HIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII :3 I just watched the season finale for the legend of korra and it was awesome! Im not gonna spoil it though. I don't have much to say so, to the story!
Dib's P.O.V.
I was definitely not expecting what Flora had just told me. Get her PAK removed? Was that even possible? "Allow me to explain," the stranger said, "I'm Zap, by the way. PAK technician and Flora's cousin. You see, Flora has human organs, meaning she doesn't have a squeedilyspooch like other Irkens. Her body is rejecting her PAK, because it's trying to do the jobs that her organs can already do. Her PAK is acting out, with hologram failure and whatnot, and it's just getting in the way of her memory recollection. Also, and this is just a guess, I believe that the PAK is interfering with her connection with Rava, and preventing her from going into the avatar state. I came to this conclusion after hours of research on the avatar, mixed with my knowledge of the PAK, so I don't know how much of it is true." I nodded slowly, taking all this information in. I looked over at Zim, and almost burst out laughing. I think he got lost at 'Flora's cousin'. "So you're saying that she doesn't have the SUPERIOR IRKEN ORGANS?" Zim asked.
"I'm saying her brain exists outside of a backpack." Zap replied.
"How will you be able to remove my PAK exactly?" Flora asked.
"Well, it has only been done once, but it will take major surgery." Zap said. Flora gulped nervously. "Do you want to go through with that?" he asked.
Flora nodded. "Anything to get my memory back." Everyone looked at her like she was crazy, including me. She looked at us. "Would any of you want to not remember anything from your childhood?"
"I don't remember anything before when I was five." I commented.
"You still know who Gaz is and who your parents are." She replied. That shut me up.
"Plus," she added, "If I can get my memory back, I can most likely find Jaki." Zap's eyes lit up with hope.
"Well I don't have the tools for you to perform major surgeries here." Alexis pointed out.
"That's what I was thinking about. I could take Flora to the Massive." Zap replied.
"Not without us you're not!" Mabel shouted. I had almost forgotten that she was there.
"She's right," I agreed.
"For once, Dib-stink, it appears that we have an agreement." Zim said.
"I don't know if all of you would fit in my voot." Zap said, thinking.
"What's the maximum occupancy?" Alexis asked.
"One."
"Oh."
"How many people are coming?"
"Uh…" Alexis had to think about it. "11." She confirmed.
"Ok." Zap then pulled out a watch- no, a communicator. He flipped open the top and pressed a few buttons. A female Irken answered the call, no older than 18. She had curved antennae with a spiked design at the tips. She also had dark green freckles scattered across her cheeks and nose. "Hi Zap. What's up?" she asked the technician.
"Hey Ginger. Can I get one of the new models for the voot please?"
"The one that holds one person or fourteen?"
"Fourteen, please. Oh and we're going to have eleven new people on the Massive. Can you tell someone to prepare eleven rooms?"
"No problem. Your new voot should arrive sometime this week."
"Thanks." Zap replies, and the transmission is cut. "Okay, all of you should go home and pack some clothes. It's going to be a long trip." We all nod and go our separate ways. I walk into my own doorway to see Gaz on the couch. "Hey Gaz. I'm home."
"Shh." She says, absorbed in a game.
"Nice to see you too. Anyway, I need to go out of town for a while. I don't know when I'll be back. Uh, take care of the cat for me please?"
"We have a cat?" she asked. I rolled my eyes. At least we used to. I walked into my room to pack. By the time I was finished, it was around 10:00 and I was beat. I wrapped myself in my covers ant drifted off into a dreamless sleep.
Flora's P.O.V.
I had only been asleep for a few minutes, but that didn't stop the nightmares. It started out with me in space. I was standing on top of the northern lights. In front of me stood, no, floated, me, except this version of me was giant, florescent green, and glowing. In her hands was a florescent glowing green ball of swirling light. I started walking towards it, and the ground underneath me disintegrated, and I fell.
The scene around me changed. I stood in a bedroom, that I recognized as mine from my flashback. There was a small TV in the corner. I grabbed the remote and turned it on. The screen showed Irkens fighting, and some even dying. I wanted to look away, but I couldn't. Then the screen showed an Irken- a female – killed by another Irken with a sword. A few seconds later, an awful realization hit me. The Irken that was killed was Jaki, and I was watching the Invader Games. This is all a dream, I told myself.
My bedroom dissolved, and I was standing in the Tallests' room again. I shrunk to the size of a smeet, and Tallest Red was towering over me. When he talked, his voice didn't belong to him. It was raspy and snake-like, and surprisingly could belong to either a boy or girl. His smile was menacing, and sent a chill up my spine. You will never be able to save those you love most, it hissed, and you will never fit in. you will always be an outsider., I wanted to hide, but the room had become bare, with blinding lights shining down on us that were brighter than the sun. The scene around me changed again.
This time I was back on Earth, or at least what had been left of it. The ground is covered in rubble, a cloud of dust swirling over the ground. Ahead there were lumps of cloth scattering the walkway. I walked up to one and turned it over. It wasn't a lump of cloth. It was a person, and to my horror, it was someone I recognized. Dib. I put my hand up to his neck. No pulse. Tears started streaming down my face. Then, the scene changed for the last time, and I was in my bedroom in Alexis's base, screaming.
Alexis's P.O.V.
The screams woke me up. I rushed to Flora's room, wondering what had happened. I burst through the door, fully awake now. "What happened?!" I asked, looking around the room. She didn't answer. She was upright in her bed, hugging her legs tightly. Her shoulders were shaking. She was crying. I rushed over her and sat on the edge of her bed. "What's wrong? Nightmares?" I asked gently. She nodded slightly, never lifting her head out of her arms. "Do you want to talk about it?" she shook her head. I hugged her tightly. "Shhh, it's okay, it was just a dream." I said somewhat awkwardly. What was I supposed to do? I've never seen her break down like this. A few minutes later, her shaking ceased, and her eyes were red. "Sorry." Is all she said.
"Don't be. We all get nightmares. Are you okay?"
"Yeah."
"Good." I looked out the window where light was just starting to fill the room. "Want to go get some breakfast?"
"Yeah." She replied, a small smile on her face.
Happy ending! Yay! Oh and since I didn't write the other chappies near thanksgiving really, HAPPY THANKSGIVING! XD even though it's like a week after thanksgiving… ANYWAYS BYE!
