunus was having some other worrying thoughts. "But if that is true..." Blake whispered in disbelief and her yellow eyes slowly widening. If the history of this book is truly real that Jaune has been telling, maybe the humans and faunus have been influenced somehow to by these Zora's to have these types of festivals long ago. It was fascinating to think about, but also troublesome in her eyes.

Because if all of this history was true then...

Blake and Pyrrha's thoughts and musings were interrupted by the loud sound of horn blowing, Blake winced at the annoying noise thanks to her stellar hearing in her faunus ears.

"What was that?" Pyrrha said to the cat faunus.

"I don't know..." Blake just had a bad feeling about that noise, something in her gut just told her that trouble was afoot. "But what I do know is that it came from where Yang was headed." The cat faunus just couldn't fight this foreboding feeling as she got up and grabbed Gambol Shroud and her new items from the store. "I'm going to go check it out, something tells me that Yang might be in trouble if we don't go." Pyrrha nodded and quickly followed her example by getting up and ready to follow Blake.

"Are you sure it isn't just Yang blowing off some steam?" The red headed girl questioned.

"I don't know... I just... I have a bad feeling about this." Blake looked at the ground only to feel a hand on her shoulder, Pyrrha next to her and nodded her head.

"Alright, you lead the way." Pyrrha got her spear and shield on her person and the duo quickly made haste, running into the forest towards the sound.

After a couple of minutes, Jaune finally returned and saw the camp, the sun at his back and starting to set.

"Hey girls! I brought back a good haul today! I hope you got that fire ready!" Jaune shouted out, bringing his tasty looking haul for everyone to enjoy, he couldn't wait to see the look on their faces, he bet Blake would be salivating after all the fish he caught today.

But when he looked around he noticed no one at was here.

"Where did they go?" He questioned out loud, the blond teen noticed that where he put his cooking supplies there still wasn't any firewood. "Yang still hasn't come back yet with the wood." Jaune just looked puzzled, he knew Yang could be a little slow with things, but she'd never procrastinate this long with just firewood.

Jaune didn't like this... Something must have come up. That's probably why Blake and his partner left, to check out the situation.

"If that's the case, then I know that she'll be alright." Both Blake and Yang were top fighters in the 1st years, they shouldn't have any trouble taking care of any Grimm, plus Pyr was the best fighter he knew.

The blond let out a sigh and set down his fish and other spoils "Calm down... they'll be fine. Once they help Yang with whatever she's dealing with, we will all have a nice dinner." The blond told himself, but he just couldn't help but worry about his friends. He would chase after them, but the sun is pretty low and he could get lost in these lush woods.

Speaking of wood, since Yang hasn't returned with any, its up to him to obtain it for the cooking tonight.

"Well it shouldn't be too hard." He said as he went to go get some short sticks to put under the cooking pot.

(Same time in the woods)

The remaining Bulblin raised his head from the sound of a Chaos Horn being blown. He heard and growled out his frustration as the sound came from where he just was.

"Idiots! Must have gotten slagged if Dum-Dums needed Chaos Horn." He needed to find that stupid tree brat, otherwise he was as good as dead. The Korok in question however saw the Bulblin and squeaked in terror.

Luckily he was able to spot the little creature. It didn't look like it gotten too far away. He got out his bow and shot towards the little brat.

"Oh no... He found me!" The little guy said he was going to try and run away. But a flaming arrow this time scared the hell out of the little guy, stopping him in his tracks for his own safety.

"You stay there tree baby, or I'll turn you to ash." Which made the little one cry in fear once more. The lead bulblin closed in on the Korok, steel hammer in hand "Now you answer me question or else I smash you to pieces." The green creature's red eyes struck a bolt of fear into the little guy once more.

"Where. is. Armos. Knight."

(Back with Yang)

(Music Continue)

The fight was actually going pretty well for a few seconds there for the Bulblin fighting Yang. It was matching blow for blow and managing to fight back for a few seconds.

Emphasis on a few seconds.

Then the other shoe dropped...

Yang was tearing the green goblin apart with shot after shot against him with body blows. The Bulblin was in extreme pain after all of that, holes filled with dark green blood scattered across his body from the shotgun shots.

The finishing blow came as a certain gauntleted fist collided with his face, but that wasn't the end as his whole body was lifted up and plowed into the ground by said fist, making a small crater from how much strength that punch held. The Bulblin only let out his final noisy raddle before he was motionless in the crater.

Yang would have admired her work, but she heard a whistle in the air and saw a flaming arrow on the fast track of impact. She quickly dodged it to look at the axe wielder was quickly shooting another arrow at her.

The brawler easily saw that one and dodged that as well with a side roll, her momentum now focused on the only fighter left. The brawler was quick to close the distance before the little goblin was able to dock another arrow.

With no time to grab his axe and defend as Yang was already on him, the Bulbin thrusted his bow out, hoping that it would defend him. But to no avail as Yang smashed the bow to pieces from the high velocity punch and landed her fist in the green creature's stomach. The goblin's red eyes widening from pain as the point blank shotgun round blew him away, taking him off his feet to send him flying.

The Bulblin landed where the cratered Bulblin was, motionless from brutal fisting of Yang Xiao Long.

After calming down a bit and finishing off those two morons, she assessed the situation happening around her, and only saw the two bodies of the Bulblins left on the field. Those other five monsters just up and disappeared from the ground, which only left her confused, shouldn't there be five more bodies on the ground?

But she shook her head, that wasn't important right now, she needed to stay on task and find that little tree fella.

"Alright! Now that these punks are taken care of I need to..." She would have finished her sentence, but her lilac eyes noticed something troublesome.

Seems the reinforcements for these baddies just arrived as she now saw ten more of those ugly blue monsters again, plus she noticed some of the plant life coming alive, these weird blue and orange with black striped bulbs with jagged teeth were all over the forest ground, along some of the tree branches, hell they even grew on the tree bases. They were snapping their jaws in anticipation and they didn't look friendly at all.

"Jeez what has the gardener been feeding those things." This was definitely uncharted territory for Yang, all of these monsters don't look familar to her at all when fighting Grimm. Like these blue goblins, these weird carnivorous plants, and she's definitely not seen arachnids this huge!

The biggest enemies were these huge ass spiders that were literally human sized. She couldn't believe that spiders would get that big, she almost mistaken it for a grimm with their skull like symbols on their thorax. The spiders flexed their fangs, green compound eyes looking at her like she was their dinner, with fangs clicking in anticipation.

Yang just grinned at the situation though, no matter how many of these monsters surrounded her she was ready for combat. "Guess you creeps want some of the Yang too?" She punched the air a couple of times before punching her fist into an open palm. "Don't worry the Xiao Long café is open for business, and I got some knuckle sandwiches for all of you!" She quipped as she was in the middle of an entire monster pack, being surrounded in a circle full of Skulltulas, Bokoblins, and Deku Babas by the minute.

With that said she proceeded to start firing her gauntlets, tearing apart the first big Skulltula as it faded into nothing but dark matter. But another big spider took its place to lunge at Yang with its large fangs.

The brawler hopped back from it just to jump towards one of the Deku Babas on the ground. The blue plant struck and snapped its teeth at Yang and actually bit her left arm. Her aura felt the hit, but it wasn't anything horrible.

"Hey! My arm is not on the menu!" Yang got her revenge on the offending bulb by punching its head clean off the stem, sending its head flying and killing the plant.

"Damnit that bite actually stung slightly." Yang hissed out as she was on alert and saw two Bokoblins about to charge her, followed up by that same Skulltula that tried to bite her.

"No more holding back." Yang gritted her teeth as her hair turned fiery and her eyes were a full blood red from activating her Semblance. She let out a battle cry and smashed the two offending blue monsters with full force, flinging them across the forest clearing.

After that, this skirmish felt like a blur to Yang.

Shotgun shells littering the forest floor as she kept firing against the circle of monsters that kept attacking her. Nothing was safe from Yang's onslaught, Bokoblin's falling from either the spread of fiery buckshot, Deku Babas heads taken off the stems to shrivel up and die or completely obliterated, Skulltula bodies torn apart from Ember Celica's shotty rounds or from the fire dragons fist alone.

She felt some hits with some of the Skulltulas biting her and lowering her aura and couple of baba heads getting a few licks, but immediately smashed the annoying perpetrators that caused her that pain.

She paid back the horde of arachnids and evil plants with her flaming fists of fury, taking spider limbs and thoraxes apart with her punches alone. Yang knew when she was finished with the creepy crawlies when she heard the sickening crunch of the exoskeleton being pulverized and the monster was no longer moving, it was gross but it felt good to get rid of the giant spiders and her anger out.

Yang was grateful that these bastards kept away from her hair, she would have gone ballistic if anything happened to her golden locks of beauty.

After about couple of minutes of destroying these creatures, the blonde was starting to get a little tired, her aura was starting to dip a tad from the continuous fighting of these monsters and using her semblance. She chalked it up from all of the traveling and hiking today, plus the hits she was taking made her feel like she was getting sloppy in her fighting technique.

But it didn't matter to the brawler currently. She kept fighting like a true warrior, her blood was pumping with excitement from all of this fighting. This was the kind of fun she was looking for! Forget all of those clubs and gangsters and the nasty negative Grimm. These guys were way more fun to smash and grind to dust.

Yang just couldn't help herself when she activated her semblance. Its like everything fades around her, like a shroud around her mind and makes her focus on the one thing that's important...

Beating the ever living shit out of anything that crosses her path.

Sure these guys and those other monsters were pushovers, but there were a lot of them now. The monsters growling out their bloodlust.

"Oh well... That just means more asses to kick!" Yang thought as she used Ember Celica as boosters and used a Bokoblin as a surfboard and shot around her, nailing more monsters with the fiery shells from her gauntlets.

Her punches were efficient when she was shooting her gauntlets as Bokoblins and Deku Babas were being completely annihilated from her fists. She didn't see the end to these guys, but that was ok for the brawler, that just meant more fun.

But if she was paying attention, she would have seen more then one Bokoblin coming at her within her blind spot.

She just finished another big Skulltula spider, when she noticed a couple of shadows too late. Her lilac eyes widen as the three Bokoblins let out a yell of anger, desperate to behead the blonde beauty.

Yang was about to accept the punishing blows for her mistake. But when the monsters were about to slash her to pieces with their swords, they let out a cry of pain as a very familiar kusarigama slashed at all three of them in midair and took them out of commission.

She saw a familiar dusky figure from the crowd of monsters, along with another figure already hacking away at the outer circles of monsters.

"Blake!" Red eyes met golden ones as the cat faunus jumped over the remaining enemies to join her partner in the thick of battle in the middle.

"Yang are you alright?" The cat faunus asked her partner, holding Gambol Shroud now in sword form with her cleaver in her other hand.

"Having the time of my life here Blakey." Winking at her partner, sort of out of breath from all the fighting. "How'd you find me so fast?" Yang shot another round, destroying another Bokoblin.

Blake however cleaved a Skulltula's legs into pieces with fast swipes of her sword and cut its head off with her sharp cleaver, finishing off the stumpy spider and putting it out of its misery with slashes to its face. "I heard that annoying horn noise in the woods. Had a bad feeling about it and I heard the direction it was coming from was where you took off to find wood." Blake explained as she went to take out another Bokoblin around them.

"So I went to check it out and Pyrrha tagged along, only to see you fighting an entire army of monster, and haven't burnt the entire forest down with your fire dust ammo." Blake said as she quickly dispatched a stationary Deku Baba by cutting its head clean off. "How'd you piss off these... things anyway?" Blake would have been more surprised and definitely more shocked of the appearance of these monsters even existing, but she had to keep up the act of not knowing anything and talk to Jaune about this with the book actually telling the truth.

The monsters in the book... They were real...

"Oh no... That means..." A bolt of fear shot through Blake's spine. The guardians in dream, they were real. They could be out there in the world, in this very forest!

They could attack any of her friends at any time while she was the only one to know about them.

She needed to warn them! Needed to get the message out to them right away so they could avoid those death machines as much as possible.

But for now they needed to get out of this monster horde alive.

"I saw this little tree guy, he was about to be assaulted by these creeps." Yang blasted another Skulltula, tearing into its body with her gauntlet shotguns and then finishing it off by smashing its head. "Ew... gross.." Yang got some gore on her hands and shook off the bloody residue. "Luckily I was there to stop them before any harm came to the small fry. But there's still one more green goblin after him, we gotta take care of these guys Blake and fast!" Yang's partner nodded in agreement and readied her weapons.

The mob of monsters was starting to thin out more thanks to Blake and Pyrrha's intervention as the Cereal Girl was a whirlwind of destruction. Slashing the big spiders to bits, firing and stabbing Bokoblins and Deku Babas left and right. She was like force of nature against these monsters and they couldn't seem to hit her as she was graceful as a swan and as deadly as a feral tiger.

Blake knew that the Invincible Girl could take care of herself, in fact the majority of the forces were starting to go towards the Spartan girl to try and overwhelm her with their numbers, but it never deterred her as she continued to pick off Bokoblins and Skulltulas.

"Damn, guess Pyrrha has taken the heat off of us here." Yang's eyes widened, the brawler was always wondering why the red head girl was so strong. Now she was seeing it first hand. "In the meantime let's make a path and try and fin-" Blake heard her partner, but her ears underneath her bow twitched as she heard a familiar sound in the forest.

It sounded like the creature that talked to her last night in her dreams... A Korok!

"What is it doing here?" Blake whispered out, she remembered what Yang said and remembered that these monsters were after for some reason or what not.

With no time to lose, she tried to focus and block out all the other sounds around her to hear its cries, trying to pinpoint where the loudest sound was coming from.

Her ears twitched as she heard the little guy again, it didn't sound that far away from where the thing was, but with the way it is calling out constantly it sounds like the little tree sapling is in trouble!

Blake, with her mind made up sprinted towards the sounds direction and decided to pull out the hookshot, with the pull of the trigger the chain loaded spearhead hit a faraway tree branch with a resounding 'THUNK', latching on with a firm hold.

She pressed the pull button to send her flying over the heads of the rest of the monsters and Pyrrha, holding their attention before they were sent flying from their mistake by taking their eyes off of the Mistrial champion.

"BLAKE! Where are you going!?" Yang questioned, wondering why her partner is running away. Blake using her superior flexibility and balance landed on one of the higher tree branches.

"I heard that 'little tree dude' you were talking about with my ears. I'm going to go save that little guy from getting killed." Blake said with a serious face, but then smirked a bit with a smug smile plastered on her face. "I'm sure you can take care of the rest with Pyrrha here to help?"

"Wait, let me go with you." Yang said.

But the cat faunus shook her head, "There's no time, I heard his terrified cries. He might be getting tortured as we speak and with this hookshot item I have, I can bypass a lot of the foliage and monsters here. You're better at taking on full scale brawls Yang, once your done just meet up with me." Blake looked back at her partner, hoping to go along with her plan.

"I can't just let you run off like that Blake!"

"Please Yang!"

They both looked at each other for a bit after that outburst. "Please...Trust me Yang... I'll save him." Blake said with determination to reassure her partner.

After a few seconds of silence from the brawler, she gave her got a smirk. "Alright Kit Kat! Hurry up save the little guy, we're right behind you once me and Pyrrha are done here!" With that said, Blake smiled at her one last time before disappeared into the slowly darkening forest, hooking onto another tree with her new item.

"Be careful partner... and good luck." Yang thought as she saw another Bokoblin getting tossed out of the thinning circle by the red haired champion. Yang checked her gauntlets and still had plenty of ammo left for these clowns, then she looked at the small circle that was surrounding her and gave off her bloodthirsty smile, eyes becoming red once again.

"Hey! Save some for me P-Money!" The last couple of Bokoblins and Skulltulas blocked her path to the Cereal girl, but that didn't bother Yang in the slightest. "You better pray to Oum or whatever deity you have you bastards! Mama's got her second wind and its gonna blow all you shrimps away!" With that said, Yang charged forward and fists ready to bring the pain once again.

(Music End)

(With Blake)

Blake dropped to the ground with a forward roll and quickly moved into the brush of the forest. The little Korok's noises were getting louder, signifying that she was pretty close now as she could also hear the grunts and grumbling of another person next to the little guy.

She slowed down and tried to silently move in the bushes. She opened a hole in the bush to see the little sapling crying out as a fire arrow was held above it.

"Just like in the dream... This is unbelievable." If she didn't think the book was telling the truth now, the proof was right in front of her.

A living Korok was in front of her, she turned her head towards its tormentor to see a green looking goblin, it seems like she was correct and the Bulblin in question was about to set the little guy ablaze.

She needed to act fast, otherwise that little guy was as good as dead.

"Just need to wait for the right moment." She had Gambol Shroud ready to go.

"Tell me tree baby... For the last time. WHERE'S THE ARMOS!" The Bulblin held the blazing arrow, the heat licking over the terrified little creature.

"I... I can't tell you! Father told me to never tell about any secrets to monsters!" The Korok cried out, which only made the Hammer Bulblin chuckle darkly. The goblin's patience has finally reached its breaking point.

"Then... guess you expandable." He lifted his arm, about to stab the arrow into the little forest dweller.

"Now!" She sprinted towards the two and jumped with her boot out in a flying kick.

Blake hit paydirt as the green monsters body took a heavy kick from the heeled boot at a full sprint. Connecting that kick made the Bulblin bounce off the ground and hit the dirt again, rolling in absolute pain from the impact and away from the tree pinning the Korok.

The goblin was bit disoriented, trying to shake off the attack and growled at the newcomer that interfered.

But Blake didn't want him to get a chance to breathe, as she immediately followed up with Gambol Shroud in her pistol form, the pistol making its presence known by unleashing savage rounds into its foe. The Bulblin was down for the count as the six bullets pierced his body, the final shot hit the green goblin in the head, blowing the body back and killing the green menace for good, hitting the ground with a loud thud.

Blake let out a sigh from that and checked out the victim of that Bulblin's torture. "Are you ok little guy?" Blake asked softly and went over to the shivering little Korok. "I took care of that guy for you, are you hurt anywhere?" She went to inspect him to make sure he didn't have any injuries.

"N-N-No... I'm o-o-ok..." He kept shivering in fear of the newcomer.

Blake sighed out in relief and put Gambol Shroud back in her sheath, "Good. I'm glad your safe little one." gave the little sapling a small smile to let him know she meant no harm.

The small Korok finally stopped shivering to notice the Bulblin not standing over him and a new person hovering over him to make sure he was ok.

"Is... Is he gone?" The Korok said with fear laced in his small voice.

"Yeah, I took care of him." Blake reassured the tree folk as she shrugged over and pointed towards the body, motionless for him to see.

"Thank... Thank you for saving me Fauni girl." The Korok mentioned, which definitely surprised her as she had her bow on her head and wouldn't think this guy would just figure it out right away.

"You must be mistaken little guy, I'm not a faunus." Blake replied back.

"No you are definitely a fauni, your smell is slightly different of that of a human, more animal in nature like the ones in the trees." the Korok deduced, but didn't notice the slightly raised ire of his company from that conclusion.

Did this little shit just imply that she smelled like an animal?

"Excuse me!?" Blake was a little peeved from that comment.

"F-Father tells us that there is a different odor compared to fauni and humans, something about... a certain animal smell?" The korok finished with a nervous stutter from her little outburst, but Blake just felt more offended from the comment.

"Okay... Now that was just rude." The cat faunus had a scowl on her face, hands on her hips and giving the little tree sap a scathing look.

"OH. I am so sorry, I didn't mean to offend you like that." The small korok's green leafed head started bowing towards her for an apology. "Please forgive me, our father usually has the answers to these kinds of issues and... oh..." He was still feeling the shock from that confrontation of almost being a tinder box. Blake realizing that she was just making the little guy nervous just relaxed and took a breath to loosen up her tense muscles, he apologized and was still feeling frazzled.

She needed to get some answers from the little guy and being hostile will definitely not get her anywhere.

"Its alright, just don't go saying that again." she sighed out, in which the little guy just nodded his head in understanding. "Let's start over, my name is Blake. How about you, what's your name?" the cat faunus introduced herself to the small sapling.

"My name is Deklu. Its nice to meet you Faunus Blake." The little guy introduced, "Again I can't thank you enough for saving my life, I am in your debt." The little one just bowed.

"No problem, just... try not to go spreading around the forest that I am a faunus though. I have this bow on for a reason." Blake said.

"I assure you my lips are sealed." Deklu reassured the cat faunus, which was good enough for her.

"How did you get in this situation in the first place?" Blake questioned, this could be a good time to gather some answers. The group could use some information on what's going on.

Jaune would probably understand the situation when she explains what happened, but Pyrrha will still be confused as she has barely went through the book and Yang will be just lost if Blake tried to explain the history of Hyrule all in one sitting. The cat faunus trusted her partner to throw a punch and fight, but learning and accepting an entire new history that was lost to time in a few hours would probably just fly over her head.

Hell, Blake was still trying to come to terms with her whole dream sequence with psychotic killer laser robots and seeing these little Korok's in the flesh definitely didn't help her anxiety on that front.

However, this little guy could also get some answers on what happened in her dream, maybe she could get some insight on the guardians, anything from weapons to weaknesses will definitely be crucial for her groups survival if Oum forbid they come across an active unit. But she needed to play it cool for now, these questions can't be too invasive otherwise she could scare him off.

"When I was out in the woods, our father was in need of some herbs for a healing potion I needed to make for him. Its for his daily root treatment, have to keep those deku roots strong." Now that confused Blake slightly, roots for his father? Did he mean tree roots?

"I was on my way from our clans usual village to the outskirts of the forest, until I found the herbs I was looking for a couple of minutes later." Deklu continued. "When I was picking, three of those Bulblins and a couple of nasty Bokoblins surrounded me, threatening to kill me if I didn't comply with them." Now that didn't make any sense, why would they just threatened a random little Korok? It had to be for some reason.

"I overheard him yelling about something called 'Armos' before I got here, do you have any idea what he was looking for?" The cat faunus faintly recalled something in the Book of Mudora, and the name Armos did pop up slightly in the Sheikah's history of machines.

"Well..." Deklu wasn't too sure if he should tell her, father did say not to let strangers know about the secrets of the forest.

But considering that she did just save him from certain death, the Korok suppose he could let her know.

"You don't have to tell me if you can't." Blake said.

"No. I think you deserve to know." Deklu sighed out.

"That Bulblin was looking for an old machine called an Armos Knight here in the Emerald Forest." Deklu explained. "They were left here from the old war long ago. Father tells me that they are hidden in the deep wooded area, along with other ancient technology hidden beneath the earth." Now that got Blake curious and concerned.

"What do you mean by that?" She might not like his anwser, but she needed to know.

"Plenty of old tech sometimes gets lost or forgotten in these woods. Back when the older machines were corrupted and the war across Remnant was at its end, multiple Armos and other machines started to power down and gone into a hibernation mode."

"Our father told us Koroks that they haven't moved ever since they've shut down, however he told us they could still be activated. " Which caused Blake's eyes to widen in shock, fear was starting to fill her once more as there was only one conclusion she could come to when thinking about old machines.

"You mean like Guardians?" she said softly.

"Yes. Father has talked about them, how all of us Korok children should stay away from them and the Armos Knights. They are too unpredictable and could be activated by anyone near them." Deklu said, shivering from just talking about them.

"Have you seen any active ones? Do you know where they are?" Blake was now frantic in her questioning, startling the green leafed creature.

"N-No... Not that I know of, nobody has activated them yet. Neither the Armos or the scouts are either." Deklu stuttered out mostly because of her sudden outburst scared him.

"Scouts?" Blake questioned, she did not like the sound of that.

"They are like smaller guardians, the Sheikah made them to protect important areas they turned corrupted at the same time the big guardians did. The Armos Knights came last as they were more the replacement for the previous machines, but more simple in design." Deklu explained.

Its a good thing that she questioned this little guy, now she knew of not one, but three death machines that could take the lives of her and her friends if they are not careful.

Lovely...

"The universe just loves to torment me huh..." Blake thought negatively, but quickly shook off those feelings.

"Our father said that usually important items of history could be found when Scouts are near and not to disturb those grounds." The Korok rubbed his little arms together and hopped slightly.

This info set alarm bells in Blake's head. This was big! They could pinpoint where they needed to go. "Can you tell me where they are? This could help us out big time Deklu." The cat faunus pleaded.

"Wait. can't just tel-"

"Hey Blake! Where are you at girl! We finished up those chumps!" Blake heard the sound of her partner yelling out in the forest.

"Uh oh... I think its time for me to go Blake." Deklu explained as he got up and started to move towards the thick bush to disappear.

"Wait! I still need some questions answered!" Blake frantically tried to get him to stay, but the Korok just shook his head.

"I'm sorry, but I really have to get going. Father will already be worried about me and will send more of my siblings after me to make sure I return home safely." He was going to blend into the bush, but a hand stopped him before he could fully leave.

"Please... just one last thing before you go." Blake pleaded and the little sapling just sighed.

"Ok. One more thing, then I have to leave." The cat faunus smiled at that.

"Me and my team came out here for... a research project for our history class, and we learned about the Guardians from a book that we found in a library." Blake lied coolly, sue her she needed to come up with something on the fly. "We just need to observe them for a few minutes and take some pictures each of variant and then we will have what we need to leave the forest. Can you please point us to the location of the Guardians and any other machine?" Blake had her map ready for the little guy to point out.

"I don't know Blake... just doesn't seem like a good idea." He was on the fence for this, he could be held responsible if they somehow activated the machines.

"Look. I promise we won't mess with anything, we'll be at a distance and just take in the pictures, we won't touch them at any cost and we will just leave them alone." Deklu thought about what she said for a few more seconds.

Finally the little Korok made up his mind, going up to the little device that Blake had he pointed his little hand at the clearing location that the group was going to head off towards in the morning, causing Blake to slightly gasp in surprise.

"Its over there. You can find all three of those machines you need to research in that clearing area. There's going to be a green stone monolith or memorial stone that you can't miss. The machines will be scattered across the clearing, ranging from Scouts, Armos Knights, and Guardians, broken or deactivated." Deklu explained.

"Are you absolutely sure? Has anyone been by recently to try and tamper with these machines?" She needed to know. The off chance if any shady characters coming to activate the machines and their group didn't know about it, they could be walking into a deathtrap.

The cat faunus thoughts turned to the worst, She shuddered to think that her former comrades from the White Fang and what they could do with these kinds of machines. The last thing Blake wanted the activist group to have is access to these deadly weapons, much less know of their presence.

"I just need to know..." Blake couldn't help the cold icy grip of fear pierce her heart.

"Father knows all about this forest, he'd feel if another presence other than his children would be roaming around this area." The cat faunus felt surprised, wondering what kind of influence Deklu's 'father' had here. "Nobody has been out in these specific parts for a couple years, and it has stayed that way for awhile." The Korok spoke out.

She sighed in great relief once again, the faunus was doing that a lot nowadays... "Thank you Deklu, I really appreciate what your doing for us with our research." Blake said, she felt bad for lying to the guy, but its better to have information then going in blind.

"Please for the sake of my family and villages safety, don't make me regret this decision Blake." With that being said he went into the brush, leaving the sight of the cat faunus. "I hope we can meet again, among better circumstances compared to this. But for now, this is goodbye." With those final words echoing from the dusky colored woodlands, Blake was left in the silent forest for a brief period of time.

Until she heard some more loud rustling from behind her. Thinking it might be an enemy, she had her hand on Gambol Shroud just in case. Only to see her blond partner come rushing through the bushes, calming her down immediately.

"There you are Blake." Yang said as she ran over to her and looked all around the area for the little tree guy. "Where'd the little tree fella go?"

"He's gone, don't worry the little Korok is safe." Blake said, making Yang perk up from that bit of good news.

"That's good to know." Yang smiled a bit before her face formed a curious look from what her partner just said, "Korok? you know that little guy was?" Yang questioned.

"Yes I do." Blake replied.

"Well are you gonna tell your good ole' partner about it?" Yang fluttered her purple eyes cutely to try and convince Blake to tell her.

"Yeah I can tell you more about it." Which Yang gave off a loud 'Yes' from that, only to have Blake give off a smug cat like grin. "When we get back to camp." Blake told her partner, which made the blond deflate immediately from that comment.

"Ah, your no fun you know that Blakey." Yang gazed at the area, searching for any straggler monsters but only noticing the corpse of the Bulblin laying on the ground. "Glad you took care of that punk."

"Yeah... I got here just in time to save him." Blake was still processing all of the information she just got from Deklu, but one things for sure she needed to talk to the rest of the group about this, "Managed to take the guy down before he did something horrible to the little guy." Yang snarled at the implication.

"Good thing he's dead." Yang said coldly. The cat faunus shuddering in her partners change of attitude a bit, deciding to change topics she noticed Pyrrha not with her partner.

"By the way Yang where is Pyrrha?" Blake questioned. Yang's previous demeanor changed back to her usual cheerful attitude, as she thumbed towards where she came from with a smile.

"Back at the clearing, P-Money handled the rest of those monsters that we had to fight." Yang only scratched her head from the confusion of it all before stretching her arms above her head. "What were all those things anyway? Do you have any idea Blakey? Because I am sure as hell I have never seen spiders the size of humans or living plants with teeth in them before here in Vale." Yang was just confused about all of these weird happenings around here.

"Plus these guys just disappeared when we wasted them, the only thing left were those two goblins I wasted and some other bulb like things that came from the plants." Yang continued to say. That last comment had the cat faunus intrigued, those blue plants were Deku Babas and she remembered what Keaton the merchant said about cultivating them into Deku Nuts.

She could come back to that clearing area and pick up those remains later, right now she needed to calm Yang down from her questioning.

"I... might have an idea of what those 'things' were, its sort of related to the whole Korok situation." Blake said, "But like I said, I'll inform everyone when we get back to camp." Which only had the blond let out a frustrated sigh about this, "Look Yang, I know you're curious about all of this. But with the info I got from that Korok, everyone needs to know about this. I think its best that everyone knows about the unknown we are about to walk into." Especially considering that would soon be walking into a machine minefield.

"Alright, Alright you made your point." Lilac eyes looking at her partner for any kind of lies or deceit in them, but couldn't get a read on her poker face. "Well what are we waiting for? Let's get back to Ladykiller. I'm sure he's feeling very lonely without his lovely ladies comforting him." Yang jokingly said as she clapped her hands together.

"Hold it!" Blake said in a stern voice, making the brawler stop and almost trip over herself.

Yang groaned out in exasperation, "What is it this time kitty-kat?" Which only caused Blake to cross her arms and scowl at Yang.

"You still need to get that firewood for the food Yang. Its almost dinner time and the last thing I am going to miss out on is a tasty fish dinner." The cat faunus pointed out. "so get to chopping Yang!"

Yang only facepalmed, remembering why she came out here in the first place. "Ah Oum damnit all."

Finding a smaller tree with some shorter limbs was actually easy to locate for Yang, compared to the large forest with a plethora of trees. After a couple minutes of Yang and Blake gathering sufficient wood for their fireplace. They met back up with Pyrrha at the clearing and made their trek back to camp, the sun almost completely set and giving the sky a purple hue.

The travel back towards camp was a slightly quiet affair, all of the girls were kind of silent on the trip back. Yang and Pyrrha still wondering what those monsters could be, but Blake was feeling quite nervous about telling the other two about this situation. Blake didn't want to surprise everyone like this about telling them about the lands of Hyrule, but at this point what choice does she have?

"Maybe I'm just overthinking this... Jaune can help me out on this, he's had the book longest and he has some family history in there as well. He could definitely convince Pyrrha and Yang that I am telling the truth about this." It was worth a shot at least, and hey the Mistralian girl is already reading the book. Maybe it wouldn't be so hard to convince Pyrrha.

Yang on the other hand... might not believe them at first.

But that was ok! Maybe Jaune could help explain the situation.

"Somehow that won't go well..." Blake thought as she sniffed the air and the hair on her skin started standing up.

Suddenly, Blake stopped thinking trying to come up of a plan to explain the situation, as she smelt something in the air. This wonderful smell felt familiar to her, making her stomach growl out in frustration as she hadn't eaten anything during the majority of the hike.

It smelt like... fish!

Her ember eyes went wide and her mouth started to slightly water because of the wonderful smell, she started speeding her walking pace up, suddenly fast walking in front of both Pyrrha and Yang to try and get back to camp as quick as possible. Then she started a slight jog towards the camps direction.

"Blake? HEY! Wait up for us!" Yang said as she and Pyrrha decided to get take the firewood in their hands, but it seemed like the cat faunus wasn't listening as she was starting to get out of sight. "Do you have any idea why she just took off like that?" Yang said to the redheaded girl, which she only gave off a shrug.

"I'm not sure..." While she didn't know why the cat faunus was basically jogging towards base camp, she did notice that there was smoke in the sky to show there was a fire lit nearby. "But it seems like she's going towards the smoke set by that fire. Guess Jaune got the firewood that he needed." Pyrrha pointed out.

However Yang was slightly peeved from that response, "What the hell Jaune! He couldn't wait for me to get the wood for him so he just gets some himself! Then what was the point of me getting this?!" Pyrrha just gave the blond brawler an apologetic smile.

"I'm sure we could use this for the another fire later, come on we should pick up the pace otherwise we are going to get lost out here in the dark." With that said Pyrrha and a annoyed grumbling Yang made their way back to their campsite.

When the duo finally made it back to the camp, they saw Jaune stirring up a mixing pot with a big wooden spoon, with a nice little fire going underneath the pot. Blake was standing right next to the setup, looking down at the pot of food inside. "There you girls are! What took you so long, I was starting to wonder where you wondered off to." Jaune said, looking a little worried for the two.

"Ah don't worry about us VB. We just had to take care of a few thing before we brought back the goods." Yang said showing off the extra firewood that the group brought back. "Plus Blake has some stuff she needed to talk about to the whole group." looked at her partner for a response.

But she seemed... preoccupied.

"~~Fishhhhhh~~" Blake groaned out, disturbing everyone around her with her zombie like trance, her stomach having a mind of its own as it growled out in agony, amber colored eyes glazed over in a trance. The wonderful fishy prize of food in the pot just a couple feet away.

"Um... Maybe we should eat first, we haven't had anything to eat since we arrived in the forest." Pyrrha suggested, Yang would have protested that they needed to know what Blake learned from that little tree creature, but her stomach spoke for her in that regard by letting out a growl of defiance and protest.

The brawler only chuckled, she had to admit... they haven't eating anything today. "Ok maaaaybe Pyrrha has a point."

"We've all worked hard today to get to this point, so we all deserve a load off tonight." Jaune smiled out. "Good job for getting the extra firewood there Yang."

"Leaf it to me to get the job done." The punny girl gave mocking salute with a shit eating grin, which got a groan out of Pyrrha and grunt of pain from Blake the horrible pun. "Where wood you like the extra lumber VB?" punned out once again.

Yang's horrible humor caused Jaune to slightly chuckle at the horrible pun." Just put that extra wood to the side. We'll definitely use those later on tonight." Jaune said, stirring the pot a couple of more times, before putting the lid on it to let it keep warm.

Pyrrha sniffed the wonderful aroma as well, looking quite famished herself. "That smells wonderful Jaune, what is it?"

"Oh this stuff? This is a fish stew recipe that my mother taught me. I used some of the greengill fish that I caught an hour ago, mixed with some onions and other vegetables and seasoning. " Jaune said. The three ladies couldn't help but start drooling at the smell, the aroma of the dish was heavenly, like a nice homecooked meal. Blake was especially effected by the powerful fish stew, she wanted to cry in Jaune's presence for making this wonderful meal, worship the ground he walked on for making the food of the gods.

She licked her lips, she couldn't to taste fishy paradise.

Yang took a big whiff of the pot and let out a euphoric sigh. "You definitely went all out here Lover Boy, the stew smells delicious!" Yang giving off a sunny smile towards the knight, making Jaune's cheeks turn pink from the complement. He turned to see what Blake to say, only to see the cat faunus solely focused on the pot of stew with a scary amount of intensity.

Jaune chuckled nervously from Blake's silent staring contest with the pot, "Guess Blake is speechless."

"Gimme fish stew..." Blake sounded like she was in a trance, her arm reaching out to the pot of stew like she couldn't live without it. Cat ears twitching like crazy underneath her bow like a moving antenna.

He shook off the tease from Yang and knew that the food was ready from how long its been cooking. "Looks like you girls came just in time, the stew is ready." He got some wooden bowls and spoons out from his backpack and handed it towards the girls.

Blake was the first one to the pot, ready to receive a taste of heaven.

"Ok Blake... Godly fish dinner made by cute Jaune first, then telling everyone about what happen in the forest.

With a dinner like this, she needed to enjoy every part of it before the she has to be the barer of bad news.

Omake: Hookshot Hijinks: Part 1

"Alright... There!" After nailing a target into the tree, Jaune was finished putting the last target into the trees. The group decided to stop one of the clearings for a slight break from traveling. Jaune being the curious guy that he was, wanted to know the capabilities of the Hookshot that he purchased Blake.

"Are you sure about this Jaune?" Pyrrha said as she watched her partner jump down from the large branch.

"Absolutely! We need to test the Hookshot in order to confidently use it in the field. Knowing all about your equipment and how it works is crucial. And this is the perfect test for it!" Jaune said.

"I'm curious with how Blakey is gonna use this weird doohickey." Yang smiled.

"I'm not! Why do you have all the medical supplies out for this Jaune?!" Blake noticed of all of their supplies out in the open, including a defibrillator unit which definitely freaked the cat faunus out.

"Just to make sure that if you get hurt or the off chance you critically injure yourself." Jaune said, but got interrupted by the loud shout of the cat faunus.

"WAIT WHAT!" Blake cried out, her eyes wide in disbelief from that comment. "Hell no, I'm not using this thing if it'll get me killed!" She looked at the item like it was a active time bomb about to go off in her hands

"Blake, I said that on the off chance you get hurt." But the cat faunus was not having it and got in Jaune's face and started shaking him profusely.

"THAT DOESN'T MAKE IT BETTER AT ALL JAUNE!" After getting shook, the Arc knight was dizzy and made Yang have a laughing fit from her partners freak out. "I'm not going to use this thing, end of story."

"Now hold on! I bought that for you to use Blake. You got to at least use it once!" Jaune was trying to reason with her.

"I said no." Blake narrowed her amber eyes at the knight in question. "Unless this thing can be proven to be safe, I am not risking my life on a tool that can get me killed by just using it." Jaune only sighed out in frustration, this is getting them nowhere. Just then an idea popped into his head in how to fix this.

"Ok Blake how about this." Jaune called out, getting her and the other two girls attention. "How about you test the hookshot first by hitting that target on the tree and then I will test the hookshot next. How does that sound?" Jaune making a deal. "If you succeed and continue to use this item, I'll give you anything you want." Laying out all on the line.

"What if I get hurt?" Blake leveled a glare at the blond knight.

"Same deal. Anything you want."

"Anything?" Blake said with an excited look, ears perking up underneath her bow.

"Anything I can get you, I will try. Arc's promise." Jaune swore, leaving Blake with her daydreams of nothing but tuna melts and seafood dishes and maybe even the newest addition of Ninja's of Love series: The Passionate Golden Era. The possibilities were endless

With that on the line, It was definitely a win for Blake Belladonna regardless.

"Deal! Now back up guys, I need to concentrate." Blake shooed everyone away from her, the target on the tree the main focus and driving obstacle from tuna and wonderful reading art such as NOL. The others went back to the target tree, waiting for the result.

Yang was giggling up a storm and pulled out her scroll and had a recording red dot on the video camera part of it. "Hooo boy, this is gonna be good." Waiting for the moment of truth. Pyrrha looked over towards the brawler looking at her funny.

"Aren't you concerned that she's gonna hurt herself?" Pyrrha said.

"Ah Blakey will be fine, she's athletic enough to not collide with the tree." Yang reassured the Spartan girl, trying to get a good angle for the shot.

"And if she isn't?" The Mistralian girl said with worry in her tone of voice.

"Then I got some comedy gold to hold over the kitty kat for the beginning of the semester." Yang letting out a sinister chuckle. "Even if she does eat wood, she's got eight more lives. I'm sure Blake will be Purrrfectly fine." making a pun and snickering, the reaction only making Pyrrha sigh in worry from Yang's lack of safety for her partner.

"This is not going to end well is it?" The red head thought, she turned to her partner hoping to talk him out of this test. "Jaune I don't think we do this. What if Blake really does hurt herself?" But Jaune just waved it off.

"Don't worry Pyrrha, the worst that could happen to Blake is probably a little bump or some kind of bruise." Jaune called out to the tester. "ALRIGHT BLAKE! WHENEVER YOU'RE READY!"

"OK!" Blake let out a deep breath and remembered what the instructions said on the accursed item, all she had to do was press the center button and let the hook fly, then once she reached her destination or close to it she presses the button again to stop, otherwise her face is going to get real familiar with an oak tree.

"No pressure." Her final thought as she took aim with the hookshot, pressing the middle button she felt the spear fly towards the target in the tree. The sharp object quickly hit the target with a loud 'THUNK', and with that hold now there her body flew towards the area she hit. The faunus was surprised to literally be almost at her location in literally seconds. The wind whistling in her hair and ears with how fast she was going.

She was almost towards the tree and had to remember to click the button to stop her from completely eating wood, she quickly pressed it and the spear slackened up, letting her feet hit the base of the tree. Her impact made deep furrows in the base however, signaling that she may have came in way too hot.

"Great job Blake!" Jaune gave her a thumbs up. "And you girls were doubting me." He said towards the other two. Pyrrha letting out a sigh of relief. "Alright! Its my turn to give this sucker a spin." Jaune said as he ran towards where Blake was standing previously.

"Glad to see you alright Blake, so what do you think of the Hookshot?" Pyyrha said.

"Honestly Pyrrha... It was pretty cool!" Blake said with a smile on her face. "I think this item is going to be useful if my ribbon somehow is indisposed or if I'm using it in combat. Plus I got to this tree target pretty quick when I used it, so its definitely gets my seal of approval."

"I'm just glad you didn't hurt yourself. You had us worried when you landed on the base of the tree." Pyrrha saw the deep furrow marks indented into the wood.

"Honestly that was just me using too much aura to cushion the landing. The Hookshot did excellent and I was able to stop at the right time." Blake said.

Yang on the other hand was not feeling too happy right now.

"Awwww... Blaaaaake! You were suppose to faceplant into that tree like one of those funny cartoon cats in those Mistral cartoons." Yang had anime tears in her eyes from the missed opportunity of a viral funny cat faunus video. "Now how am I going to be internet famous on Schneetube? That faceplant was going to be comedy gold! I was going to edit it with cartoon thought bubbles and everything!" While her 'partner' was having this crisis. Blake only looked at the blond and rolled her eyes.

"I'm so glad that my safety was your biggest concern there Yang. Oum forbid if I ever get into an actual dangerous situation and have to rely on that Hookshot. " Sarcasm dripping from her tone.

Pyrrha felt... bad for the brawler? Is that how she was suppose to be feeling? "Um... Now Yang... maybe it was a good thing that your partner didn't hit the tree and hurt herself?" Pyrrha already knew this, but she wasn't really the best with consoling people that were having a silly breakdown like this.

"You girls don't understand!" Yang sniffled, "Now where am I going to fight physical pain comedy gold? Its not like it grows on tree!?"

"GIRLS I DON'T KNOW HOW TO STOP THIS THIIIIINNNNGGG!" They all three heard the yell of their sole male member, and looked up to see him flying towards the tree. However unlike Blake, Jaune was not able to press the stop button in time.

The result made all of the girls wince from the sound of impact, followed by the sound of a sound of agony.

They all three turned to see Jaune with hookshot in hand, but his entire body colliding into the tree face first and they also winced as they saw that he also hit the tree... crotch first as well.

"Oum Jaune! Are you ok?" Pyrrha shouted out. She was definitely worried for the blond knight. Jaune didn't even answer her with words, just weird cries like some kind of sea creature. He stayed in the tree and then fell on his back hard. He instinctively curled up into the fetal position, covering his pelvis with his hands.

"Judging by him not saying a Oum forsaken thing Pyrrha, maybe you should go get a med kit for him. That hit looked like it messed him up something fierce." Blake reminded her With no more words, the red haired girl rushed to get one from the many sprawled on the floor. "At least it wasn't me. Thank the brothers." The cat faunus thought. But then her ears picked up an angry growl next to her, seeing her partner particularly steamed for some reason.

"Damnit Jaune you ruined it!" Yang yelled out, confusing the cat faunus entirely.

"What the hell did he do to you?" Blake questioned.

"He should of waited until I was recording!" The cat faunus had no words, her partner was just flat out insane at this point. She seriously was still going on about that damn video?! "Jaune do it again! I need to record this for posterity's sake!" The brawler lied, only making the cat faunus facepalm in shame.

"Yang... You have issue." Blake only shook her head, there was nothing left to say...

And with that Omake done, we have another chapter in the books.

Originally I wanted to keep this going, but if I didn't cut it off the chapter was going to go on forever. Also sorry for not updating so soon, a lot of factors came up like work and other shit like my AC going out.

And I'm in Texas, so my AC going out is like me melting in a hotbox at my place, which really just caused me to not wanting to write. Plus a plethora of other factors.

But enough of my problems. We got the first enemies in the mix for our ladies. I wanted to start with classic monsters like Deku Babas, Bokoblins, Octoroks, and the horrifying Skulltulas, especially the Twilight Princess versions.

Seriously those things are terrifying.

But also the I brought along Bulblins. Now there are differences with Bulblins, in which they won't be like classic Zelda monsters and they won't disappear when they die. They will leave corpses because they are a living race.

I also gave them an item of somewhat called the Chaos Horn, basically a monster calling horn like King Bulblin did in the beginning of Twilight Princess. But instead of calling Shadow Beasts, the minor grunt goblins can call upon the darkness around them and summon weak enemies, and because of their weaker status in the Bulblin tribe, they can only summon weak monsters.

However, once the gang starts meeting Bulblin Chieftains or god forbid King Bulblin. Well... They'll be fighting some tougher stuff than some creampuff Bokoblins.

By the way, I hope you like what I am going for with different variations of Zora's in this story.

If you are confused about which species is where or which variant of Zora's is in which location of Remnant, I'll put it here now:

River Zora's: Freshwater areas like in the lands of Anima and Saurus (BOTW Design)

Sea Zora's: Coastal areas and Island areas of each Continent and Menagerie (Ocarina Of Time Design)

Swamp Zora's: Rough Terrain areas that would have murky or dirty water like Vacuo or The Grimmlands (Link To The Past Design)

Arctic Zora's: Icy areas and other colder waters that is where they will be located, mostly in upper Anima and Atlas (Twilight Princess Design)

So if you have any questions about what they look like, there you go. Really only they will have a different design change other than the Korok's, but they have different colors anyways and they don't look too different.

As for this plotline for Armos Knights...

I wanted to use these enemies as Sheikah protectors after the Guardians malfunctioned and turned on them. So I decided to make them mech robots that served them long ago, but simpler to put down unless they went rogue. I hope that would be a pretty cool counter.

If you need to see a reference to what I am talking about, look at this artwork from TheEagleForce from Deviantart or the Link To The Past Manga and you'll see what I am talking about.

One last thing, I if you guys were curious. I also have started another story called Arcful Romance. It is a RWBY x Monster Musume crossover if you are interested in that kind of story. I will also be working on that as well.

Anyways... How did you like this chapter? Any thoughts or concerns? If so just PM me or leave some comments and I'll try to answer them as soon as I am able.

With that this is Irongiant9000 and I am signing off, see you all in the next chapter.

Next Chapter: Chapter 9: Ancient Words Of Power
