Chapter 125
Winifred Burkle sat at home watching the world series. As dissapointed as she was that the Texas Rangers didn't make it, she still apprecited baseball. Fred was adjusting to California fairly well. Working as a science teacher in a public highschool could be difficult, very few students liked the class. But Fred did well with Willow Rosenberg, probablt the smartest student there. Fred didn't have much prospects for a boyfriend, but she liked the other teachers. Than the doorbell rang, most likely the pizza that Fred ordered. The guy gave Fred the pizza. When she gave him the money the guy unexpectedly pulled her outside. Fred was shocked, particularly as he suddenly had a disfigured face. She had heard the rumors, vampires, demons, but she assumed they were myths. Fred fought back, but this vampire was stronger. Fred believed if she could get her gun she'd be okay, but that was in the house and they were both outside. As they fought someone came to Fred's aid. This man was Angel. During their brief fight Angel drove a stake through the vampire's heart. Fred saw this vampire crumble into dust. She looked at Angel and thought "handsome man saved me from the monster."
