Analysing One Piece

We all know now that Luffy's Devil Fruit is only limited by his imagination. What if this had the larger implication that he could obtain and awaken all DF abilities he came in contact with, so long as the user had a weak enough Haki to not resist? Of course, this requires that Luffy had awakened his Haki before he turned 17. To save time, I will only cover the alternate events.

Just because all those Mystery Squares popped up and started throwing random numbers and rules and stuff in Luffy's face didn't mean that he was gonna listen to them. (Gamer parody. Not a crackfic. I'm only half sorry for writing this.)

what if the time difference between Luffy and Robin was much smaller, what would happen if he arrived on her island somehow before the buster call happened. how will their presence in each others lives affect each other.
