A TV flickered on to show Quint. He was wearing a red cape and a crown on his head while standing in front of a bunch of couches. "I'm Crazy Quint, the Couch King, and my couches stand up to anything! Spilled soda?" He dumped some soda over a couch. "No problem! Monster guts?" He spilled some purple stuff over another couch. "Don't worry! Just watch!" Biggun sat on the couch next to him. "My couches stand up to anything!"

The commercial ended there as Dirk lifted up the lever, sending them all flying over to Big Al's. They continued screaming as they flew over the horde of zombies below them. Some zombies were flying with them as well, Jack and Quint glancing to each other. Dirk, May, and June screamed their heads off as they were approaching the sign. They soared over the entrance, and one by one, they hit a van. They landed on the ground, a bit banged up, but otherwise okay.

"D-Did we? Are we...?" Quint asked in slight pain.

"I think this is the afterlife," Jack groaned out.

"Uck, if this is the afterlife, the afterlife smells like wet hamsters," June spoke up, still on the ground.

"Uggh, get me out of this snuggly cocoon!" Dirk cried as May sat up.

"We're not in the afterlife, we actually made it inside!" She said and they all struggled to get out of their sleeping bags.

"Too snuggly! Too snuggly!" Dirk eventually ripped himself out of his, hugging himself in relief. He then sniffed the air. "Ew, it really does smell like wet hamsters."

They walked past the van once they were freed, staring up ahead. "It's...it's...it's even more beautiful than I imagined!" Jack gushed and May rolled her eyes at him.

"It's trash."

"He'd say that even if we were in the sewers," May whispered to June.

"Girls!" Jack protested at the duo. "It's our trash." He giggled while fanboying, and they both rolled their eyes.

"Knock yourself out, buddy. Now, Quint, we're here to find a—what is it again?" June wondered as she watched Quint already looking.

"A long-range signal-boosting antenna," Quint answered her while looking at a wheel and tossing it. He smiled as he held up a notebook, flipping through pages. "Apologies for the rough sketch, but it should help," He held up a blueprint of what it looked like.

"Doesn't look rough to me," May raised a brow at him.

"You can clearly see some smudges right there," He pointed to the picture, but she still couldn't find anything wrong with it.

"This is it, gang. Probably the most important thing we've ever done," June spoke up to her friends.

"More important than defeating Rezzoch, building a treehouse, bringing us together as a family, making friends with monsters, beating the highest level of Space Marauders," Jack said bitterly to himself, even though some of those things either didn't happen, or he did it on his own. "But, oh, sure, dumpster diving for an electric stick is absolutely the most important thing we've ever done."

"...Did you say something?" Quint stared at his best friend.

"Umm, no!" Jack denied quickly to them. "Must have been the, uh, trash settling," He chuckled nervously, hoping that no one heard what he actually said. "Uhh, anything else?"

"Keep your eyes peeled for that Goo-Ga-Zoo," Dirk told his friends. "I gotta get a picture of the little bug thingy for my second monster task," He held up a drawn picture of it. June moved the paper down to dismiss it.

"Enough lolly-gagging!"

"I'm not lolly-gagging, you're lolly-gagging," Jack muttered in a bitter tone once again.

"Break!" June ordered everyone and they all split up to different trash heaps to start looking. Quint held his hands out together as May ran towards him. She stepped on his hands and he gave her a boost. She did a small flip as she landed on top of the trash heap with ease. She started moving away things from up top. Jack ran past Quint, who got briefly frightened by a monster hiding in a hat. Dirk looked through some tires, finding a barbell and testing it. June held up what looked like a lamp and tossed it behind her.

"Ooh!" Jack said in interest and picked it up. The top fell and he spun it around like a staff.

"Keep your head in the game, Sullivan!" June warned him while glancing over her shoulder.

"No can do," He tossed the lamp part around, and it landed over his head. "Cause right now, my head is in a space helmet. Take me to your leader!"

"Ha! Nice!" Quint commented while carrying a box of junk. "Like our movie, Martian from Planet Mars."

"You sure this is gonna work?" He wondered while setting up the camera. He was dressed like the alien. "If the girls, especially you know who, see this, they're gonna think we're cool?" He asked hesitantly to Jack, who was dressed like an alien as well. "And like us?"

"Oh, totally!" Jack answered after pretending his fake laser gun was a real one. "Who doesn't love handmade cardboard special effects?" One of the props fell and he groaned.

"Aww, good luck with that one, guys," June remarked while May snickered to herself. Quint laughed a bit in embarrassment. He wasn't as mortified to tell May stuff like that anymore, but sometimes her reactions were still embarrassing...

"If you really need some advice even though it's the apocalypse, sometimes being yourself works just fine," May called out while tossing a broken bike wheel. They split up once again, Jack using his lamp stick like a golf club. The tin can landed in a laundry dryer, and he laughed in victory. A toaster landed behind him and he turned around to see Dirk and Quint approaching him.

"Bet you can't hit it that far, again," Dirk remarked, crossing his arms. Jack readied himself, shimmying around a few times before he finally hit it. It landed in the hood of a car this time. "Farther!"

"Aces!" Quint complimented while May slid down from the top of the garbage pile.

"Not bad, not bad," Dirk commented as June approached them.

"Guys!" She shouted at them all. "You're stinking up the place, and the place is a junkyard." Before May could argue, since she didn't even do anything, June tossed her a crowbar. "Let the ladies school ya!" May smirked and stood by her side, readying her makeshift golf club.

"Oh yeah, I'm gonna enjoy this!" May said happily as they both swung their targets in front of them, and all of them landed in various items. The girls turned to each other and high-fived. May spun around the crowbar and leaned on it a bit with a grin.

"Whoa!" The boys commented in awe.

"And that's how it's done," May blew a stray bang away from her face. "But then again, being in golf tournaments helped too."

"No one said we can't have fun while looking for the antenna," June stated while placing her spear behind her. The boys glanced to each other, beaming. Dirk and June both had on helmets, wearing big tires around them. Both of them charged at each other, bumping into each other and falling backwards.

June and Jack were on a team, throwing things at Dirk, May, and Quint. June clapped before Jack was hit in the face with a painting. May chuckled while low-fiving Dirk and Quint in unison. "No fair, it's three to two!" Jack whined a bit at them.

Dirk held up a car door, June kicking him to the ground while landing on a mattress. She cheered before Jack swung and bumped into her.

Together, they nailed and taped something. Jack fastened his seatbelt, all of them sitting to each other. "Grab anything awesome, that's ten points," June explained the rules as all of them were fastened to chairs, on the top of a big trash pile. "Grab anything wet, that's twenty points. And the antenna, well, that's all the points."

"Ready?" Quint asked with a big grin. "Set-"

"Surf!" Jack interrupted, using his slicer to push him forward. He cheered as he went down, followed by June, Dirk, May, and Quint. Jack surfed along some bars, grabbing a plastic flamingo for 10 points. Quint screamed as he bounced off some tires, grabbing what looked to be a plush for 10. Dirk moved down his arm, getting his arm stuck in a can of paint for 20.

"Ew, wet points! It's so not worth it!" He cried out as his hand was now stuck. June flew by and grabbed a trophy for ten. May flew off a small plank like a ramp with a cheer. She swooped down and grabbed a pail of dirty water. The smell hit her and she recoiled back in disgust.

"Ugh, gross!"

They continued sliding down the trash heap, a camera nearby. It took pictures of all of them crashing wit them having hilarious looks on their faces. They all laughed as they walked away from the heap they just slid down. Jack tossed the plastic flamingo behind him.

Dirk, Quint, and May laughed while bouncing on tires. "Ooh, this is a good one," June commented while reading a magazine next to Jack. "What is your boy band persona? Heartthrob? Emo? Bad boy? Or goofball?"

"Hmm," Jack rubbed his chin in thought. "Goofball, bad boy, crooner," He listed off and stood up. He took a bent spatula and used it as a fake microphone. "Hey, you, girl, I can be your boy~" He sung in a mocking way, a little worm monster peeking out from a can. "Cause I'm the key to your everything!" The worm turns out to be a flying one, squawking to hide so that it didn't have to hear Jack. "I'm the ham to your peanut butter sandwich~ Yeah, boy, I'm your girl!"

June laughed at his antics. "Oh, you're totally ready to go solo! Girl!" She giggled as he joined in on the laughter, going back to sit next to her. While doing so, he tossed the spatula, sighing a little. He glanced at the girl next to him, smiling by how happy she looked.

"This is great!" He grinned and she turned to him in confusion. "I don't wanna miss out on stuff like this."

"Miss out?" She closed the magazine. "Dude, this is kinda, like, all we do."

"Well, you know, a lot's happened, lately. The radio, and that monster King Wretch is still out there being all," He mimicked a screech. "You know."

"What's that got to do with us?" She raised a brow in confusion.

"Ugh," He looked down at his arm, as the scratch from his encounter with the wretch was still there. And it didn't show any signs of going away anytime soon. He rubbed at it in guilt, as he was still keeping that to himself.

"Jack, did something happen?" She wondered in concern.

"No!" He deflected immediately, moving away his wrist so that she didn't look. "No...but...but with all that's changing and maybe, you know, about to change," He looked away sadly, remembering that when they got the radio to work, he might never see them again. She stood up and looked into his eyes. "There's one thing that will never change for me...I-I-"

"Found it!" Quint shouted, interrupting the moment. "Antenna!"

"Are you serious?!" June exclaimed at him happily.

"Ugh, are you serious?" Jack asked bitterly, but no one seemed to notice.

"You better be serious!" June rushed over to the antenna. "If you're anything less than 100 percent serious!" Quint laughed, Jack looking at his wrist while they celebrated. He examined the injury again and sighed. He just couldn't bring himself to tell them...

June snatched the antenna from Quint, looking at it with a big smile. "Whoa, sticky fingers!" Dirk commented at this.

"The antenna will still be intact whether you grab it or not," May teased the girl.

"Sorry. Is it okay if...I'm just gonna hold onto it, for now," June picked up a dirty blanket. "You know, for safekeeping, and all?" She wrapped the antenna in a blanket, cradling it almost like a baby. May looked a bit weirded out.

"Uhh, sure," Quint looked just as unnerved as she did, turning both her and Dirk around. "If she starts whispering to it and gives it a name, let me know."

"I'd rather not say anything if I ever see that, but hey, your choice," May shrugged it off as they walked away. Jack let out a sigh as he hoped they'd never find it, but they did...and now he was left with the growing feeling of abandonment...

"Find antenna, check," Quint murmured as they walked together. "Next up, affix antenna to radio. Let's get this home."

"Not yet," Dirk spoke up, alarming Jack. "Still gotta get a photo with the Goo-Ga-Zoo."

"Uh, right," Jack ran past the others, smiling. "Dirk and his Goop-a-loop thing. We-we can't just radio and run." The others glanced at each other as at this point, he was just stalling for time. "Luckily, boing!" He held up a light bulb. "Idea! We stay!"

"Light bulbs don't go boing, Jack," Quint stared at his best friend.

"Plus the fact that you held up a light bulb over your head for an idea is redundant," May pointed out, crossing her arms.

Jack used his eyes and head to send signals to Quint. He looked at the ground and then he got the gist. "Oh. Oh, oh, oh! Sleeping bags. Sleeping over. Junkyard sleepover!" He cheered while joining Jack's side.

"Rad," June commented with a small laugh.

"Yes!" Quint cheered as May smiled.

"You had me at s'mores!"

"Hurley is pumped!" Dirk patted his growling stomach.

Meanwhile, Bardle was still meditating while being surrounded by candles. He moved his head around in a panic and then groaned. "I miss my couch," He whined as he was on the floor, and it just didn't feel the same to him.

The group raided an office, June breaking off the lock. Jack opened the door and then found several snacks, snatching a box of poptarts. June opened up a drawer to grab gummy bears, Dirk grabbing a can. Quint opened a drawer to find marshmallows, and May found some chocolate bars. Quint received marshmallows on top of the chocolate. He placed gummy bears inside and took a bite. Everyone else did as well, humming at the taste. They toasted more marshmallows from the toolbox-like fire.

"Truth or dare?" June asked Quint, who rubbed his chin. His marshmallow was basically a flame.

"Hmm," He blew out the flame. "Okay...truth."

"What's your biggest secret?" Dirk asked him in a mysterious way and he flinched, blushing.

"Mm?" May looked up from her s'more as the biggest secret was his crush on her. But obviously he couldn't say that out loud.

"U-Um, okay. You know how teachers have their own bathroom?" He pressed his fingers together.

"Oh ho, ho, ho, no!" Jack butted in with a smirk. "That's not your biggest secret."

"Someone's being a chicken," May teased him as he stood up with a gasp.

"Jack! We vowed never to speak of that again," He gave Jack a warning look to not say what Quint was thinking he would say.

"Fire alarm to impress-"

"No!" Quint tackled him to the ground. "No! No!"

Jack just laughed it off though. "Quint triggered a fire alarm with a remote control drone to get out of class! And to impress a cheerleader in school," He smirked up at his friend, because he wouldn't dare tell May that Quint did it to get her attention. May looked a little annoyed to hear that, though.

"Oh, wait," June laughed while standing up. "You did that?"

"We had to run the mile!" He protested at her. "I told Mr. Hofstettler that I would happily walk the mile, but he said no, walking is for walkers. And anyone who ever got anywhere in life ran the mile, and ran it happily."

"Huh, that fire alarm stunt was amazing!" Dirk smiled widely at him.

"Oh. Oh, thanks!"

"Only because you wanted to get out of class too," May murmured loud enough for Dirk to hear and he grunted.

"Also, Mr. Hofstettler is a zombie now. So you kinda got the last laugh on that one," June reminded Quint.

"I guess. But it was a secret, Jack Sullivan," Quint glared at Jack. "Especially the cheerleader thing. You have secrets too, you know."

"Uhh, let's move onto May!" Jack said quickly, who raised a skeptical brow.

"Hard pass."

"Come on, you're the only one who hasn't had a turn yet," He goaded her, nudging her arm a bit. "Besides, I've got a really good one~ Truth or dare?"

She sighed, rolling her eyes to the back of her head. If she didn't, it'd be all she'd heard about from them for probably forever. "Fine, let's get it over with. Uh, truth?" Quint gave Jack a suspicious look as he didn't like where this was going.

"What do you think of Quint? Do you think he's cool?" Jack smirked and Quint's eyes went comically wide. Dirk and June opened their mouths in surprise.

"JACK!" Quint yelled in protest. May stared between the two of them, clearing her throat as a tiny blush was on her face.

"Uhh...maybe? I don't know, he's, uh...wait, um..." She then looked to the ground. "Yeah, he's pretty cool."

"So something finally comes to light," June smirked widely at her while Quint looked at her with an open mouth. Dirk and Jack glanced to each other in surprise that she actually answered the question. June, Dirk, and Jack all grinned as they had something up their sleeve.

"Alright, my turn! Truth or dare, May?" Dirk said in a cheerful way.

"What? Again?! This is NOT how you play this-"

"I'd choose wisely, May," Dirk interrupted her in an intense way. "Otherwise we'll make your life a nightmare."

"Truth! Oh my god, you guys are so pushy," She looked away in disbelief.

"C-Can we stop this?" Quint stammered and Jack put an arm in front of him.

"Nope."

"The other day, when Quint was working in his nerd lab, were you or were you not staring at him from the treehouse?" Dirk grinned while jerking a thumb to Quint, who glared so hard he could make holes in their heads.

"What is wrong with you?"

May frowned deeply while blushing, as she didn't even know Dirk noticed... "Mmm..."

For the next 20 minutes, this continued with them asking May questions to mess with both her and Quint. And she had to answer or else she'd face teasing for weeks which was not needed. Sure, she could put up with it, but she figured to get it over with...or at least she thought she could. Eventually, she did give up.

"I did not run away from home during a zombie/monster apocalypse to be embarrassed by you people!" She shouted while her entire face was red, covering her face with her hands. She was in a fetal position on the floor. "Why did we play this horrible game?!" She cried out as they had finally broken her. Quint glared at the three, who looked sheepish. "Nnnnnnggggggggggg...I didn't even think about him in that way until weeks ago!"

"I hope you guys are happy with yourselves," Was all he could say to them.

"But at least you know she likes you," Jack said while patting him on the back, and Quint froze. May...actually liked him...she was too busy being mortified right now to realize that he knew, though.

"Heh, it took him that long to realize it," June giggled at Quint's baffled face.

"We could've eased up on that a little bit instead of forcing it...our bad," Dirk rubbed his neck while May was still VERY embarrassed.

"What is friendshiiiiiiip?" May lamented while still on the ground. Jack grabbed some marshmallows to put them into her mouth.

"Marshmallow fight!" Jack cried out as he tossed them around. May spit hers out and they ran around tossing them at each other. The group laughed, June throwing a marshmallow at Dirk's head. He caught inside of his mouth.

"Hey!" She protested at this.

"Time! Time out!" Quint shouted as he covered his eyes with his hand. "Marshmallow in my eye. Marshmallow in my eye! I think a marshmallow detached my retina!"

"Huh?" They all stared at him, concerned.

"The pain! The pain! The pain I'm going to inflict on you all," He turned around to reveal that he actually had a marshmallow shooter. He laughed as he opened fire on all of them.

"Hey! No fair!" May giggled as they all ran for cover, continuing to have their marshmallow war. The fire eventually went out, and Dirk was snoring.

"Goo-Ga-Zoo," he murmured in his sleep.

"No, no, not another task," Quint panicked in his sleep. May rubbed her eye, her hair a mess as she glanced at him. He moved around in the sleeping bag. "My head will explode. You'll have to add affix Quint's head to my to do list."

She gave a weak smile, knowing what he was dreaming about. She moved closer to him and held his hand, the boy starting to calm down. She let out a small sigh as she closed her eyes, falling back asleep. "May..." He murmured dreamily in his sleep and she smiled, blushing.

Meanwhile, Jack was looking up at the stars, as he couldn't sleep. He was thinking too much about how the radio would affect his friendship with them. He looked towards June, who had the antenna near her while sleeping. Something then flew over her and he looked up in alarm.

"What the huh?" He whispered to himself, but he couldn't see anything. The boy hugged himself and then pulled away his glove. The scar was still on his wrist...he frowned and then looked up at June. "Hey, June, you still up?"

"Yep," She answered, even though her eyes were still closed.

"I liked toady," He confessed while looking away. "I like right now."

"Mm-hmm," She agreed in a sleepy tone.

"...Is it...is it lame that this might have been one of the best days of my life?" He wondered with a smile. She opened her eyes then, turning around with a smile of her own.

"Not lame."

"...What was your favorite day?" He asked her curiously. "You know, since...everything."

She looked up at the stars in thought. "Honestly...it was when we heard the voices on the radio, when I realized there was still hope," She smiled happily, glancing away. "Although making up with May was a close second. I didn't think that after everything, we'd become friends again."

He smiled and she closed her eyes. "June? Can I confess something?" He let out a heavy sigh. "When you guys get the radio working, you'll get in touch with other people, maybe even your parents. Then our team, this weird family thing, I-it'll never be the same again. We'll get split up forever...that scares me more, so much more, than the giant flying monster. Look, I know what it feels like to be tossed aside. I don't wanna feel that again," He leaned back and closed his eyes. "Can you do me a favor and lie to me? Promise me things won't change. Y-You don't have to mean it," He let out another sigh. "It'd just be nice to feel like this isn't the end of the end of the world for me...I'm, uh, sorry, June, I shouldn't have said all that...June?" He glanced at the girl, who at this point had fallen asleep. "Probably for the best," He glanced away; at least he had technically told someone. He rubbed his wrist and went to sleep, not that it meant much.

A monster roared while flying over the group.

Jack gasped sharply as he woke up, hitting the side of his head. "Ah, man, pebbles in the ear." He then flinched as he realized he was alone, looking around. "Um, Quint? This isn't the junkyard," He seemed to be in a neighborhood, but he didn't recognize it. He walked and looked at the ground, seeing some discarded junk. "Ugh, ugh! Ugh, it smells like...evil," He looked up and saw Joe's Pizza, which was dilapidated and abandoned, just like everything else. "Oh, where is everybody?" He wondered as paper flew past him. He opened up the doors, and everything was a wreck. He then looked freaked out as a pile of monsters...were dead.

"No! No, no, no, no! No! Biggun! Bardle! Skaelka!" He picked up her axe while kneeling on the ground. "My friends!" He lamented and his voice echoed. He cried while looking around, walking up to a familiar pile on the ground. "Rover?" He dropped the axe and while crying, ran out the door. He panted in fear, looking up ahead as fire was burning everything to the ground. "It's the end of the end of the world! The treehouse!"

He ran over to it, but it was also on fire. "Dirk! Quint! Can you hear me? May! June!" He shouted in a panic, but he got no response. "Guys? Are you in there? Quint?!" He growled and ran, going up the ladder. The ladder slipped from the flames and he fell to the ground. He then heard a roar, standing up and turning around. He screamed as King Wretch was right behind him, and he stared at Jack menacingly.

"Ah! Please stop! Stop! Why are you doing this?!" He cried out as the fire fell around him. King Wretch simply screeched and he held up his wrist that had the scar. It started glowing blue and he held it out. "What did you do to me?!" He fell back as King Wretch stepped closer, sliding away. He tried to reach for his slicer, but didn't have it on him. He whimpered as the monster got even closer.

"Jack...!" a faint female voice called out to him.

He yelped and opened his eyes, panting as it was already morning. "Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you!" He turned around in relief to see his friends okay. "I love you, real world!" He kissed the tire in front of him. "I love you, ground! I love you, caramel nut bar!" He kissed the wrapped, but it got stuck to his mouth. It fell, with some old caramel dripping from his mouth. "Ugh, gross." He looked around to make sure no one was watching before he slurped it. "Eh, medium gross." He groaned as he stretched. "No better feeling than waking up and realizing it was all just a..." He paused as King Wretch was actually present this time, looking down at them. "Nightmare."

It screeched and Jack backed away, the wretch's eyes glaring down at him. "What do you want with me?!" He demanded, pointing up at the monster as it flew away. "Why do you keep entering my brain uninvited?! A man's head is like his home, a castle! I don't like evil in my castle!" A hand touched him from behind and he turned around, screaming. Quint screamed right back at him.

"What?!" June and Dirk immediately got out of their sleeping bags, ready to attack. May sat up in alarm, looking at her friends. "Who's attacking? Jinx! No! Not doing that again. Jinx!"

"Please don't get into that argument again," May deadpanned at the two.

"Uh, nobody's attacking," Jack denied to his friends, May slipping out of her sleeping bag. "There is no giant wretch, uhh, or anything else attacking. Quint just scared the bejeeze out of me. You came out of nowhere."

"Quint scared you?" May raised a brow skeptically.

"Yeah! He did!" Jack scoffed while looking away, the girl rolling her eyes to the back of her head.

"If I question it, I'm just gonna be more confused..." She murmured while closing her eyes.

"Apologies for my puma-like reflexes," Quint smiled at him.

"Man, your screaming interrupted a good dream! I found the Goo-Ga-Zoo, and also, TV was a thing again," Dirk stated in disappointment while slamming something to the ground. Quint led May away a bit, June staring at them questionably.

"May, do you plan on telling the others about the letter?" Quint asked her slowly and she flinched in alarm.

"What?!" She exclaimed and then sighed slowly to snap out of it. "...I don't know, maybe? But at the same time, it might not mean anything. I don't wanna cause any more panic than it's bringing me," She held up the envelope to the sky. June rubbed her chin at the letter, as she couldn't read it. "And it might cause a panic when we have other things to focus on."

"It's not like they wouldn't be concerned about both this and the radio," He pointed out and she looked away. "It's your choice, May."

"Thanks," She smiled weakly and then the ground started shaking. Dirk pulled out the stick, which had purple goo at the bottom. He then tossed it to June, pointing at her.

"June did it."

She dropped the stick in disgust and the ground shook again, all of them wobbling. The ground started to rise, Quint flailing his arms around. "Guys, this isn't just a scrap heap," Jack slowly realized once the shaking stopped. "It's something else. Something we didn't invite to the sleepover." He opened up a fridge door and an eye opened up. "A ginormous monster!"

The monster snarled and they screamed while running down the garbage pile. Trash started falling all around them, the fridge landing in front of them. They turned around briefly before running off again, as tentacles formed from underneath them. A head popped out and the monster screamed, wrecking things. Dirk yelped while looking up, the others hiding. The monster then focused on the garbage, Dirk staring at it. Something about it seemed familiar to him.

"Wait. "Goo-Ga-Zoo?!" He held up the drawing as it thought it'd be tinier...He looked between the monster and the drawing, groaning. "Ohh, Chef Monster is such a jerk!"

"That thing's like the Kraken!" Quint winced as they stared.

"But made of scrap!"

"Scrapken!" June grinned and May groaned while pinching her nose.

"That's so cringey..." She murmured to herself.

"Yes! Superb naming!" Quint exclaimed with a smile.

"Scrapken," Jack turned back to it. "Five eyes, which is five too many. Snappin' crackin' tenacles. Uhh, just woke up face." Scrapken snarled and hit more piles of garbage, sending it flying. They ran off to go hide behind another huge pile of trash. "Quint! How do we get outta here?"

"What?! Why do I have to think of everything?" Quint protested while narrowing his eyes.

"Uhh, I don't know, cause you're smartsy," Jack explained and May facepalmed at this.

"Jack...don't get him started," She rolled her eyes to the back of her head.

"I have ten other things on my list to think about!" Quint held his head, walking away. May gestured to Quint while looking at Jack, annoyed that he set the boy off. He sighed as May patted his back comfortably. "Fine. We hide in the trailer," He gestured to a trailer up ahead. He then cringed as the trailer got completely decimated by the Scrapken. "Oh! My overworked brain nearly led to our demise! This is exactly why-"

"No more words!" Dirk interrupted before Quint could start panicking again. "Unless those words are about how we get out of here!" Dirk held him, shaking him a bit.

"Here's some words for you guys," May stepped between them, taking a deep breath. "Did either of you not think that the Scrapken could hear you?!" She snapped at the boys and they winced. Then the Scrapken attacked them just like she said and they ran off. Dirk ducked his head from a tentacle, yelping as it swung its tentacle. He slid to a stop, gritting his teeth. He then hid behind a truck with the others. He glanced back and held up the camera, snapping a photo.

"Task two, complete," He glanced back at the Scrapken, going back into hiding right before a tentacle could hurt him. They looked up ahead at the fence.

"We gotta get over that wall," June narrowed her eyes.

"Or...through the wall!" Jack pointed to the chained up door.

"Right! If we can get the Scrapken to hit the wall-"

"Instant doorway!" Dirk finished as they all smirked.

"We'll need to get his attention," May told everyone while eyeing the wall.

"Hey, monster breath!" June used a traffic cone as a megaphone while all of them were making noise with various items.

"Down here, Octo-goon!" Dirk mocked the Scrapken.

"You smell like Jack's old underwear!"

"Don't compliment the thing!" Jack protested at June.

"A, not a compliment, and b, not what we're going for," May said before whistling with her fingers. "Come and get us, trash slug!"

"Scrapken!" Quint held up a traffic cone. "You are a formidable foe! We eagerly await a whacking!" The Scrapken took the bait and threw a car towards them. All of them ran out of the way while the car went through the wall, creating an exit...where zombies came in. They ran to hide behind a car, as they forgot all about the zombies in front of the entrance.

"Aw, man! The plan stinks!" Jack whined at this, Scrapken letting out a big roar. It slammed the ground with one of its tentacles, knocking several zombies away from him. They looked up ahead to see the couch-a-pult still inside Big Mama's trunk. "Yay! The plan's good again!"

"Move! Move!" Dirk pointed and June finally realized...she didn't have the antenna on her.

"Wait! No! No, no, no, no! The antenna!" She looked around in a panic.

"When did you have it last?" Quint wondered as they searched. June groaned while facepalming.

"Gee, Mom, I don't know, on the scrap mountain! ...On the scrap mountain!" She gasped as...they'd have to get past the Scrapken. And lo and behold, when they looked past the Scrapken, they could see the antenna right behind the monster.

"There!"

June ran for it without even saying a word. "June!" Jack called out to her.

"It's too dangerous! We at least need a plan!" May called out in worry. The Scrapken noticed her and used a tentacle to send her flying. Jack caught her and looked up, glaring.

"May, take June," He passed June over to the girl and he ran off himself.

"Jack! No!" Quint panicked while holding his head.

"Get to Big Mama!" He called out to them while pulling out his slicer. "I'll be okay!" He then tripped ad fell on his face. "See? Look how okay I am!" He replied while glancing back at his friends. They all still looked worried for him though, especially because the zombies were now walking in.

"We gotta move!" Dirk picked up a tier and ran for the zombies, using the tire as a ram to knock them down. Jack stood up, running for the Scrapken. As Quint and May took off, June looked back at Jack, still concerned for him. He slid past a tentacle, running up to the body. June gasped and ran in his direction. She stood onto some junk and used her staff as a golf club. She started hitting the Scrapken with various stuff and he growled. Jack slid over to a pile of trash, which was then knocked over soon after. He grabbed the antenna, smiling. "Gotcha!"

"Yeah-ha-ha!" June cheered and then yelped, jumping just before the Scrapken could hit her. Jack ran off as well, looking at some zombies around the area. They all got trampled thanks to the Scrapken, Jack rolling to a stop. He looked at the antenna in annoyance.

"I hate you, antenna!" He groaned, looking up at some zombies heading over to him. "Oh no!" He ran up to a truck and got inside. "Yes!" He smiled as he tried turning the ignition, but it didn't start. "Aw, no!" He yelped as a zombie came out of the hood, snarling while pressing his face to the window. Jack looked at the zombies right outside the window. "Beat it, you brainless bozos!" He rolled up the window, more zombies surrounding the car. Jack whimpered as he didn't roll the window all the way up, and one of them grabbed his arm. "No touching. No touching!" He scrambled towards the back seat, setting off the horn with his foot. The Scrapken turned around to him and he whimpered. The monster grabbed the car, lifting it up with its tentacle. The zombies all fell to the ground and he looked to the hula girl statue. "Don't worry, hula girl. We'll get through this together!" He tried to remove the seatbelt, but it was stuck. The Scrapken lifted the car so that Jack could see its angry eyes.

"Two seconds, Scrap-Dude. Just give me two seconds!" Jack pleaded while trying to get out, and then put on the seatbelt just as the Scrapken threw the car. "Hold on, hula girl!" He shouted at the top of his lungs, his friends looking up as the car flew over their heads. "I don't think I'm tall enough for this riiiiiide!" Meanwhile, the hula girl just kept swaying. He screamed as the car finally landed inside a store. He sighed in relief as he wasn't hurt, and then the air bag deployed. He sighed in relief again, taking the antenna. "Hula girl!" He smiled at the ornament. "We made it-" Both air bags deployed this time into his face and he pushed them down. "Will you stop already?!" He then laughed while holding up the antenna.

He heard skates and turned to the zombie waitress skating past. It then landed and he could only stare. "Okay then..." He jumped out of the car, placing down the antenna. He sighed as he looked towards the city, the sun setting. Then a sharp pain came from his wrist. "Ow, ow, ow!" He looked to see the scar glowing blue and he gripped it. He groaned in pain as King Wretch screeched while landing on the building across from him. It used its hypnotic eyes on Jack, which showed him the fire dream from before. "Oh, not again!"

King Wretch roared from on top of the destroyed Joe's Pizza. "You think you got dibs on me and my friends' future, King Wretch?" He asked bravely, earning another screech. He looked at his wrist and then rubbed it. "YOU DON'T! I'm gonna figure out what you want with me, and I'm gonna stop you!"

The dream ended as Big Mama stopped in front of him. "You're okay!" Quint cheered as King Wretch flew away, therefore they didn't see it.

"Yes, I will be," Jack said in anger.

"Whoa, I know you got thrown in a car, but when did that equal Angry Jack?" May raised a brow. Then the sign started to fall and he caught the antenna, stepping away just barely in time. June sighed in relief at this.

"That was too close."

"Let's trot," Dirk jerked a thumb behind him. "The zombie squad isn't far behind."

"Gotcha!" Jack nodded and got in. Dirk then drove off, backing up so that Jack could...get the hula girl. Then they left the diner, the car falling onto the street.

"Everyone together now!" Quint chanted to the others. "Best..."

"Sleepover ever!" They all cheered in unison happily. June took the antenna from Jack.

"I'll say!" She smiled softly at Jack. "Let's get crackin' on this bad boy!"

"And I'll get crackin' on the King Wretch's skull," Jack whispered to himself, Quint and May turning to him.

"What?"

"You say something, dude?" May raised a brow.

"I didn't say anything. I was just thinking...thinking that it's time to face this problem once and for all..." June, May, and Quint all stared at him while he crossed his arms.

"Okay, that time, you absolutely said something."

"Nope, that was the wind," Jack denied yet again.

"Uhh..." Quint responded awkwardly as May glanced away, whistling lowly.

"Who are you gonna believe, me or the non-existent wind?" Jack retorted back, cracking his neck and growling. "Me or the non-existent wind?" June and Quint looked to each other, deciding to drop it for now, but May still had her doubts.

"Gonna go with you saying something that you don't want us to know about," She guessed correctly, leaning back with her arms crossed. Jack just looked annoyed by this until he thought of something, smirking.

"Hey, should we play Truth or Dare again while heading home? I'm sure that May has some explaining to do about last time," He said casually and she blushed. She then glanced up at Quint, who was blushing while looking at her. She immediately covered her face with her hair, sliding down her seat.

"No-ho-hooooooo..." She cried out in embarrassment, June giggling a little. "You're terrible, you know that?"

Meanwhile, above them, the dark clouds formed together to reveal an ominous face...

Angel: Sorry that this story kinda disappeared again, I got a new job, so I'm trying to prepare for it. Plus I'm working on some semi-original projects I guess you could call them. Also, there have been some Spanish reviews on other stories telling me to change stories that have been over for like a year, and...no? If you aren't satisfied with the final product, fine, I can't please everyone. But in no shape or form will I make edits to stories that have been done for over a year, because I'm already busy enough. If people don't like what I put out, either don't read it or write it in a way that satisfies you.

Sorry that I'm busy in life, I don't write stories 24/7 lol. If I did, I'd go insane.
