I look at Alex and smile. I walk up and pat his back, "Congratulations." He turns around and looks down, "Ally, i.." I smile, "Alex, its okay. Spend some time with your daughter." I look back at the baby and smile, "She is beautiful." I walk away and drop my smile as I head to my car. I open my door and feel someone grab my arm. "Ally, wait." I turn around, "Ally, please this changes nothing between us." I look down and back up, "Spend some time with your daughter, I will talk to you later."

Getting in my car I pull out of the driveway and when I pull into mine I sigh and look at the steering wheel. He has a freaking kid. He needs to be with the mom. The baby needs her dad and her mom, just like Aubrey… Needs me and Austin.

I sigh and get out and go upstairs and turn the shower on. I get in and let everything out. I never thought I would be hurt by Alex. He doesn't even know it but I don't feel good knowing he has a kid. I sigh and get out changing into a pair of jeans and a tank top.

I sit down on my bed and grab Alex's letter. I re-read it and sigh. He is so sweet and amazing but I just don't think I can be with someone who has a kid by someone else. I look over and see Austin's letter. I re-read it and smile through my tears. I get up and head into my closet and bring my box out that has all his other letters in it and my engagement ring. I look at the ring as I put the letter in the box. I can't help it, I slip the ring on and smile at how it fits perfect on my hand and looks good there. I smile as I put it back in the box.

"Momma" I wipe my tears and head downstairs to see Aubrey in Austin's arms. I smile and he puts Aubrey down who runs up and hugs me. I pick her up and kiss her head. Then put her back down and Austin comes over and brings me to the kitchen, "What's wrong?" I shake my head, "What do you mean?" He shakes his head and grabs my hand, "Ally I know you. What's up?" I open my mouth and Aubrey runs in. "Dadda."

Austin turns and picks her up, "Yes princess." She smiles, "Family time." He laughs and hands her to me, "Well how about we go swim then we order pizza and watch the new princess movie." Aubrey smiles and I walk upstairs and change into my yellow bikini and walk Aubrey to her room and put her in her little one piece and floaters.

I walk downstairs and see Austin already changed. I laugh and we head out to the pool. I get in and Austin hands me Aubrey. "Okay, do you remember what Alex taught you?" She nods and me and Austin help her. She pretty much has it but to be safe I keep her floaters on her. She gets bored, "Pwrincess." I laugh and get out and head inside to change.

I throw on some sweats and a jersey. I walk over to Aubrey's room and bath her then put her in her pajamas. I pick her up and we walk downstairs to see Austin paying the pizza guy. I laugh and he turns around and smiles.

We walk into the living room and I grab Aubrey her bottle. I hand it to her and she smiles and sits down on her make shift bed and watches her new princess movie while me and Austin eat pizza.

Aubrey fell asleep half way through the movie. I laughed and went to get her put Austin held me back, "I got her." I smile as he picks her up and takes her upstairs.

I find me and Austin something to watch and put on How I Met your Mother. Austin comes back down and sits next to me. "Now tell me what's wrong?" I sigh and he grabs my hand, "Ally, you can tell me anything." I smile and look down at the thought of what I saw today, "Well, Alex has a daughter. "

I look up and see Austin's jaw dropped a little. "Wh..What?" I look down, "Yep, I found out today when I went to leave their house." Austin lifts my chin and searches my face, "Are you okay?" I smile and he gives me that look and I sigh, "I will admit it hurt at first because I never expected to feel that way from Alex." He nods.

HE just holds my hand and then I turn to him, "I believe he needs to be with her and the baby." Austin turns to me shocked, "I just believe that is right. He need to get to know his daughter." Austin looks at me and searches my face, "Ally, this is totally your decision." I nod and go back to watching the tv. I hear my phone go off and I see Alex texted.
Everything with bre, does not change what we have. I love you and you are my girlfriend.

Sighing I put the phone down, "You okay?" I shake my head, "Can you watch Aubrey I need to go do something." He looks at me but nods.

I grab my keys and head out to my car. Getting in I sigh and head off to Alex's. I pull up and stop at the sight of the car in front of mine. That must be the girls. I sigh and get out. Walking up to the door I knock. Alex's sister answers and puts on a smile. "Ally, how great of you to come back." I smile and she looks down, "You heard." I sigh, "I saw." She pulls me into a hug and pulls away and smiles, "For what it's worth, I like you so much better. I know what you are here for and I don't blame you. I do wish it was you that my idiot brother had a baby with if he had to have one with anyone." I smile and hug her, "SO where is he?" She sighs, "His room. My parents are with the girl and kid."

I nod and head upstairs to the all familiar room. I knock on the door and take a deep breath before when I see the door open and Alex's warm smile staring at me. "Ally." He pulls me to him, "What are you doing here?" I sigh and go sit down on his bed.

Sighing he sits next to me and looks down, "Your.." I nod, "Alex, I'm so sorry. I do like you and even love you." He smiles up at me and I sigh, "I like you and I'm attracted to you big time but I love you because you are a safe zone for me." He looks down, "I don't understand." I look down, "Alex, you have always protected me and made me feel safe, For the first time I got upset and hurt over something you did. It was nothing you did initially but still." HE looks down even move, "Alex, I just think you need to try to figure this out with Bre." He nods.

I lift his chin and smile, "I loved being your girlfriend, you are amazing, sweet, caring and the total package. You just aren't the package for me." He nods, "I understand. It was always Austin." I smile and nod, "He is my soul mate and I can't help it that he drives me crazy and kills me but he's changed thanks to you." He smiles a little and hugs me, "Well I guess we are over huh?" I smile and nod. "Ally, can I get one last kiss?" I smile and lean in and he does too. Our lips meet and I still feel those sparks. He runs his hands up my back and tangles them in my hair. I moan and run my fingers up his abs making his groan. I smile and play with his hair. We pull back and he leans his forehead on mine, "You are wonderful Ally. I hope he knows it." I smile, "Well, you are too. "

He helps me up and I hug him, "You are still my best friend." He nods, "Like my letter said, nothing will change between us Ally." I smile and hug him again. I pull away and head to the door, "Ally?" I turn around, "yeah?" He looks down, "Did I ever have a chance?" I smile and nod, "Yeah, You always did." He smiles and kisses my cheek. "Get home to your baby."

Smiling I leave and wave bye to his parents and sister who watch me leave with a grim face. I smile and head home. I pull into my drive way and walk in to see Austin still on the couch watching another episode of How I met Your Mother.

Smiling I walk over and he looks up, "Did you take care of it?" I smile and nod. "Austin?" HE looks up, "yeah?" I lean down and crash my lips to his. He doesn't take any time to kiss back.

When we pull away he looks down, "But your with Alex." I shake my head, "No, I needed to end it. You always had my heart. You told me you were going to steal my heart back and you did." He smiles and kisses me again pulling me on his lap. "Ally, I'm so happy." I smile and he looks into my eyes, "Ally, will you be my girlfriend again?" I smile and nod before leaning down and kissing him again.

We pull away and he smiles, "I should get home." He goes to move but I shake my head, "Stay the night. Aubrey would love to see you in the morning." HE smiles and nods.

We walk upstairs and I get into a pair of shorts and keep the jersey on. I come out of my closet and see Austin in his boxers. He smiles, "Your wearing my jersey." I look down and realize it was the jersey he got his sophomore year for hockey. I laugh and shrug, "It's comfortable." He laughs and pulls me to the bed.

I get into bed and lay down while Austin snuggles up to me. "Ally?" He looks at me, "Nothing happened between you and Alex, did it?"
