Chapter 113
Buffy spent much of Saturday night preparing to stop Warren and Amy's human sacrifice. She had known they were up to something bad. Perhaps it was naive to think that might be over merely becaus she'd had a brief bonding experience with them in detention. She called up Charles Gunn, he seemed to be more experienced with this than her. Willow used her considerable computer skills to try and find where the ritual might be held. Despite their political differences Gunn and Willow were able to work together. Unfortunately Violet didn't have enough information. She suggested calling Warren and Amy and say she'd reconsidered. Violet called them and they seemed willing to bring her onboard. Buffy and Gunn agreed to each follow one of them, Amy and Warren. Buffy still wasn't sure she trusted Violet, that she wasn't leading her into a trap. Still, if it helped save an innocent life, Buffy was willing to take the risk.
