Ashley Meets Fariy Tail
A month with Laxus made Ashley the happiest girl in the world. Ashley had already mett three members of the Fairy Tail family and she truly wanted to meet everyone else. "Laxus, I was wondering shouldn't we tell the rest of your familythat we're getting married?," she asked, as she was folding the clothes. Laxus dropped a cup as he froze, startling Ash "Holy-Laxus! Are you okay?," she asked, as she came to his aid. Laxus was dumbfound as Ash picked up the glass shards "Ow!," She yelp as she dropped a peice.
Laxus immeadiately snapped out of his daze to care for Ash "Baka, you should always let a guy do this. It's so the woman don't get hurt," he said, as he wrapping up her hand. Ash blushed, but then found herself determind "What happened to you? I've never seen you act like that before," she said. Laxus looked at her and cdraked a smile "I really like that look your eyes; you should use it ore often," he said. Ash narrowed her eyes and put her hands on her hips "Laxus, don't change the subject you know I hate it when people do that," she scolded.
Laxus cuped her chin and smiled "I guess we could go, but do you really want to go?," he asked. Ash smiled and kissed Laxus "After our choures," Ash said, as she stood up. Laxus sighed and ran his fingers through his blonde hair "I know I'm going to regret this," he muttered, as he stood up.
Later on the two were standing at the front door of the Fairy Tail Guild "Okay here I go," Ash thought , as she walkedup to open the door. "Ash wait!," Laxus ran up just as a blast of ice shot out toward Ashley. Putting her hands up thw attack is blocked by a wooden sheild. "Huh?," Ash looks up to see that the wooden sheild had formed from her hands "Ash, you never said you were a forest mage," said Laxus.
Ashley looked at Laxus and spoke "Laxus even I didn't know. What did I just do?," she looked pale and frightned. Laxus put a hand on her dholder and smiled "Come on, cdhin up. No one's going to hurt you," he said. Ashe smiled "Okay," the ywo walked in just as they saw Erika drag/pull Gray away from Lucy and Nastu. 'Did we miss something?," asked Ash toward Laxus. Laxus sighed shaking his head "No not really this is basicly everyday," he replied. "Oh, well let's go see your grandfather. He's name is Makarov, right?," she asked.
Laxus smiled "Yep, you've got brains and beauty. I must be really lucky," he said. Ash blushed and they headed toward the stairs. 'Do you think he'll like me?," she asked. 'Like you?," Laxus questoined "He'll love you. trust me," Laxus beamed. Ash looked about and her eyes landed on three people coming there way "La-la-Laxus," she stuttered. He looked down at her "Yeah what's wrong?," he asked. Ash didn't reply as she hid behind him. "What the-!?," he looked up to see his team mates.
Laxus cdould not help but laugh as he felt Ash's shaking; from her shy and nervous personality "You guys need to learn how to not act so suddenly. She is still trying to get a handle on how things work here," Laxus said. The three people stopped and Ash stuck her head out around Laxus's back "Are these the 'good freinds' that you told me about?," Ash asked. "Yep, this is Freed (to the right), Bickxlow (to the left), and Evergreen (in the middle)," he said pointing to them."Guys, I want you to meet my girl Ashley Jay Carmic." Laxus wrapped his arm around her shoulder causing her to blush. "H-h-hello. I'm Ashley, but you can call me Ash. If you wnat to," she stuttered.
Freed stepped up and bowed "It is an honor to meet you," he said. Ashley's face grew pink and she bowed "No, the honor is mine. I don't know what would of happened if any of you weren't there for Laxus through thick and thin. I might not have met such an amazing guy," she said in one breathe. "Better?," asked Laxus. "Much better, thanks for asking ," she smiled. "You guys get to know each other at the bar. I'm going to find the old man," said Laxus, as he walked away. "Okay...umm..." Ash did a full circle and raised an eyebrow "Where is the bar?," she shyly asked the three "Just follow us, I'm sure Mirajane will want to meet you," said Evergreen. "Who?" Ashley felt like she heard that name before, but from where or who.
As they walked toward the dar Ashley noticed Lucy and ran up hugging her "Lucy, I'm so glad your here! I've missed you," Ash said with a squeal. Lucy turned a little and smiled "Ash! How are you? Is Laxus taking care of you?," asks Lucy. Ash smiled "Yeah, but sometimes I think I've got him wrapped around my finger" then she leans in and whispers 'but at night it's the other way around for the both of us." The two girls bursted into laughter at the comment. Lucy and Ash talked with 'The Thunder God Tribe' Ashley learned a lot about the guild and Laxus 'Wow, you guys have been through alot," Ash said admirally. 'What your world like?," asked Bickxlow.
Ash fell silent in sadness she truly missed it and she felt awful about the things she said and did on her last day there. Lucy put a hand on Ash's shoulder and was suprised to see tears forming and falling on her face. "Hey, what's wrong? Did I ask something out of line?!," Bickxlow was worried about Ashley, but if Laxus was near he was dead. Ash wiped at her eyes and shook her head "No, you didn't say any thing wrong Bickxlow...I just feel really bad about what I did before I dissappeared from home." So Ash told her story to the three; what she didn't know was that she had the whole guild listening to her.
Freed frowned "A lady such as you should not have gone through that," he says. Evergreen was mad "If I was there I would have turned that boy into stone," Ever fumed. Lucy nodded at Ever and looked at Ash. "Well things are better now. Your with Laxus and if you want you can be a memeber of Fairy Tail," she beamed. "Me? A wizard?! I-you-but I- I don't have any magic powers... that I know of," said Ash in a slight panic. "Aren't you a 'dragon slayer' ?," some one asked from behind her. Ash made a small squeak sound and jumped to see a very small and sweet looking blue hair girl "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you, but aren't you a dragon slayer?," she asked. "Me? No, I have never seen a dragon nor have I ever slayen one," Ash replied paling at the thought.
"Are you sure? You smell like one," said Natsu, as he sniffed her. "I have been living with Laxus maybe that's what you smell," Ash said thinking logically. "No, it's not his. You have a forest scent not a stormy scent," said some black haired face periced guy. Lucy looked at Ash who looked scared confused, and ready to run "Make her do a 'dragon roar' if it works your right , and if it doesn't your wrong," said Lucy. Ash looked at Lucy and frowned "Luce, I'm not so sure that it such a good idea," she mutters. Lucy smiled "Don't woory, this will clear up everything," she replied. "May I suggest that we do this outside the guild," said Freed. "I do," replied Ash. Everyone got up and went outside the they formed a semi-circle behind Ashley "How do I do this?," she asked Natsu and the other two from before walked up "Just watch us sos you cando the same, okay?," said Natsu.
Ashley could only nod at them and step back; Natsu took a deep breathe and shouted "Fire Dragon Roar!" a large blast of fire shot out of his mouth. "The 'dragon roar' is one a dragons slayers best form of attack, yet it leaves them open for an attack. Always remember that...my little one," said a large dirt brown evergreen eyed dragon. Ash has her head down as the words came to her "Hey, you okay?," asked Bickxlow. Ash nodded silently then watched the other guy "Iron Dragon Roar!" a ametal tornado seemed to shoot out of his mouth. "There are many types of dragons in this world, but not all of them find the right wizard to raise," said the dragon. "Then why me? I'm not a wizard...I'm me," asked a younger Ashley.
The young girl stepped up "Sky Dragon Roar!" a blue and white tornado shot out. "One day, I will not be here and when that day comes you will return home," said the dragon. "I don't want to go home. I want to stay with you," cried young Ashley. "I do as well. Now show me your dragon roar, show me the power of the Forest," she said. Ash walked out in the middle of the semi-circle "Ivy, please hear me," she whispered. Closing her eyes Ash takes a huge breathe and yells "Forest Dragon Roar!" a large brown and green tornado shot out healing the gound and grass.
Everyone became silent as they looked at Ash, Lucy walked over to her outting a hand on her shoulder "Ash, are you...okay?," asked Lucy. Ash wrapped her arms around Lucy, as she cried onto Lucy's shoulder. "Ash? Ash, baby are you okay?," asked Laxus. Lucy pulled away and walked over to Natsu, Laxus knelt down in front of his lover and brushed her hair out of her face. Ash was smiling "I...I...I remember...I have been here before," she cried. "What do you mean?," asked Laxus. Ash smiled even more and started to tell her story "When I was only four years old. I got lost in the woods behind my house. I fell asleep under a large oak tree and woke up in a cave that was when I met Ivy the Forest Dragon. She taught me everything good I know and I loved her. I learned everything in three years; one day she wasn't there to greet the day with me. I went back to sleep and woke up to see a dog on me it lead me home with in three years my parents had two more kids forgetting about me. While getting older I passed it off as a dream and never told anyone," she said calmly. "Now, I know it wasn't a dream. I am Ashley Jay Carmic Forest Dragon Slayer," she said proudly. "No wonder you stare at the forest alot," chuckled Laxus.
As playfully punched his arm and laughed "Laxus, can I join Fairy Tail?," she asked. Laxus looked at her in surprised "You...want to join the guild?," he asked. "Yep, I want to get stronger and fight beside you," she said confidently. Laxus smiled "That's the old man's choice whether you can join or not," said Laxus pointing to the short old man behind him. Ash looked at the man and smiled "Are you Makarov Dreyar? The guild master," she asked. "Yes, I am," he said. "Could I... join the guild?" Makarov stared at her with an intence look then smiled "What color and where?," he asked.
Ash smiled "Dark Green, Right Cheek," she said pointing to her face. The rest of the guild cheered then Ashley look at Laxus he sighed and made a bang of thunder silencing the guild "Ash and I have something to tell everyone," he said wrapping an arm around Ash. Smiling the two looked at everyone "We're getting married!" the two annouced. The guild became dead silent "Did we make a mistake?," Ash whispered. Just then the two got pulled away from each other by the men and women of the guild.
The sun was setting in the distance as the young dragon slayer couple walked home "They were...nice," commented Ash. "I'm so sorry. I should have warned you," said Laxus, as he shook his head. "No, they're sweet. Your lucky to have caring friends and family," she smiled. "Don't forget I have something just as good as them," he smiled. Ash tilted her head to left "Oh? What is that?" "You. Your the one." Ash smiled and they walked home together for a nice romantic night.
