"Oh my," Loki breathed, "I had not realized that your friends kept such interesting company, brother."
"The boy?" Thor frowned, "A mere stripling. I see no cause for any fascination. Leave him be, brother."
"And why would I wish to do that?" Loki raised an eyebrow.
With a wicked grin Loki moved to sit near the boy.
"I would ask your lineage," Loki declared, "But your countenance favours your father."
"So I have been told." The boy replied.
"Do you have his nature as well?"
"Of course." The boy smiled, "Lie-Smith."
"Though I did not expect to see one of your Line." Loki continued, "I had heard rumours of an Oath sworn. One that could not be broken."
"Indeed there was." The boy nodded, "But as you can see, it was broken."
"And what price did your father pay for the breaking?"
"None that I know of." The boy shrugged, "Though he was not the first to break it. Which may have had some effect."
"So which one of your uncles was?"
"Which one do you think couldn't keep it in his pants?"
"I should have realized." Loki sighed, "It must drive his wife insane."
"Don't talk to me about her." The boy shuddered, "But yeah. He was the first. There's three of us who break the Oath with our existence."
"All three?"
"No."
"Not twice?"
"With the same woman."
"Odin-sleep!" Loki face-palmed.
"In both of his natures." The boy added.
"You know about that?" Loki blinked, "I thought you weren't meant to."
"Things change." The boy smirked, "Besides I'd never have met my cousins otherwise."
"Unusual for your kind to claim them as such."
"I've never really been one for rules or conventions. Bit of a free spirit." The boy shrugged, "Rather like yourself, I believe. You do remind me of one of my father's friends."
"Which one?" Loki smiled.
"He works in the Postal Industry." The boy replied cryptically.
"I think I shall take that as a compliment." Loki retorted after a moment's pause.
"Given his other predilections," The boy grinned, "Most wouldn't. But you probably would."
"I like you." Loki declared.
"I think I could come to like you too." The boy shrugged, "Only issue I have, is that you remind me more of my father friend's son, than himself."
"And why is that a problem?"
"Luke had daddy issues too."
"I do not have daddy issues!" Loki snarled.
"You have so many issues with Odin," The boy fired back, "You could fill a library with them."
"Odin is not my father!"
"Did he raise you?" The boy rose to his feet with an odd sort of grace, "Be there for you? Read you stories? Try to teach you to be a man? I won't ask if he succeeded. I get the feeling that the kind of man you were always meant to be was completely different from what he wanted."
"He tried. But he always favoured Thor. I was never his son." Loki snapped, "I was just a stolen artefact."
"You were another man's blood son." The boy shrugged, "I would wager that he still treated you better than my step-father did. He beat me when I refused to give him money. Which he then used to gamble. Treated my mother like some kind of slave and hit her. Blamed me for anything that went wrong. I'd say your life couldn't have been worse than that. You were a Prince. I was an unwanted burden. At least by Smelly Gabe."
"And your real father?" Thor interrupted.
"Lost at Sea." The boy was strangely proud, "That's what my mother always said when I was little… These days? He calls me his favourite son. Even over his legitimate son."
"If your step-father treated you so horribly," Loki frowned, "Why did your mother stay with him?"
"I told you he was smelly." The boy raised an eyebrow, "My mother would sacrifice anything for my safety."
"A brave and intelligent woman." Loki seemed to concede, "But I do not have daddy issues."
"Then look me in the eye and tell me that you did not do what you did because you were seeking in some warped way for Odin's approval."
Loki matched gaze with the boy for a long moment. Before turning away.
"You're not interesting anymore."
"You mean I see past your deceptions." The boy shrugged, "You know the thing that sticks with me about Luke? Despite everything… He still loved his father. Wanted to show him just how incredible he could be. The worst part was that his father loved him as well. He just didn't know how to show it. But then again, that's a common failing amongst my father's friends."
Loki's steps faltered for a moment, but then he continued to stride away.
"What is your name, child?" Thor almost demanded.
"Percy." The boy grinned, "Percy Jackson."
"Son of Jack," Thor started, "How do you know my brother?"
"I am not the son of Jack." Percy replied, "I do not wish you to call me that. If Percy is too informal for you call me Perseus, it is my full name."
"A fine name indeed." Thor conceded, "Why do you not use it in its entirety?"
"Too unusual." Percy shrugged, "But it was my mother's choice. One of the few Greek Hero to get his happy ending. Though I have to admit that it is a bit ironic."
"Your name was chosen by your mother?" Thor frowned, "Did not your father have an objection? Or is it the mother who chooses names in Migard? In Asgard the father decrees the naming of the child."
"My father left before I was born." Percy stated, "Lost at Sea, as I said. Besides he had no right to decide my name. I was the product of an affair. Created outside the marriage bed. However not conceived without love."
"You are not ashamed, Perseus?" Thor was confused.
"No." Percy shook his head, "I am better off than many. At least my father acknowledged me before his hand was forced."
"Who is your father?" Thor queried.
"My secret to keep for a while longer." Percy declared, "Besides you have all the clues you require. If Loki has seen my father enough to recognise the resemblance in me, then you should also. I'm rather curious to see how long it will take you."
With that Percy got up, stretching out his limbs.
"I'm going to see if Tony wants to share a pizza." Percy announced, "Jarvis? Will that be okay?"
"Sir has previously stated that you are welcome at any time," Jarvis replied, "Unless he is working on projects for Shield, of an otherwise classified nature or something that could explode and kill both of you. At present he is not performing any of those activities."
"Cool." Percy nodded, "Does he have any pizza preferences and could you order them in?"
"Of course, Young Master." Jarvis responded, "I in the process of placing the order. I presume you have your own preferences?"
"No fish." Percy shrugged, "They just don't go on pizza. And hold the pineapple too."
"Would a Pepperoni be acceptable?" Jarvis queried.
"Absolutely." Percy nodded.
Percy wandered over to the lift and started his journey down to the workshop.
"Jarvis?" Clint dropped out of the vents, after Thor had left to follow Loki, "How much restriction does Tony have the kid on?"
"He is restricted from accessing classified material or accessing weapons outside of the ranges." Jarvis replied, "He is also not allowed to leave the building, as Shield requires him to remain a prisoner. Apart from that, he has free access."
"He's meant to be a prisoner." Clint frowned.
"He cannot leave," Jarvis reminded, "Sir does not wish to unnecessarily confine the Young Master."
"Why not?" Clint was confused, "Did they know each other?"
"Not previously." Jarvis stated, "However any further details Sir does not wish me to disclose."
"Did Tony know the kid's name?" Clint pressed.
"Yes." Jarvis replied, "He asked and the Young Master provided it."
"Why do you call him the Young Master?" Clint queried.
"I refer to him as the Young Master because it is a title he is comfortable with." Jarvis declared, "It is also respectful. Sir does not wish for the Young Master to be disrespected."
Clint frowned and walked away with more questions than answers.

Basic background to this is that the Avengers found Percy and other Half-Bloods in a battle. They didn't know what was going on, but managed to grab Percy. Tony is not a Half-Blood, but he does know about the Greek Gods existence. He's even met one or two. Thor and Loki have met the Greek Parthenon, but it was many centuries ago, back in Thor's more arrogant phase.
