Chapter 4: An Absolutely Zero. (1/5)

Clementine Everett:

"Did you guys hear that explosion?" Louis asked them as he finished putting his boots on.

"What explosion?" Marlon asked before he drank a bit of water.

"I think it was around two in the morning, I heard a weird explosion from far away." He explained.

"I was too exhausted, so I probably slept through it." Clementine said it since she didn't hear any explosion.

"Me too." Marlon as well.

Clementine, Louis and Marlon, woke up from their sleep as soon as the morning arrived. They were preparing themselves to head out.

"This is everything." Marlon spoke as he put on his red letterman jacket. "Did it fit you well?"

"Yes, thanks." Marlon was referring to a blue hoodie that he found, which he gave it to Clementine to wear.

"A little baggy for Clem, but that's probably because she is in better shape than whoever that hoodie used to belong to." Louis pointed out.

"It used to belong to a buff guy, so that's probably incorrect." Marlon corrected him.

"That explains the familiar feeling." Clementine pointed out.

"Familiar feeling?" Louis asked in confusion as he put his brown coat on.

"I..." Clementine immediately felt a little upset. "Used to... use BJ's jackets from time to time... " Or he used to put it on her shoulders when it was cold or raining.

"Oh... Sorry, I shouldn't-" Louis immediately tried to apologize.

"No, it's okay." Clementine was done crying, they had to focus on what was important, which was finding their friends. "We gotta find the others, I ain't wasting anymore time crying."

"Exactly." Marlon agreed as he picked up his aluminum bat. "But, do you guys have any idea where we should start searching?" He asked since he clearly had no idea where to start.

"We should check the spot where we crashed." Clementine suggested. "Knowing Mitch, he would definitely go back to his van."

"Yup, Mitch loves that Van more than his own mother." Louis pointed out.

"Knowing his mother, it's not too hard to understand why." Marlon added.

Clementine never met Mitch's mother, but by the little she heard about her, she seemed like a pretty awful woman. "We should get going, " She picked up the handgun that she found and put it on her pants, then she picked the mop handle. "We're gonna have to find another place to spend the night."

"That's the easy part," Louis spoke as he stretched himself. "The hard part will be finding the others."

"Yes, but we can't just quit." Clementine added.

"Damn straight." Marlon immediately agreed with her. Then he moved his head to look at the office where the window that Clementine used to enter was located. "Hmmm..."

"What's up?" Louis asked since he noticed that Marlon was thinking something.

"Hold up a second." Marlon told the two before he moved towards the office.

Louis and Clementine looked at each other with confused faces for a bit before following Marlon. Entering right behind him. They looked as Marlon moved behind the desk and approached a framed photo of a muscular man carrying a boxing champion belt. He looked at the photo for a second, before he pulled it off the wall, revealing a safe behind it.

"That's the most cliché place to hide a safe." Louis couldn't help but say it. "I would hide it behind the fridge, no one would think of searching there."

"Are you looking for something specific?" Clementine asked, because she doubts that it's money that Marlon wants.

"Yes..." Marlon confirmed as he attempted to open the safe. "And here we go..." He managed to open. "The date of Mr. Pickman's last boxing match." That was the safe's combination.

He opened the safe and there was some stuff inside. Money, documents, some notebooks, but the thing that stood out the most was a gun.

"That's a real gun?" Louis asked as Marlon pulled the gun out.

The gun seemed to be some kind of shortened rifle.

"It's a copy of a gun from a cowboy TV-show that Mr. Pickman adored, but it's real." Marlon explained. "It's basically a shortened cowboy rifle." The boy with a mullet then inspected the safe once again and found a box of ammunition. .22 Long Rifle is written on it.

"Do you even know how to use that?" Louis asked.

"Nope, but do any of us actually know how to use a gun?" Marlon replied with a question.

Clementine sighed before responding. "BJ did."

"Are you serious?" Marlon asked in disbelief. "Where the hell did he learn how to use a gun?"

"His grandpa was a War Vet." Louis responded. "Didn't you know?"

"Woah, seriously?" Marlon clearly didn't.

"He fought in the Vietnam War, I think he was a Green Beret." Clementine added. She never actually met the man, she only heard of him from BJ. "He practically put BJ through a boot camp when he spent a summer in his house." She almost chuckled as she remembered the rants about how much he hated it. But he practically got combat training without having to join the military, so it was a positive according to him.

"That explains a lot actually." Marlon pointed out. Then he attempted to load the gun. The bullets were pretty small and they wondered if it would actually do any damage.

"Ready?" The girl wearing a baseball hat asked her two friends as he moved to check the window that she used to get in.

"Lock and load." Marlon replied as he strapped the shortened rifle on his shoulder.

"You betcha." Louis spoke next.

Having no more reason to stay there. Clementine, Marlon and Louis passed through the window.

"This is good right?" Carefully, the trio made their way to the spot where they got separate from the rest of the group. Only to see that the van wasn't there anymore.

"It means that Mitch came back here, and is probably looking for the others with the van." Marlon pointed out.

"Well, I'm pretty sure that Willy was with him." Clementine pointed out. "So they're probably okay." Since they had the van and could use it to get away.

"Yeah, but we are still completely clueless of where to look for the others." Louis pointed out.

"Let's start by getting off the street." Marlon spoke as he pointed at some of the monsters that were at the end of the street.

Clementine signalled them to move. They all walked towards the corner of the street in order to make their way to a different one. "Alright, help me out..." She was trying to come up with an idea. "Where could at least one of the others have run to?" She asked them.

"Probably a familiar place." Marlon pointed out. "What is the closest place from here that we all know of?" He asked.

The three of them thought deeply as they continued to walk. Thankfully, there were no monsters on sight. Despite trying her hardest, she couldn't think of anything and Marlon just looked at her in a way that signifies that he couldn't think of anything. However, Louis clearly had an idea but he was reluctant to say it.

"What?" Clementine asked.

"There's a place but neither of you are going to like it." Louis warned them.

"Huh?" Clementine was confused.

Marlon on the other hand, looked around and immediately touched his face in frustration.

"What, what is it?" Clementine still couldn't understand.

"Clem..." Marlon decided to answer. "BJ's apartment is the closest place from here."

Clementine could only widen her hazel eyes in response to what she just heard. In truth, they all avoided going to his apartment once they got to the city, not exactly expecting to find Mr. and Mrs. Jones there. Nor did she want to find them, because she didn't know how she would break the news to them. "Umm... I..." There was also the fact that she didn't want to go there because she knew that she would get overwhelmed.

"Look, we gotta check it." Louis pointed out the obvious to her. Then he placed his hands on her shoulders. "You don't have to go inside, Marlon and I can go in while you wait outside."

Clementine was still reluctant, but she knew that they had to check. "Alright..."

"Rrrrrr..." Suddenly, one of those monsters came out from under a car that was on the street. Only for Marlon to smash it's skull in with a baseball bat.

"Crap, we gotta move." Marlon spoke calmly as he saw more of those things coming out from hiding spots and moving towards them.

"Run!" Clementine yelled.

The trio immediately began to run in order to get away from the monsters. With Marlon swinging his baseball bat at any that stood in their way. Clementine held her mop handle, but didn't hit anything with it, because Marlon was doing most of the head bashing there.

Until.

"Ahh!" One of those things grabbed Louis's ankle and caused him to trip. Causing Clementine to immediately hit it's head with the tip of the mop handle. Piercing it's eyeball with it, which killed it. "Woah!" Louis was disgusted and wasted no time in getting off the ground.

"Hurry." Clementine said as she helped Louis stand.

Clementine and Louis had no choice but to run past all of the monsters as fast as they could. Shit! They're everywhere. Clementine thought as she saw them coming from all directions. With them practically reaching the next street and finding even more monsters.

"Guys!" Marlon called them as he swinged his bat into the head of one of them. "This way!" He signalled towards an open door that was located on their left. Paying no attention whatsoever to where that door led to, Clementine and Louis simply ran and passed through the door without thinking twice. "Fuck!" Marlon cursed as he shut the door. It seemed to be the back door of some type of store. "Hurry, find something to block the door!" Marlon told them as he blocked the door.

Both Louis and Clementine desperately searched around for something. Running towards the front of the store to check, it turned out that they were at a jewelry store.

"Nothing but fake jewelry." Louis claimed. He was right, there was nothing to block the door.

Clementine turned around to check on Marlon, only to widen her eyes as Marlon couldn't block the door anymore and was pushed backwards by the monsters. He stumbled backwards and fell on the floor, while the monsters passed through the door.

In a split second, Clementine pulled out her handgun and proceeded to shoot at the monsters. Unfortunately, he barely killed any of them, only managing to hit two of them in the head. However, that was enough for Marlon to crawl away from them and stand up from the floor. Just in time for Clementine to run out of ammo.

"Over here." Louis opened the front door and signalled them to follow him.

Clementine ran to the left in order to get past the counter. While Marlon simply jumped over it.

Running past the door, they came across another street. A street that Clementine recognized. "This way." She signalled them to follow her as she made her way to the right.

Running through the curbside of the street. Both Marlon and Louis followed her without question. Eventually, she moved across the street with them following behind her. Clementine leads them to a butcher's shop.

"Why the hell did we come here?" Marlon asked as they entered the butcher shop and he locked the door behind them.

"This is owned by the parents of a girl that I played soccer with. " Clementine explained as they passed by a bunch of really smelly meat. "Her dad always parked their car behind the store." She remembers because he gave her and the girl a ride once.

"Come on then." Louis clearly wanted to get to this car.

Passing through the counter, they prepared to make their way to the back of the store, but before they did. Louis moved his head to the right and noticed that there was a bloody cleaver on top of the counter. So he grabbed it since he was the only one without a weapon. "I think the owner cut some quarters with the meat." Louis joked as he covered his nose.

"Not the time, Louis." Clementine really wasn't in the mood for jokes.

"Fuck." Marlon cursed. Because an overweight monster passed through the door behind the counter. With Marlon immediately smashing his head in with the aluminum bat.

"Dammit," Clementine said. "That was the owner."

"Sorry, I'm sure your meat was high quality." Louis joked, causing Clementine to look at him apprehensively.

"That means the car could still be in the back." Marlon spoke as he rushed the two to follow him.

Making their way to the back of the store, the smell got worse. Probably because the meat was rotten due to the refrigeration system being off.

Clementine and Louis both covered their noses in disgust. Marlon just made a disgusted face but he continued. It didn't take long for them to reach the back entrance of the store.

"And... We need a new plan." Marlon revealed to them passed through the door.

Clementine moved to the back alley and moved her head to the left where she saw that the car was completely busted. "Come on..."

"Guys..." Louis moved his head to the opposite direction and saw more of those things.

"Back up, back up." Marlon pushed the two back and shut the backdoor close.

"Great, what now?" Clementine asked because she was out of ideas.

"Umm... we better come up with a plan fast." Louis pointed out as he signalled them to look at the door.

Moving their heads, they saw that there were several of them at the door and windows, bashing it to try to get inside.

"Goddammit." Marlon said, because they also heard bashing coming from the door that he just closed.

As the bashing continued, the trio did their best to search for a way out.

However, as they struggle to find a way to escape that butcher shop. Something happened. Loud gunfire was heard by them, coming from outside.

"Wha-" Louis was about to ask, but Marlon immediately shut him up and pulled them back.

Reaching the back door that he just shut down. He opened the door, and looked outside before signalling them to go.

Stepping out, Clementine and Louis realized that the monsters that were bashing the door were now following the gunfire. So they moved in the opposite direction.

"That was really close." Clementine couldn't help but comment because they were completely surrounded.

"We have to be more careful." Marlon told her as he ran ahead of them.

"Could you two slow down , I'm not exactly in peak physical condition." Louis spoke as he ran behind them.

"Hurry up, Lou!" Clementine rushed him as she grabbed his hand and pulled him.

All they could do now was run as fast as they could until they arrived at their destination.

"Oh god, is that what I think it is?!" It must have taken an hour of nonstop running to reach the place they were trying to reach, BJ's Apartment.

"I can recognize... that ugly thing from ugly thing... from miles away." Louis joked as he tried to regain his breath from all that running.

The "ugly thing" in question was Mitch's van. Which was parked at the entrance, literally, as it was only a few inches away from the door.

Marlon sighed in relief. "Come on, maybe Mitch was able to find someone else." The boy with a mullet told them before he rushed to the door.

Clementine did the same, while Louis sighed before running after them.

Once they got closer, they realized that the van seemed to be intact, except for a spot that was smashed due to the crash.

"Wait, did Mitch crash twice?" Louis asked as he pointed at another spot that was smashed.

"I guess we're about to find out, come on." Marlon entered the apartment to make his way to BJ'S home.

Louis was about to follow him, but he noticed that Clementine seemed reluctant. "You can just wait outside while we check." Louis suggested as he touched her shoulder.

Clementine took a deep breath and said. "No, let's go inside." Despite her feelings about going into her deceased boyfriend 's home, she needed to see if her friends were okay.

Louis wrapped his arm around her and the two quickly made their way in. Slowly, the two friends made their way to the stairs, climbing it slowly. It didn't take long for them to reach the right floor, where Marlon was standing in the middle of it.

"I should have gone with them." They heard a familiar voice.

"Willy?" Louis recognized right away.

"They can take care of themselves." Another familiar voice.

"That's Tenn." Marlon recognized right away.

"Just Mitch and James going was better, most of us are not in condition to do anything but get in the way." And yet one more familiar voice. "Ahhh..."

"Stop moving." One more familiar voice.

"Aasim and Ruby." Clementine pointed out.

The three of them immediately moved towards the door of BJ'S home.

"You all need to stop worrying, they'll be back at any moment." Next was Sophie 's voice."How is she doing?"

"A hell of a headache, but she's doing better." Then it was Minerva's voice.

Once the three of them reached the door, they tried to open but it was locked.

A small pause occurred until Clementine knocked on the door and said. "Guys, open up, it's us."

"Clementine?!" She heard Brody's voice.

It took less than a second for whoever was on the other side to unlock the door. Once it was open, it revealed Brody standing there.

"Hey you." Louis was the first one to speak to her.

"Oh my god." She wasted no time in hugging the trio. Hugging Louis and Marlon right away, while she was at it, she realized that everyone else was approaching them.

"What the hell, where have you guys been?" Willy asked as he hugged Clementine.

"We hid in that old boxing gym." Marlon spoke as he got hugged by Tenn.

"How did you guys know we were here?" Tenn asked as he let go of Marlon and moved to hug Louis.

"We didn't." Louis spoke as he hugged him back, before getting hugged by Minnie as well.

"This was a lucky guess since it was the closest to the crash." Clementine explained as Sophie hugged her. Then she moved her head to look inside and saw a shirtless Aasim, with several bruises on him. "Shit, what happened to you?!" Louis and Marlon moved their heads and noticed as well.

"Short version, some dickhead cop beat him up." Ruby, who was applying some type of cream on a bruise on his torso, told them.

"What?" Marlon asked as he entered the room to check on him.

"Yeah, he-sssss" Aasim was about to tell him about it, but he stopped as Ruby applied some more cream in a big bruise on his rib. "Gently..." He requested his girlfriend.

"Sorry.." Ruby immediately apologized before kissing his cheek, but the bruise looked bad.

"Will you guys shut the fuck up, my head fucking-" Suddenly, someone came out of BJ's room, and Clementine gasped once he saw who was it.

"Jesus Christ..." Louis couldn't help but speak in response to what he just saw.

Violet just came out of BJ's room, as her face was a mess. There was a lot of swelling on it, with some stitches in them and a lot of bandages.

"What the hell happened?!" Clementine immediately asked her blond friend as she approached her.

"Hey, Clem." Violet spoke as she smoked a cigarette.

"Vi, you shouldn't smoke after taking painkillers." Minnie spoke as she attempted to snatch the cigarette from her mouth.

"Fuck off..." Violet spoke as she pushed her girlfriend's hand away. "My face feels like shit, I need something to distract myself." That was her justification.

"Okay," Marlon immediately stepped in. "What the fuck happened?!" He asked them. "Did you make your way here after the crash and bumped into trouble or something?" That was something that Clementine wanted to know as well.

"Ummm... N-no, actually, I was the only one that made my way here after the crash." Sophie was quick to respond to Marlon.

"We kind of just scattered around afterwards, each going to a different place." Aasim informed him as he put his shirt back on.

"Wait, then, how did it all end up here?" Louis asked them in confusion.

Everyone just stared at one another, clearly trying to find the right words to tell them.

"Ummm..." Tenn decided to speak. "BJ found us and brought us here."

...

...

...

...

...

...

...

A small pause ensued as they were processing what Tenn just said.

"Umm... Buddy, Could you repeat what you just said?" Louis requested him.

"Bentley Skipper Jones is fucking alive, Louis." Violet bluntly spilled out for Louis. "He found us and brought all of our asses here."

"But...But... The bite?!" Marlon to point out in clear disbelief.

"It didn't do anything to him." Ruby was quick to clarify.

"All this time we thought he was dead, he was actually trying to catch up with us." Sophie added as she stood next to Violet and Minnie.

Marlon touched his face in deep frustration, clearly shocked by the news.

Louis actually smiled in response because he was clearly glad to hear that BJ was alive.

Clementine on the other hand, was paralyzed as she could not believe what she just heard. But she snapped out of it right away and immediately searched around before asking a very important question. "Then where is he?!"

"He..." Brody was the one that decided to answer. "Went with James and Mitch to get Omar."

Bentley Jones:

"Run!" Bentley Jones yelled to his friends as he proceeded to open fire at the Walkers. Firing his Ruger AC-556 in full auto at the undead as everyone runs down an alleyway.

"Say hello to my little friend!" Mitch yelled at the Walkers as he fired his Sten gun.

The two continued to fire at the horde of Walkers that were approaching them as James helped Omar move. His ankle was hurt and he was having difficulty moving.

"Get inside!" He ordered them as they reached the backdoor of a building.

James and Omar were the first ones to enter, Mitch went afterwards and then Bentley went last, closing the door behind him as he did. "Move." Immediately, he got moved to the front of the group aiming his rifle. There was a noticeable difference in his Ruger AC-556, which was the fact that the gun now had a scout scope, a M7 bayonet and a C-MAG Magazine attached to it.

"Fucking hell, how the fuck are we going to make it back to the car?!" Mitch, who was behind everyone ,asked angrily as he aimed his Sten Gun at the door that they just passed through.

"Let's focus on getting away from those things first." James , who was standing in between Bentley and Mitch with Omar, told them.

"What is this place?" Omar asked, as he moved with difficulty due to his ankle.

Bentley illuminated the area using his flashlight. There, he saw several electronic devices like TVs, stereos and old computers. "It's a-" Before BJ could answer Omar, the back door of the store opened. With the Walkers passing through.

"Fuck!" Mitch yelled and he prepared to open fire once again.

"Back up!" Bentley reached inside his coat and pulled out a grenade. Pulling the safety pin, he tossed at the door and then he grabbed Omar's other arm. With the four friends running as fast as they could before the grenade blew.

Clementine Everett:

Clementine, Marlon and Louis could only stand there , completely dumbfounded after hearing everything that happened while they were hidden.

"Okay..." Louis decided to speak. "Let me get this straight." Marlon just stood there, touching his face in deep frustration. While Clementine was still processing everything. "After we left BJ, he realized that the bite didn't do anything to him and he practically spent several days trying to catch up with us without any food, water, weapons or car." Hearing that clearly frustrated Marlon and Clementine. Jesus fucking christ, we were already doing bad enough with a lot of supplies, how the hell did he managed with nothing?! "And when he finally got to the city, he saved Sophie from his perverted neighbor that tried to kill him with a sword." I never liked that Frederico guy, he had creepy pervert written all over his face. But to think that he would kill own grandmother and kidnap Sophie, that only made all the times that he would stare at her when she was at BJ's home, even more disturbing. "Then he used the same sword to clean an entire room of those things to save James and Tenn." Tenn smiled and gave him a thumbs up in confirmation. "After that, he and James sneaked through an entire street filled with those things to save Minnie and Vi." That part actually shocked the hell out of Clementine, because she saw how full that street that was in front of the house that she was hidden on was and if it was anywhere near as full as that. "But Violet was unconscious because three guys beat her up for that bag of guns," Violet immediately looked down in shame after being reminded of that, with Minnie hugging her from behind afterwards. . "So BJ left through the window, climbed the roof, jumped into an electric poll, used the power cables to get to another electric poll and then ran into another street where he blew up a diner to attract the monster's attention..." Louis then made a face. "That explosion that I heard yesterday." He pointed out.

"Mitch and I heard the explosion when we were riding around looking for you guys." Willy explained. "Mitch nearly ran BJ over with the car."

"And then you guys found the guys that beat Vi by accident and... Mitch crashed his van into their car?" Louis asked.

Shit, one crash was enough, Mitch. Clementine thought in deep frustration, especially since Bentley was involved in it.

"Yeah, it was awesome!" Willy squealed in excitement over that, causing almost everyone to roll their eyes in response to Willy's misguided excitement. "Then BJ beat the shit out of the guy with a goatee." Then he made a strange motion, like he was hammering
something ."Just bashing his face with the shotgun over and over and over again."

Clementine sighed in response to that. A memory of BJ bashing a boy's face on a bathroom sink because he made an Asian joke that was a bit racist towards her when they were both eleven passed through her mind.

"Good." Violet was clearly satisfied with the information since the guy with a Goatee was the one that beat her up.

"And once BJ was done, he saw the bag of meds inside of their car and made them tell you guys where they found it." Louis continued. "Then you three made your way to the Grady Memorial Hospital where Willy and BJ entered and found Ruby hiding in a room." Ruby, who was beside Aasim, nodded in confirmation. "Then you found Brody, who had to be sedated by a doctor because she was in complete panic.." Brody looked down, clearly ashamed of that. "After you took her back to the car, BJ handed a gun to the doctor and went back inside to find Aasim." Bentley, you're the bravest boy I know, but did you really have to go alone? Clementine thought in deep frustration. "Then BJ climbed the whole building while fighting the monsters until he reached the final floor where he had a fist fight with a psycho cop that had an axe?" While the three of us were just sleeping peacefully back at the gym. Clementine just couldn't help but feel like shit in knowing that while she was sleeping peacefully somewhere, her boyfriend was risking his life to find them.

"Pretty much," Aasim confirmed. "After he beat up the cop, we descended the stairs, went to the van and drove back."

"We made a quick stop in an army surplus store, where BJ grabbed a few things." Ruby added. "But the place barely had anything in it."

"Okay, but about Omar?" Marlon asked in curiosity since BJ and the others went to find him.

"I..." Brody decided to step up and say. "After the van crash, Omar and I ran away together." She explained to her friends. "But he got tired and decided to run inside a nearby restaurant to hide while I kept on running."

"She told us that as soon as she woke up, so BJ grabbed James and Mitch went to that restaurant right away to try to find him." Sophie finished the explanation.

"How long ago?" Clementine asked in concern.

"About an hour before you guys showed up." Minnie informs them.

Bentley Jones:

"Move." Bentley yelled as he shot the Walker with the rifle.

Bentley, Omar and James, were all inside of a bus that was completely surrounded by the Walkers in a parking lot. Keep running. Bentley had his eye on the scope of the Ruger AC-556, where he was observing Mitch through the window as he ran past the Walkers to try to get to the car. With Bentley covering him by firing at the Walkers that come near him. "He's almost there, just a little longer." He told Omar and James.

"Can't hold on much longer!" James told him.

As BJ covered Mitch, James and Omar were holding the bus door to keep the Walkers from entering.

BJ took more and more headshots as Mitch continued to run, until he disappeared from his line of sight. "Fuck!" BJ cursed as he strapped the rifle on his back. The blond boy moved towards the front of the bus. "What are you doing?" Omar asked him .

Bentley drew his knife and proceeded to smash the windshield of the bus. Before any of the two could question him, he managed to break the windshield and pass through it. "Come on!" He signalled the two to follow him as he climbed to the roof of the bus.

James and Omar understood and immediately let off of the door and moved through the windshield. Climbing onto the bus to avoid the monsters.

"Where's Mitch?" James asked as followed behind BJ.

"No idea." BJ placed the knife back on the sheath and pulled out his AC-556 before kneeling down to take aim. Searching for Mitch through the scope as James helps Omar climb. Come on... He searched from the high spot. There! Mitch was bashing the skull of a Walker using the monkey wrench. Another one was coming from behind him, so BJ took a shot. Killing it with a perfect headshot.

Allowing Mitch to make a run for it, finally reaching the station wagon. "He did it." He warned James and Omar. However, the moment he moved his head, he realized that Janes was struggling to pull Omar, because a Walker grabbed his ankle. Causing BJ ti immediately ran towards them and used the bayonet that was attached to his rifle to kill the Walker. Pulling Omar up with James right away

"AHhhh..." Omar grunted in pain.

"Did it bite you?!" James asked in concern.

"No, it grabbed my ankle." Omar spoke in visible pain as the Walker grabbed the ankle that he had sprained.

"Just hold on a bit longer." Bentley told him as he stood up and searched around. Come on... Come on... BJ waited. There! He saw Mitch coming back with the station wagon. Once he saw him, he strapped the AC-556 on his back once again and pulled out his Ruger P89. "Let's go." He then kneeled down and helped Omar up with James .

The three friends then ran towards the back of the van since most of the Walkers were in the front. Once the three reached the end, they all jumped.

"AAAAHHH!" Unfortunately, that ended up hurting Omar even more, but they had no choice.

Bentley stood up from the ground and immediately proceeded to fire at the group of Walkers that were coming after them. Shooting the gun one handed as he helped Omar up.

Mitch sped up and reached the trio fairly quickly. "Get in!" He yelled as he stuck out of the window and proceeded to fire at the Walkers with the Sten Gun.

"Go! Go! Go!" BJ yelled as he continued to fire at the Walkers with the Ruger P89 to cover Omar and James as they made their way to the car. Landing several headshots until he ran out of ammo. Once his pistol was empty, he ran towards the car as his two friends entered and sat on the backseats. As soon as he gets close enough, he slides across the hood of the car in order to reach the passenger's seat. "Fucking drive!" BJ yelled at Mitch as he sat beside him.

Mitch placed the Sten gun on BJ's lap before he sat on the driver's seat correctly and wasted no time in speeding out of that place as the Walkers continued to move towards the car.

"Goddammit!" BJ said as he leaned back on his seat, panting heavily since he was exhausted.

"That was so close..." James couldn't help but comment as he wiped the sweat off his head.

"What the fuck was that anyway?!" Mitch asked in clear anger.

"Some cokehead redneck trying to have some fun at our expense by the looks of it." BJ replied sarcastically.

"Sssss..." Omar could only grunt in pain.

"How the fuck did you hurt your ankle anyway?" Mitch asked Omar as he drove off the parking lot.

"Ouch..." Omar was clearly in a lot of pain. "I fell after one of those things tried to grab me." He removed a yellow body warmer that he was wearing, before he removed one of his lace-up brown boots and lifted the ankle of his dark blue jeans.

"It doesn't look good." James commented as they saw the bruise on his ankle.

"Don't worry, we can tend the wound back on my apartment." Bentley spoke as he removed the headband from his head.

"Once we get back, you should really get some sleep." James suggested as he touched his shoulder.

"We still have three to go." BJ reminded him as he adjusted his blond curls. He was referring to Marlon, Louis and Clementine. "But I think I'm gonna take a short nap once we get back." Because in truth, BJ barely rested at the hospital since he left to go get Omar as soon as Brody woke up and told them where he was.

"We're gonna have to see if we can get another car." Mitch pointed out. "It will be easier to travel around with more cars."

"Agreed." Bentley agreed with his suggestion because everyone holed up in a single car already proved to be a bad idea .

The street was considerably difficult to maneuver, thankfully, Mitch was a great driver. So they were able to pass by the cars that were blocking the street while avoiding the Walkers.

"Slowly..." It only took them twenty minutes to get back to the apartment. With Mitch parking the car besides the van. James and Mitch then helped Omar climb the stairs while BJ lead the way back to his apartment.

I'm so fucking tired... BJ thought as he approached his door. But Clementine, Marlon and Louis are still out there, I got to find them before doing anything else. The blond haired boy thought in deep worry.

With a sigh escaping his lips, Bentley knocked on the door. "Open up." He called out for the others.

He rubbed his eyes as he awaited for the door to open, once it did, he spoke to whoever opened it. "We foun-" Only to stop mid-sentence once he saw who just opened the door.

Standing right in front of him, was the person that he wanted to find the most. "Clem?" For a second, he thought he was hallucinating from exhaustion. Until Clementine Everett launched herself at him, nearly knocking him into the floor.

"Oh god... It is you..." Clementine spoke in a really low voice as she hugged him very tightly, burying her face on his chest and sobbing a bit.

BJ was still a bit shocked to find her there. "A-are you okay?" He immediately asked in concern as he returned the hug. "When did you get her?!" She didn't respond.

"Hey man!" Suddenly, someone else joined in the hug.

"Louis?!" Bentley realized that he was there two. "Shit man, am I glad to see you." He spoke happily as he wrapped his right arm around Louis to return the hug as Clementine continued to cling to his chest.

"That's a badass look that you got there." Louis commented as he took a good look at Bentley's outfit. Mostly his Duster Coat.

"So good of you to think so." Bentley replied with a smile. Then he moved his head and noticed a third person at the door. Causing BJ to sigh in relief. "That's everyone..." He said as soon as he saw Marlon standing at the door. "Care to join, buddy?" The blond boy told the other blond boy as he opened his left arm.

"Fuck, BJ." Marlon wasted no time and joined in the hug placing his head on his shoulder.

"Hey..." BJ hugged Marlon tightly as he realized that he was crying just like Clementine.

Everyone else immediately moved towards them.

Q and A:

Obrigado pelo capítulo incrível Autor-San!

De nada...

Well glad BJ's group got more of their stuff than they expected back from that other group of survivors

But smarter call I think would have been to kill them instead of just leaving them their saying that thought we still shouldn't see them again given that in the state those guys got left in a few walkers should have eaten them like two minutes after BJ's group left them

Anyway love the continuation of Bentley essentially being his group's messiah what with them all thinking he's dead only for him to return and all

Happier still the trend of him getting more of his group back together continues and their reactions to it well mostly Ruby and Aasim's what with Brody getting knocked out a few seconds after seeing he's back

But yeah really hope we get Bentley getting all his group back together next chapter

With his gun history explanation again even if it's cool that he's a gun history buff think he can save the history lessons about the guns regardless of how old or modern they are until like a quite moment or if someone in the group asks about the type of gun they have haha

So yeah hope we soon get the whole group together them collectively revealing in that fact but them all mostly celebrating the fact Bentley is alive

Now I want to ask since I hope when Bentley's group join the Saviours with his group becoming akin to Negan's Praetorian Guard and Bentley as his right hand man and heir etc etc this leads to a massive increase in the Saviours power and influence and all that turning the Kingdom into something more resembling a Empire and so on so I got to ask what city is Negan going to designate New Richmond as the capital city of his nation and move the main base of operations from the Sanctuary to New Richmond

Yup, they actually worked to get those supplies.

Those three won't last long with those injuries.

Actually, I'm trying to make BJ as more of a Punisher type of figure.

Yup...

Got what you wanted.

It will kind of get a few of those in the next chapter as he will distribute a gun to each one of his friends.

The celebration will be in the next chapter.

Nah, BJ and Clem destroy most of New Richmond during their infiltration. (Accidentally, with even Negan being dumbfounded with the amount of damage they caused.)

Yeah you keep the story going my friend and hey if you get a chance maybe you can probably do AMC's The Walking Dead (with Telltale Characters) cuz the author hasn't updated and probably gave up on the story crossover series and since all The walking Dead is over and the game I figured you might pick your interest on fanfiction it's pretty good but I hope you can do it and there's other ones too The walking Dead and the walking Dead telltale New Day Gone Bye and Day's We've Lost but that's the comic the walking Dead instead of the TV show

Nah, no more stories for now.

The quest to find friends continues. Love BJ's bad ass. He's a pretty adaptable guy. Like BJ's group now, it's similar to the group of teenagers in Red Dawn (1984).
-Which group member who is likened to BJ's right hand
-Is there anyone like BJ? with built-in immunity

I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night!

I'm kind of trying to write BJ to be the Punisher of The Walking Dead.

It was partially what I wanted their dynamic to be.

Marlon is his right hand while Violet is his left hand. (If that makes anysense.)

Probably.

Same!

Sophie, Tenn, James, Minnie, Violet, Willy, Mitch, Ruby, Aasim and Brody are now safe and accounted for in Bentley's apartment. All that is left is Clementine, Marlon, Louis and Omar, Omar who remains unseen. Omar might be at that police station, who knows, and there is the chance that Clementine, Marlon, and Louis run into them as well. Not to mention possibly running into Dr. Trevitt who might mention his encounter with Bentley, Mitch, Willy, Ruby, Aasim and Brody.

Has Clementine had any contact with her uncle or grandparents in Macon since her dad's imprisonment?

Will Bentley's dad take Rick's place?

I take David Garcia confronted Bentley and Clementine over them being spies, and practically handing Richmond over to the Saviors. Things went sour, and he stabbed Bentley and hit Clementine.

They are supposed to go to motel in Macon at some point, with the changes, what will the Macon motel group members comprise of? Will we see Molly from Savannah?

No, Omar hid inside of a restaurant due to not being able to keep running.

Clementine is very close to them.

Not really.

Actually, BJ gave them a chance to escape the city before the Saviors attacked (Mostly Javier, Marianna and Kate.) but David went berserk and attacked the two instead.

Yes. Pretty much the same, with the addition of Jolene and Danielle. Yes.
