Chapter 8: How to Make Smash City Better

Smashers note: "Hey this is Link, writing a note. We're telling a simple old story: selling a lemonade stand so we can be rich. Why? Cause back then Smash City was such a poor place so selling lemonades was the only way to make it better. It won't be the same if that didn't happened. Anyway, on with the story."

It was a abnormal day at the city.

The Smashers are watching the news which was first broadcast since the 2000s started.

"Breaking news, Smash City. The city is somehow losing its creativity," said the news anchor. "The money had been dropping steadily since the start of this new millennium. So it is up to one of you people here to save the wealth care in this city."

"Oh my, the city's wealth getting worse," said Master Hand. "Everyone, you know what this means?"

"We have to think something to save the city?" asked Link.

"Yes, we must do something simple," replied Master Hand.

"Like what?" asked Fox.

"I don't know, can you all think of something?" asked Master Hand.

"What about we can we sell lemonade?" suggested Kirby.

"That's a great idea, Kirby," said Master Hand.

"Brilliant plan, smart puffball," said Luigi.

Thanks to Kirby's suggestion, the Smashers decide to start a lemonade stand so they can save the city from being very poor.

It is going well so far.

"Kirby, your plan's working," said Mario.

"The money is going up already," said Luigi.

"Yep, it is increasing by $40," said Kirby. "Let's keep this up, folks."

The Smashers invited all of the other 190 something people to sell some lemonade. Most of them loved them, while the others, not so much.

Later at 5PM, the news report stated that the money in Smash City had already went up. Plus, the Smashers are even live on TV.

"Thanks to the Smashers for coming up with a brilliant plan. Credit goes to Kirby. We're proud of you for making the city more rich," said the anchor.

"Thanks, uh, someone who loved my works," replied Kirby.

"So what other ideas you all going to shape up this city?" asked the anchor.

"We are going to make it a metro area and have a few skyscrapers in it," said Master Hand.

"Very good. What else?"

"We are going to build some of our favorite restaurants like McDonald, Pizza Hut, and whatnot," said Kirby.

"Wow, those plans sound awesome. Well, there you have it, folks. End of the new report." said the news anchor.

Everyone were praising Kirby for the awesome plans he came up so far.

"Wow, Kirby, you are a kind person," said Mario.

"Thanks for those awesome ideas, man," said Fox. "They're gonna help the future of our city."

"Pika pika pika!(I love it, Kirby. Keep it up with the great ideas.)" said Pikachu.

"Kirby, sooner or later, you are going to end up being of my best friends in Smash Bros." said Yoshi.

"Thanks everybody, it was worth it. Now that I'm famous here, let's go build some roads," said Kirby.

*Montage*

The Smashers are using their money for the roads they're building as well as a few houses. The construction of this new area of Smash City lasted for 6 months to finish it.

*Cloud bubbles*

Kirby: "We finally built it!"

Link: "At long last! I was tired with this anyway."

Samus; "So what's next?"

Master Hand: "We're merging Smash City a metro so let's build a highway."

*Next montage*

Their next project cost more money but at least they only like $100 left. Instead of everybody, Master Hand invited some of their other friends in the city to construct the highway. They agreed and the highway is being in construction for a year. Meanwhile, the others were building restaurants so that they have something to eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They made a McDonald, a Burger King, a Wendy's, a Pizza Hut, a Denny's, and more.

*End montage*

The folks high fived each other.

"Well, folks, that was a wrap," said Master Hand. "We worked our butts with these projects that will help the future of Smash City. Do you know what this means for next year?"

"Smash City's population will increase and increase to the point that most of our fellows (other Nintendo characters) will move here," replied Link.

"Yep, Link. How did you get so smart?" asked Master Hand. "Great fact."

"Thanks, I was calculating my predictions," said Link.

"Well, the city will be big in no time," said Master Hand.

Once they were done building the restaurants, all of a sudden, they're poor again.

"Aw crud, we son't have any money," said Luigi.

"Not again," said Kirby. "Smashers, you thinking what I'm thinking?"

"Let's make another lemonade stand to save our wealth," replied Mario.

They made another lemonade stand, this time, at a McDonald's.

"It was great of you to make a stand here at McDonald," said the cashier.

"Eh, no problem, we were just making ourselves rich again," said Master Hand.

"How much money do we have?" asked Fox.

"Right now, it's $200," replied Kirby. "800 more to go."

Their second lemonade proved to be a bigger success. More customer came thanks to those who were eating at McDonalds. In 7 hours, they received 2,000.

Another news report...

"This just in: The Smashers had already figured out to stay rich. Buy lemonades. But this time, their second stand was a huge hit. As a result, Smash City is now a slightly bigger and rich city. Well, that's it for tonight's news."

"Folks, our future are really looking bright," said Master Hand.

Smashers note: "And so they did. That's the story of how we got our fictional city richer and bigger."

"Ness here...stay tuned for the next story. It's gonna be hilarious."
