Chapter 118
Tara assumed Willow was sick, or she would have come to school. But she had to be certain. Tara got some chicken noodle soup and brought it over to Willow's house. Sheila answered the door, she didn't seem happy to see Tara. Tara figured Sheila might've heard about Willow and Tara dancing at homecoming.
Tara: Hi, I'm Willow's friend from school. I just came to drop off her homework and this soup.
Sheila: I already made her soup. I'll make sure she gets her homework.
Tara: Thank you. Is she okay.
Sheila: It's just a cold. Willow just neeed a day to rest. Please leave now.
As Sheila shut the door on Tara she felt typical rejection. Tara's own father rejected her for being gay, why should she expect different from Willow's mother. Tara could live without a girlfriend, but like most people Tara wanted acceptance, basic human love. As Tara left she decided to turn herself into a cat and go over to Buffy's house.
