Connor dragged himself slowly out of the depths of his nightmares only to be greeted by yet another. Only this time is seemed more real. There was a man, no not a man a tall thing that stood as a man. the rest was completely different. It seemed to be covered in thick hair and seemed to have horns. Wait, he'd heard of something like this from the frontiersmen. It was something from Greek mythology what is called he couldn't remember. Anyway it was speaking to someone though Connor couldn't see who. The voice was too quiet for him to hear however he could tell it was nothing good by the rushed way they were speaking. He tried to get closer but the dream dissolved. When he opened his eyes he was greeted by the sight of Nico rushing to get ready.

"What's going on? "He asked

"The hunters are arriving. "Came the exited answer.

"Who are the hunters?"

"The maiden hunters of Artemis, They come every once in a while. when they do we battle in capture the flag. My best friend is one of them. "

"What is capture the flag." he asked confused

"You don't know what capture the flag is. "

"No. "

"It's a game with two teams and two flags and the goal is for one team the get the other team's flag with no killing if maiming. Other than that there are no rules, exited. "

"Not really "

"Hurry up or we'll be late "Nico walks down stairs and leaves the cabin. Connor slowly climbs out of bed and rubs his face with his hands then gets up and walks over to the dresser pulling out a pair of pants pulling them on then pulls out a white t-shirt and pulls it on. He sighs still not used to the modern cloths and walks into the bathroom and brushes his teeth like how Nico showed him and brushed his hair now ready for the modern world.

As Connor exited the cabin he was ambushed by a group of girls who were asking him to protect them during the game. Somehow he was able to lose them and find Nico and follow him to see the hunters gathered greeting friends.

"Nico "yelled a girl with black hair and silver cloths as she ran over and hugged him.

"Connor this is my cousin Thalia, Thalia meet Connor "huffed Nico as Thalia squeezed the air out of him.

"Where did he spring from "she wondered out loud?

"Hades or more accurately Demeter "came the indifferent reply

"Nice to meet you "Connor said while bowing his head slightly

"Likewise "she said hesitantly

"CONNOR "came a surprised shout causing Connor to turn and see a teen girl running at him.

"Maria? "He exclaimed seeing the tallish girl with long black hair and bright green eyes sporting the signature silver hunters outfit, surprised as she hugs him almost knocking him over.

"You know her "thalia asked looking at them.

"He's the one who taught me how to hunt and the one I told you about. Connor how are you here. "Maria said happily

"The gods decided I was needed though I'm not sure how. How are you here? "

"After you died my mom was attacked by my dad and was killed." Her voice growing sad as she recalled the even

"I'm sorry I was not there to protect her " Connor said softly as he returned the hug.

Maria pulled away then smiled

"Its ok I got a new family "

She steps back to stand amongst the hunters.

The hunters come over and ask Connor questions about where he came from and what he knew about hunting.
