Since I decided to finally end a GI story last night I decided it was time to complete another and now all my GI stories are done. I'm not sure I'll do any more though.

Unless you'd like to see Minnow Gilligan's adventures. Read rescues fail but friendship lasts forever to find out who she is.

"If he doesn't come home with Ginger I don't know what else we can do Professor" Skipper was telling Professor when she walked up.

"Put yourself in his shoes first then Skipper" she said and he looked to her.

"What's that mean?" he asked.

"I take back what I said about it being just a few silly words. When I was talking to Gilligan I told him I know how it feels. When I apologized again I realized I wish people had done the same to me. You have no idea what its like to feel completely betrayed by people you trust" Ginger told him.

Skipper gave out a small sigh. "But we all apologized Ginger. How do we get past this?"

"That's up to him Skipper. He's scared it will happen again because it seems we're cursed to live here forever" Ginger replied.

"Why would he be scared? We all apologized sincerely and no one's been mean to him since breakfast" Skipper asked.

She gave a small sigh. "I hate to break his trust but you should know the truth Skipper. Gilligan snuck back to get his pocket knife and heard our little meeting. I think he's just afraid to trust us again" she said.

"Then what do we do?" Skipper asked looking hurt and dejected.

"Let us talk to the boy first Skipper" Mr. Howell advised.

"Not if you're going to just bribe him home Howell" Skipper answered.

"I won't let him Skipper. We'll just apologize again and then I think the six of us should let him be" Mrs. Howell said.

Skipper gave a reluctant nod. "Fine, I guess he is right and I can't just order him home. I know he knows he's welcome back but he'll have to come when he's ready"

"Now you're finally understanding Skipper" Ginger told him.

The Howells left and as they neared they could hear Gilligan talking to himself.

"Do you think I should go back Diary? I know their sorry and I guess I should just forgive them and move back home" he was saying. He let out a long sigh. "I guess all I really want is to held by mom diary. She was the best at giving hugs and I can really use her hugs right now" he said.

"Gilligan?" Mrs. Howell decided then to call out and he came out of his cave.

"Hi Mr. and Mrs. Howell" he greeted.

"How are you dear boy? Are you warm enough?" Mrs. Howell asked and Gilligan nodded.

"I think so, I mean all of you gave me dinner and a blanket" he said and gave him a warm smile.

"Good" she said and gently stroked his cheek. He was confused at the gentle touch and pulled back.

"Mrs. Howell…" he started and she only smiled warmly and took his hand.

"Don't be afraid Gilligan. I know I'm not your real mother but I think I can be a substitute for now" she said.

"You….you heard me?" he stammered and she nodded.

"As I said, I'm not your mother Gilligan but…" she answered and he gave her a smile. "That's okay Mrs. Howell" he said and he accepted her warm embrace.

"We are sorry Gilligan. You just have to understand that none of us are really happy being trapped here and we may get angry and cruel at times" Mr. Howell said.

"But we are a family of castaways until we're rescued. So if we ever do get angry with each other we need to talk it out. Running off and hiding doesn't really solve anything Gilligan" Mrs. Howell added.

Gilligan gave a nod as he laid in her arms. "Yeah, I guess I am just being a big baby now"

"No, your feelings were hurt and you are a human being Gilligan. We just want you to know its okay to forgive and move on. We're human's as well but we are all sorry" Mrs. Howell said.

Gilligan gave a nod again and pulled away. He crawled back into his cave and came back out a minute later with the blankets, diary and Mr. Howell's teddy bear.

"I am tired of living in there. I want to go home now" he said and they both gave him a smile.

They all stood and walked back to camp. "I'm home Skipper" Gilligan said when he walked in and Skipper climbed off his hammock and gave him a hug.

"Welcome back little buddy. I really am…" he said and Gilligan covered his mouth with his hand.

"It's okay Skipper. I decided to just forgive and forget. All I ask is you try to remember that I'm only human. I don't really want to disappear again" he said and Skipper nodded.

"Of course little buddy" he said.

"Gilligan! You really did come back!" MaryAnn squealed suddenly as she opened the door.

"Yeah, sorry about before" she said and the girl ran up and hugged him.

"Long as it's over I'm happy Gilligan" she said. Then she took his hand and led him back outside. Ginger was just placing a big cake on the table and Gilligan smiled.

"Is that for me?" he asked and both girls nodded. "We made it for you" they said together.

"Thank you" Gilligan replied.

"No, thank you for reminding us that we have to be careful about what we say Gilligan. You're a good man and one of us and I think I can speak for us all when I say we want you to stay with us" Professor told him.

The other five gave nods. "Yeah, now lets cut the cake already" Ginger said and they all laughed.
