Chapter 13: Temporary Farewell

Note: "MH: This is when we say goodbye for a few months."

Mario: "This is the last story of the boring era. I'm sorry, but during the heyday, everything from 1999-2001 meh."

Link: "Thanks god for Melee."

The Smashers are having a typical day: fighting as usual.

They were split in four team:

1st team: Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, and Donkey Kong (our main heroes) Mushroom Kingdom

2nd team: Link and Fox (those two other heroes) Hyrule Castle

3rd team: Samus and Captain Falcon (bounty hunters) Zebus (Samus' homeplanet)

4th team: Pikachu, Jigglpyuff, Kirby, and Ness (youngest smashers) Saffron City

After it was over, the winners were Mario, Fox, Samus, and Kirby in each of the teams.

Then the Smashers said to each other "good game" as they walk to the living room, which Master Hand is there.

"Hello, Smashers. Do you know why I'm here in the living room?" he asks.

"Because you are about to give us something important, right?" said Link.

"Yep; today is the last day of the Smash Bros. series," said Master Hand.

"Really? For keeps?" asked Kirby.

"You heard right."

The Smashers start panicking over this situation by asking.

Link: "Oh crud, I ever did anything here!"

Mario: "What the hell are we gonna do now?"

Kirby: "This can't be happening!"

Fox: "I don't want my old life back!"

The others all yelled "No!"

"Relax, folks," Master Hand calmed them down. "It's just a temporary farewell. No need to get worked up."

"Thanks goodness. I want to explore more of this city," said CFalcon.

"Same here. I really loved being in Smash City. Way better than home," said Ness.

"Are we coming back?" asked Luigi.

"Yes, since Saukai announced Super Smash Bros. Melee. We are coming back on the day it releases on GameCube," replied MH.

The Smashers sighed in relief while clapping.

Then Link asked: "Are we gonna have dinner tonight?"

"Sadly, no. You all are going back to your hometown and eat dinner," MH replies.

"But where is the airport? I forgot the location," said CFalcon.

"Smash City Airport is at the north side of the city," said Master Hand. "But before you leave, let's just pack our bags."

They all do so and then they went to the airport. They are having their last interactions in a while.

"Well, folks, it's nice knowing you. See you in several months," said Master Hand, as he gave the Smashers a temporary farewell and walked off.

As he did, the Smashers prepare to say goodbye for a few months.

"Well, this is it. You guys have interested me and I love being part of this program," said Mario.

"Same here; if I wasn't, I would been so damn annoyed and jealous," Luigi stated.

Donkey Kong and Yoshi both said "good bye" to the other Smashers.

"See you guys later. I can't wait for Melee to come already," said Link.

"It looks better than the first game for sure," said Kirby. "I saw the previews."

"Don't spoil it to us," said Fox. "But yeah, see you all when Melee gets released."

The others said most of the same thing.

And there they took off in different flight:

Mario, Luigi, DK, and Yoshi: Mushroom Kingdom

Link: Hyrule

Kirby: Pop Star

Fox: Corneria

Pikachu and Jigglypuff: Kanto

Samus: Zebas

CFalcon: Mute City

Ness: Onett

Epilogue

Mario, Luigi, DK, and Yoshi all return to the Mushroom Kingdom. The latter two are staying there rather than their home place. For the next 4 months, they just hang out with each other. In the meantime, Luigi actually win himself his very own mansion on Halloween (which is the day after his and Mario's BDay).

Link went back to Hyrule where he stop Ganondorf for the umpteenth time. Zelda was indeed captured while Link was M.I.A. in Hyrule.

Kirby returns to his home planet only to discover that is a nightmare. King DDD and Meta Knight had already took over.

Fox returns to his home place only to discover that his father had died. Wait, that was in 1999 when Star Fox 64 was made. Anyway, he reunited with Falco, Slippy, and Peppy.

Pikachu and Jigglypuff went back to their home region: Kanto with the other original 149 Pokemon.

Samus returns to her home planet. The bad news: her arch enemy Ridley had destroyed the place. Bad luck for her.

CFalcon went back to Mute City and return to the race track. He never felt so alive.

Ness returns to his hometown in a Texas village, Onett. The place is surprisingly safe since no one had attacked it.

This is what the Smashers did for four months until Super Smash Bros. Melee got released. Luigi had his worst nightmare ever during the break because you know what happened throughout his spooky game.

Author Notes: Sorry that I had to rush the story. It's because I want to get this through with so that I can get to write the Melee era from late 2001-2007. A long era, which means four seasons (one season is 13 stories; the other three are 26 stories) and then eventually the first years of Brawl (March 2008-May 2009). Either way, what a waste of time the first 13 classic story was. It took me a year and half and then it already done. Without any further ado, the rest of the notes from the Smashers:

Link: "Ugh, finally! We're done with the first SSB game era."

Mario: "Master Hand, I can't wait for you to get the Melee tapes."

Kirby: "(sighs) About time. The Melee years were awesome."

Yoshi: "Can't wait to watch it."

Fox: "(applaudes) Congrats, we made it through the end of the first video game era. I'm excited to see the Melee tapes."

Master Hand: "Let's all take a break looking back to the heydays, shall we?"

The Smashers nodded.

That concludes this season. Now we move to another story: Super Smash Bros Nostalgia Seasons 2-5.

Yes, the Smashers DO have tapes during their heydays even from 4-7 years ago. That's the whole point of this series.
