"Daddy!" an excited Kaien exclaimed as he ran up to Adaru from the Shuzen family's limo. Adaru laughed and picked his son up in a loving embrace. "Hey there Kaien, how are you today? How was school?"

"Dad, it sucked." Kaien spoke bluntly.

Adaru gave another slight chuckle, "You need school though, you have to learn things and have an education. All of the Shuzen family members are smart."

" I don't want to be smart if it means living in that H E double hockey sticks."

Adaru gave a stern look to his son " now you need to watch your language son, who taught you that?"

Kaien shrugged, " I don't know Dad, I guess I kind of heard it from one of the other kids at school. I'm sorry." Kaien made a pouty face that Adaru saw right through.

Adaru smiled anyway and set his boy down, "It's okay son, just don't say it again."

A pregnant Mrs. Akashiya walked out of the Shuzen home and onto the front lawn where her two favorite men were. " Aw would you look at that, a father and his son all loving on the lawn." She giggled to herself.

Adaru looked at her, "Honey you know you shouldn't be walking around."

Kaien chimed in, "Hey Mommy! You know Daddy is right!"

Mrs. Akashiya smiled, " alright, alright, how about you two help me inside then?"

They both smiled at her and began walking to where she stood. Adaru held her up right and Kaien grabbed a hold of her hand and helped guide her inside.

After setting her in bed Adaru looked over at Kaien, "wow you did such a great job buddy, you're so strong."

Mrs. Akashiya smiled and patted Kaien's head " I don't think I could have made it back without you, Thank you."

Kaien smiled "You're welcome." Then walked off to his room for his homework.

Mrs. Akashiya looked over to Adaru while she was rocking a crying Moka.

"How DARE you stand there and tell me that you love me!" She screamed.

"I do though! You're not listening to me!" Adaru spoke.

"No, you do not, I find out you CHEAT on me from our son, not only that but that you also are planning on leaving me?"

"That isn-"

Mrs. Akashiya cut him off quickly. " Oh how silly of me, that's right, you were planning or marrying the tramp from that clan because 'your father is making you' and you were going to have me as your mistress. You damned bastard, you couldn't even tell me yourself! My son told me!" Mrs. Akashiya looked as though she was about to kill him right where he stood.

Kaien was standing out side the door, crying. "This is all my fault, if I hadn't have heard dad then this wouldn't be happening."

"Kaien, go to your room honey." His mother said lovingly.

Adaru pulled the door open and grabbed the boy by his throat. "Stop it now Adaru, you're going to kill him."

"That's the point." The harshness in Adaru's voice scared Kaien and he began fighting for his breath.

"I'm sorry." He breathed out.

Adaru then threw him across the hall into a wall with such force it knocked the poor boy unconscious. Before Kaien's eyes closed however he watched his mother set Moka down and attack Adaru, then…. nothing.

Kaien shot up from what he was hoping was a night-mare. "Mommy!"

"Shh, I'm right here son."

"What happened, where's Moka?"

"Son, I had to make a decision."

"Mom, what'd you do?"

"Moka is going to live with her Father for awhile. It was that or your life/"

"But-"

"Don't worry about your sister my boy, she will be fine and we will get her back when the time is right." She smiled and kissed her son's forehead. "Now get some rest baby boy"

"Yes Mom.." Kaien trailed off and settled back into bed promptly falling back to sleep.

"Adaru, I told you she ran away from your castle and said she wanted to live here with me and her brother. She doesn't like who you married." Mrs. Akashiya sighed on the phone.

"That is bullshit, your brat of a devil son took her." Adaru screamed.

"Listen, you said that if she ever decided that she wanted to come to me and live with me on her own that she could, with out a fight or do you not remember that night?"

Adaru sighed, " I do, I'm still so sorr-"

"I don't want to hear it, Moka is now living with me and YOUR son." Mrs. Akashiya slammed the phone back down onto the receiver.

She smiled at her children, "it's settled then, you get to live with Mom now sweetheart."

Kaien smiled, everything is as it should be, for the time being that is.

-Present Time-

"Adaru, Sir!" The guard in knights armor standing at the front of the castle entrance said boldly as Adaru Shuzen stepped through the gate.

"At ease my knight." Adaru spoke softly. He looked to the young man at his side.

"So Fredrick." Adaru questioned.

"Yes Lord Shuzen?" Fredrick replied, his voice slightly elevated.

"I think it's time you and I took care of my demon spawn and that awful human." Adaru spoke with such disdain it was hard for Fredrick not to fear him a bit.

"How do you mean my Lord?" Fredrick's voice riddled with curiosity.

"Well, I plan on launching an attack of sorts against them. Your father still has his mercenary contacts from the Royal Ruthven Guard; Yes?" Adaru eyed the boy, he watched as Fredrick's face pulled into a smile.

"Yes my Lord; Of course he does." Fredrick's smile became evil; He started to think to himself, "I'll teach that good-for-nothing-except-blood human and that baka brother of Moka's. This is why you shouldn't mess with Fredrick Ruthven the Third."

Adaru could only smirk at the boys' expression; he knew what Fredrick was thinking.

"I have already started setting some things up, Fredrick" Adaru broke him out of his trance.

"Oh, is that so my Lord?"

"Indeed, I will fill you in on them when the time to strike becomes nearer there still are so many preparations that need to made; Including the one with your father." Adaru then shoved his hand into his suit vest and pulled out a silver pocket watch, checking the time.

"I must be off then Lord Shuzen." Fredrick took the hint and thought it best to go try to contact his father.

"I will see you soon Fredrick." Adaru smirked and waved the boy off.

Adaru began contemplating possible scenarios, " It is wonderful knowing that you're going to lose Kaien, my dear son. It is such a shame you took after your mother; You could have had everything you'd ever want or need with me."

Adaru began reminiscing of a time long before Kaien and Moka were brought into the world, how he was so in love or what he thought was love with their mother. "Why?! If that little brat didn't walk in on my business deal…" his mind trailed off.

Adaru shook his head at his thoughts as if to say 'enough.' He began walking up the stairs to his stone castle. He looked to his left, "Shuzen Castle" read a small golden plaque; Adaru scoffed. "If only I could have.." He stopped his train of thought and continued up the steps. Adaru sighed as he reached the top, the vampire guard nodded and opened the massive oak door for his master. Adaru walked inside thanking the guard.

Again the guard nodded as the door slammed shut, locking.

"Father." Fredrick Ruthven the Third bowed as his father Fredrick Ruthven the Second entered his throne room.

"Son, why have you called me here at this hour?" F.R II asked still kind of droopy from his interrupted sleep.

"Well" he began, "it's about my marriage to Moka Akashiya."

His father started laughing, "Oh, is that so?"

"Yes sir." Fredrick replied. "Actually, Lord Shuzen has asked if you still had your mercenary contacts from the Royal Ruthven Guard."

His father's laughter promptly ceased and his expression along with his aura got deadly serious, "So Lord Shuzen is finally going to make a move?"

Fredrick smiled "Yes Father."

"You tell Lord Shuzen that he can have any of my men to serve him, I will do anything to keep our clan great, and you happy my son."

"Thank you Father, I will also let him know." Fredrick smiled contently. It didn't matter what anyone else wanted to long as he got what he wanted. "This is much more fun than challenging that damned human to a fight for Moka's hand. I'd kill him so quickly, that wouldn't be fun at all." Fredrick thought to himself as he walked out of his fathers study.

Fredrick stood with his back against the wall in his room flipping a coin.

"Yes sir, he's calling all of the men that you've asked for." Fredrick then hit end call on his Iphone and slipped into his pocket.

"This is just too easy." Fredrick thought to himself.

"So that's why my father hates me so much. I ruined his and Mom's relationship, well that's how I see it anyway." Kaien said as he sat down at his desk.

"I truly do believe we have a lot to do and not a lot of time to do it." Kaien sighed.

"My father is planning something big, I can just feel it."

Ryo walked around to hug Kaien from behind in his chair. "Thank you for opening up even more than you already have my love. I agree with you, I can feel the evil around. I think it is going to be hard but we will get through it, no matter what." Ryo kissed the back of Kaien's head. " I love you"

Kaien smiled, " I love you too."

BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP

Tsukune slammed his fist down onto the snooze button on his alarm clock which read 7:45am. He then rolled over to cherish the last fifteen minutes of sleep before all hell would inevitably break out due to dance lessons.

SLAM

Tsukune fell out of bed as Ryo practically busted his door down.

She walked over to him.

"WHY AREN'T YOU UP AND READY LESSONS START AT 8 AND YOU'RE NOT READY EVERYONE ELSE IS READY WHY AREN'T YOU" Ryo began to hyperventilate then closed her eyes and calmed herself down. She took a breath and calmly began again, "I apologize Tsukune but this needs to be perfect. I've been dreaming of this since I was little."

Tsukune sat up and smiled, " I understand, I'll get ready and be down in five minutes."

Ryo smiled, "Thank you."

Tsukune got up and put some clean, comfortable clothing on then shut his alarms off.

He grabbed his shoes and threw them on and darted out of his room and down the stairs to the practice room.

Tsukune took a deep breath and opened the doors. Everyone looked towards the noise then noticed it was him.

TSUKUNE! Everyone shouted, some in anger for being late, some in joy because they hadn't seen him all night, and others just in greeting.

Tsukune smiled and took one step inside the room.

If I don't write I don't feel right. Writing is such a big hobby of mine and I hate that I can't do it more often than I do but I have a lot of things that work against me in life LOL but I'm trying.
