Chapter 102
Buffy wasn't sure what to make of this. She had helped kill a man. A sociopath intent on killing millions, but a human nonetheless. This was never easy. As she left the magick shop early thursday morning Buffy saw the headline in the newspaper. A young homeless girl had been murdered in the park. She was missing almost all of her blood, her body had many cuts. Buffy had almost forgotten what her mission was the previous night. She was suppossed to hunt and kill the vampire known as "Claw" before she got side-tracked. Buffy tried telling herself that she'd done the right thing. If she hadn't stopped Russell Winters millions would've died, including this homeless girl. Buffy wondered, if she had found Claw instead of the Guardian would Xander have still found Ampata, brought her to Giles? Would Giles and Lindsay have still devised their plan, or something like it? Would that girl have still died? Only one thing was certain, one innocent girl had died on Buffy's watch.
