A month went by since the comet's collision to earth was prevented, and our favorite mermaids have graduated. Already is Summer, and Emma return to the Golden Coast reuniting with her friends, and met there new friend Bella. Meanwhile Cassidy was finish unpacking after arriving from New Zealand to stay with her grandmother Louise Chatham. She has a secret that only her grandmother knows since she went through the same thing years ago.
"I'm going to check the beach out gram." Cassidy said after getting her bikini,skirt, and sandles on as she began to leave after letting her grandma know were she is going.
"Be safe Cassie." Louise said to her granddaughter, and Cassidy politely nodded, and left walking to the beach. Meanwhile Emma, Cleo, Rikki, and Bella were walking as they talk about what happen during Emma's absence while they bump into Cassidy by accident.
"Sorry about that." Cassidy said to the four of them after they bump into her.
"No its our fault we weren't paying attention. I'm Emma." Emma said to Cassidy.
"Cleo"
"Rikki"
"Bella"
"Nice to you I'm Cassidy." Cassidy said politely to them.
"So how long have you been here?" Cleo asked Cassidy.
"I just got here." Cassidy said to Cleo.
"Oh well you might like it here." Cleo said to Cassidy.
"We should head to Rikki's for a drink my treat." Rikki said as the five of them walk to Rikki's to drink smoothies. As Rikki brang the smoothies she accidentally drop Cassidy's smoothie on herself, and Cassidy that they both ran to the bathroom, and lock it. Seeing each other that before Rikki could asked they both transformed into mermaids, and fell on the floor.
"Hang on" Rikki said as she heated both there tails regaining there legs, and walk back to the others,
"Cassidy your a mermaid too?" Rikki whispered as the others listen, and Cassidy sighed.
"I was five years old living in New Zealand a storm hit causing me to stay in a sea cave, and when it pass the moon appear making the pool glow, and well you know the rest." Cassidy said to them.
"Does anyone else know about this other then us?" Emma asked Cassidy.
"Just one person who use to be a mermaid." Cassidy said
"And that would be?" Cleo asked
"My grandmother Louise Chatham." Cassidy said as Emma, Rikki, and Cleo look at her with there eyes wide open.
