This one will probably be shorter, but I won't have time to write this weekend and I managed to snag an hour so I can type this. Enjoy!

"Uh jack I got something for you" Angel said meekly. Jack ominously looked up from his desk.

"what is now, Angel?" he barked while disinterestedly looked at his fingernails.

"Well, it seems that Moxxi has sent a repl-" but she was cut off by Jack "Did she disable Sanctuary's shield?"

She shook her head.

"THEN I DONT CARE" he shouted shoving all of the papers off his desk. Angel jumped back at his rage. Jack coming down from the emotional outburst looked at the mess he had made.

"Angel baby, WHY AREN'T YOU CLEANING THIS MESS UP" he accused. She was having second thoughts about telling him the situation between Moxxi and her lover and quickly hurried over to the pile of papers.

"But there appears to be an Echo recording of Moxxi and another Man...making love..." she tried to make it sound less harsh, all ready knowing the fallout to come.

A twang of jealousy shot through handsome jack

"You mean he was fucking my Moxxi?" he pouncing up off his seat and aggressively leaning over his desk.

"uh yes sir" angel squeaked out

he calmed down slightly "Angel darling, who is this Man?"

She cleared her throat and sent a file to Jack's computer "His name is Axton, he is Ex-DAHL Special Forces and... a vault hunter.."

Jack started to twitch in anger. "Cool it Jack boy" he said out loud, calming himself down. He pondered for a moment and thought what to do.

"So you said she sent an Echo Video?"

Angel Nodded her head.

A crazy gleam in his eye formed "Good. Angel i want you to release this video all over the echo net. Im going to ruin her image and her career" then he changed his focus "And for the vault hunter, I want you to double the bounty on his head, triple it even, GOD DAMMIT ANGEL I WANT HIM DEAD!"

Angel did as she was told she sent out a message to all the bounty hunters and mercenaries on Pandora,

It had been a few days since the night at Moxxi's and Axton was sleeping peacefully when the sounds of pans clattering and the other vault hunters woke him, glancing at a clock he saw that it was 0800. A whole two hours later than he usually woke up. Ever since his days in DAHL Special Forces he always got up at 0600, no matter what time he went to bed at. Sitting up he rubbed his eyes and scanned the room, he was the only one all the other must be in the kitchen or living room. He felt sluggish and lazy, promising himself he would do some PT to make up for it. He then took a big whiff of air and the smell of eggs assaulted his nose and his mood shifted.

"Mmm breakfast"

he said out loud to no one in particular. He quickly got dressed in his usual uniform, this time forgoing all the belts, pouches, chest rig and buckles in favor of a more comfortable white undershirt. Stumbling into the kitchen he saw the rest of the vault hunters sitting eagerly around a table while waiting for brick to serve their food. Well, all of them except for Maya.

"Heya slab! Take a seat!" he called and motioned towards an empty seat between Gaige and Salvador. "Morning team! Why didn't any of you guys wake me up?" he joked and took his place at the table. Once he sat down Brick began to serve the Vault Hunters. He was handing out plates full of bacon, eggs and hash browns, Axton licked his lips at the sight of the steaming mounds of deliciousness. When his plate finally arrived to him he began to eagerly dig in. after he inhaled the food he looked up at the rest of the group and they were gawking at him.

"It seems like someone worked up quite an appetite" Lilith said suspiciously then shifted eye contact to Gaige and smirked "but I wonder from what?" she added.

Axton did not like the way she sounded and alarm bells in his head starting to ring, but rather than betray his suspicion he just shrugged and said "Guess I was just hungry this morning" Lilith seemed to accept his answer, for now.

Once the rest of the table got their food they all began to dig in without much talking. Brick's cooking had that effect on people. "Brick, my friend, where did you learn to cook like this?" Salvador asked, briefly halting his assault on the plate. Brick left out a hearty laugh.

"From the best of course! My mother!" he bellowed and slapped Gaige on the back, she just rolled her eyes. Axton finished eating first; He always did. In boot camp they had timed chow times and if you didn't finish, the Drill Sargeants threw your plate away. Another habit he can't seem to escape. He looked over towards Gaige, she was just playing with her fork and the food was barely picked at. His features softened to one of concern "Hey girly, something bugging you? he asked.

She groaned and turned to him "Everything is fine, dad"

Axton made a mental note to catch her alone and talk about this. He knew that all it takes is just one teammate with unresolved issues to comprise the integrity of the rest of the unit, but in an effort to defuse the situation he didn't press her for more information.

"Well then, are you going to finish that?" he said beckoning to her plate. She just rolled her eyes and sighed. She pushed the plate over towards him and got up from the table.

"Thanks doll" he called out with a mouth full of her food. After he had finished the plate he excused himself from the table and left both dishes in the sink.

"Going somewhere?" Lilith questioned, he nodded and said "Yeah going to head down to the workshop, maybe mod my turret a bit"and switlfy left the building.

After hearing the door shut the remaining vault hunters looked over toward Mordecai, who at the moment was keeping lookout and watching Axton walk down the alleyway, eventually disappearing from sight. He turned around and gave them a thumbs up.

Gaige came out from hiding "So do you really think that's him?" she questioned glancing around and waiting for an answer "no doubt about it" Lilith replied

"There's only one person on this planet who has that many zippers and pouches"

This elicited a laugh from the group and Mordecai was the next to speak up.

"I don't know guys, i don't think Axton would talk to anyone other than his turret like that...well other than Gaige at least." he joked smiling toward her "GUUYS WE'RE MAKING FUN OF AXTON NOT ME" she protested and Mordecai roughed her hair. Zer0 was the voice of reason when he suggested that it was Moxxi trying to get Handsome Jack jealous. The rest of them agreed with his hypothesis and continued to gossip.

The sudden sound of footstep caught the group by surprise and fearing the worst, that it was Axton, they were relieved when it was just Maya.

"What's going on?" she asked, but narrowed her eyes scanning the team "You all look guilty of something" she accused. A smile crossed Gaige's face and she looked over to Brick, who had been quiet the whole time, he gave her a thumbs up.

"Oh nothing" she said shrugging her shoulder, but then her face turned devious "Except the fact that Axton fucked Moxxi last night and now its all over the echo net!" Maya would have spit out her drink if she had one.

"He did what?" she asked bewildered, Gaige grabbed her echo and played the recording, a deep blush appeared across Maya's face and she looked away.

"Gaige stop teasing her" Lilith called out and she just snickered. Maya sat down at her spot with dirty images of a certain commando running through her head.

I cant write Haiku's so totally expect Zer0's dialogue to be explained through narration. Added about 600 more words but, I'm still not very satisfied with how this chapter turned out and will definitely rework the Angel and Jack interaction, but i just wanted to get it readable and to fit the current story arc. The original was painfully bad and full of plot holes.
