"Yah," Kate replied, " get this media circus out of here; this is a trial, not the Ball dropping in Times Square on New Year's Eve. Give us some privacy."

"But…." The reporter started.

"I don't care that he's a famous writer; today he's just a man asking for justice. Now, get out of here before we have you arrested." Kate strode up the steps and disappeared inside the courthouse.

"How do you navigate that zoo?" She asked.

"I don't; I go around them." Castle answered.

"Not very helpful. I think it's time to go in."

Rick did not focus on the proceedings until Kate's testimony.

"We had no leads until her husband steered us in the right direction; he was instrumental in the case. The evidence led us to Mr. Cooper. " She left the witness stand.

The jury did not need ample time for deliberation.

"How do you find the defendant?" The judge asked.

"Guilty."

"Wait up!" Castle called and ran towards Kate.

"What?" She turned around to face him.

"Thank you, for everything." He responded.

"Always." She replied and headed out of the courthouse."
