Karkat wandered around the hive aimlessly, for no particular reason. He was honestly wondering how Jinxii got on this godforsaken meteor. Portals? Magic? How did she get here? Seriously, how the heck did she get here? Hmmm….. He walked past her studio and stopped. He backed up a couple steps and looked into the window, black curtains fully pulled back, leaving her in full view. She was recording something in her studio, eyes closed, exposing her black and gray angel-wing makeup, and her sparkly silver stained lips partway opened. Her hair shined in the light, her slender tall gazelle-like horns fading from a bright red to a pastel yellow. She was wearing a spaghetti strap half shirt, and a dark blue ruffled skirt, and knee high black socks with a silver plated Naruto leaf village symbol on each. Her short hair was slightly messy, giving her the appearance of one of her cherished anime characters. And she looked stunning. Karkat felt a light pink blush dust his cheeks. Thank goodness nobody was around. Then her eyes opened. Karkat quickly absconded the scene before she spotted him.
Dave was the next to pass by. He noticed all of her equipment, and under his glasses, his eyes widened at all the stuff in there. Instruments were hung from the walls of all sorts, including two pianos! She saw him just taking a gander at all of her equipment. She smiled widely, and gestured him in. She stopped the recording she was doing, and bounded out of the large glass case to meet him. "Hi! What's your name? I like your sunglasses. Why do you wear them inside? Is that a broken record on your shirt? Do you like music? I have a lot of stuff here for music. I love, love, LOVE music! By the way, your hair is REALLY bright. It almost looks shiny!" Dave just stared at the miniature troll, (he had to look down, she only came to his chest) and responded with "Sup. The name's Dave. And I do like music." She positively beamed. "Really? What kind of music do you like? I like all sorts. Even human music from the human YouTube." He gave a short answer. "Rap. And Dubstep." Jinxii grabbed the control on the small wood desk next to the door and gestured for him to move back. He moved back to the door, and Jinxii pushed a button. The scene was quickly changed to her party room. Dubstep filled the room. Dave looked around at her handy work. Jinxii shouted over the music, "THIS TYPE OF DUBSTEP?!" He nodded. She changed back to her studio. "Do you make music? I think Kaykay mentioned something about a Dave." This time she allowed him to speak.
"Yeah, I sometimes mix music sometimes." "Cool! Do you just record, or can you mix to make the dubstep added on, or with sound affects? Because I'm not good at that so I usually just do acoustic. Like Rock!" She gestured to her six electric guitars hung on the wall. Dave nodded. "Yeah. And I'm pretty good at it too." She looked really excited now. "Really? Can you help me with this then? I'm trying to do a cover for this song, and it needs sound effects. I have the equipment right here." Dave nodded.
They proceeded to mix tapes for the rest of the day.
Le time skip~
About a day later, there was three large knocks on the door, followed by a yell from the front door. "OPEN UP ALREADY! I'M WAITING!" everybody poked heads out of doors, curious by the unfamiliar voice. Jinxii on the other hand shouted, "OMG! IT'S EILDER!" Sollux groaned. Kaykay looked shocked. "They just keep coming…." Jinxii thundered down the steps. She threw open the door, and promptly tackled the troll. "What the heck Jinxii! You left me out there! And get off me!" Jinxii bounded inside and invited her in. The troll was taller than both Jinxii and Kaykay, and had short hair, cut in an A-line bob. She was wearing 3D glasses, and had a Gemini symbol on her black shirt. Her skirt was ruffled black, like Jinxii's, and her knee high socks
"Where's my brother? I heard he was on this piece of trash." Sollux walked down the steps, with an unpleased expression on his face. "Eilder." Eilder smirked. "Lisp king." Sollux was not happy at this remark. "You don't alwayth have to rub it in my face that I have a lithp and you don't." "Of course I do." They, of course, as siblings normally do, started to bicker violently. After the matter was resolved Eilder turned to Jinxii. "You! You totally left me in the dust. One day I wake up on a meteor, and you're gone. It took me FIVE DAYS to find you here." Jinxii looked at her thoughtfully. "I…..don't remember that… I just remember….arriving here.." Eilder looked at Kaykay who had just walked downstairs. They exchanged worried glances. She brushed it off quickly while Jinxii was still struggling to remember. She turned to her brother. "Brother dearest, I'm going to have to share a room with you." Sollux swore under his breath and stomped up the stairs, quickly followed by his sister. "Those two are going to be serious nuisances with their Bipolar meltdowns.
