Hotch stood on the edge of the dock impatiently waiting for Reid to return. He turned to face the house as he paced up and down the rickety boards. He stopped and turned back around as soon as he heard a humming sound growing louder.

He squinted his eyes trying to make out who was driving then let out a sigh of relief when he saw Reid and Alex on the upper deck steering the boat directly towards him. He called out to Duncan who came out from the house to welcome them back.

"Are you guys okay?" Hotch asked as he grabbed the rope to secure the boat.

Alex's face was still bloody and bruised yet she was grinning as she jumped off the edge onto the dock. "I'm perfect."

Duncan lifted her up off the ground as he hugged her, "I'm so relieved."

"Careful, I'm pretty sure I have some cracked ribs," Alex winced.

"Don't tell me Sloane got away," Duncan's face fell.

"Nope, got him right here," Reid announced as he held up Sloane who was still unconscious from under his arms. Duncan and Hotch jumped into action to help Reid get him off the boat.

"Where are those girls?" Alex asked.

"They are with JJ and the team."

"So, what's the plan now?" Duncan asked.

"We need to figure out a way to get Sloane and his men back to the hotel," Hotch started. "From there we can try to get word to the authorities to take him into custody."

"There's another boat off the main dock, maybe with both of them we would be able to transport them all at once," Duncan explained.

"Sounds like a plan," Reid started. "Let's get everyone together.

With the goons securely locked up, the team gathered on the main dock with Sloane, who was still unconscious and tied up and Karl who was next to him with a gag in his mouth. The two rescued women were also with the group and were properly dressed.

"Once we get to the island," Morgan started. "How do we know that Sloane won't have more men there who will work to release him? Come on guys, we need to think about this."

"Maybe just a few of us should go and see if we can make contact with anyone," Prentiss suggested. "Hopefully the phone lines are back up and running by now."

The team broke out into a debate over the best course of action by talking over each other and disagreeing.

"Hey guys," JJ broke up their banter as she pointed towards the Fast Response Cutter a few miles out, coming right towards them.

"Who do you suppose?" Rossi asked.

They watched while holding their hands over their respective guns in preparation. Suddenly the horn from the ship began to blare and someone waved excitedly at them.

"I don't believe it," JJ smirked with astonishment.

"Hey, hey!" Morgan beamed. "That's my girl!"

As the FRC steadily approached Garcia was clearly visible waving to her team from the top of the ship. The group expressed pure excitement when seeing their friend coming to rescue them.

The ship pulled up towards the dock and the six-foot tall Korean agent jumped off the boat and secured it to the port. Hotch approached and shook his hand. "Matt Simmons, it's really good to see you."

"You too. Is everyone okay?" Simmons asked.

"Yes, no major injuries," Hotch responded.

"Is Jack with you?" Rossi asked.

"You know it," Matt grinned.

At that moment the seasoned agent stood at the edge of the boat with his hands on his hips. "I couldn't very well leave a dear friend stranded, could I?" Agent Jack Garrett responded to Rossi and joined him on the edge of the dock.

"What are you guys doing here?" Reid asked.

"You have Garcia to thank for that," Garrett explained.

"Yes, it is all because of me!" Garcia announced. "The phone lines were finally fixed. I put in a call to Monty who told me that his team was close by and would be able to offer us some assistance."

"What team is this?" Alex asked.

"We're the International Response Team," Simmons explained. "The others are still on assignment in the Dominican Republic, so we will need to return to them as soon as we get you all to safety."

It didn't take long for the thugs to be loaded on board and the girls were escorted into the cabin. With everyone gathered together to leave the island Duncan stood back at stared at Sloane's estate.

Hotch approached Duncan as the last to leave. "What's going to happen to me?" Duncan asked.

"You could be facing charges considering all your work with Sloane. However, you will have a few FBI agents, and a close friend in the CIA put in a good word for you. I am sure that the Attorney General would take that into consideration." Hotch placed his hand on Duncan's back. "I know a few lawyers, I will give them a call when we get back to the states."

Duncan gave a grateful nod. "Do you think Alex will be okay?"

Hotch looked as she leaned over the edge of the stern of the ship. "She has a lot of demons to work out, but if anyone can make it, she can." He turned back towards Duncan. "Come on, let's get out of here."

As the ship pulled out into open water, Alex remained at the back of the ship watching the water chop against the hull.

"You're not planning on jumping, are you?" Reid asked as he stood next to her. "Because I would have to have to go in after you and honestly, I think I've done enough swimming for today."

Alex couldn't help but let out a smirk. "Yeah, I think we've both had enough adventure for one vacation." She tilted her head as she watched his hair fly around his face. "So, where do we go from here?"

"You mean with us?" He asked and she responded with a nod. "I suggest we take it one day at a time."

"I agree," she leaned over the edge and watched the island get smaller as they got further away.
