Chapter 127
Sheila was trying to organize the boycott of halloween. It wasn't easy, some of her group's own members were using halloween to ditribute their own religious or health literature. But vice-principal Snyder allowed them to distribute anti-halloween literature at the school. Moo was branching out, they were endorsing Patricia Turner's opponent. If he won MOO would have better recognition. Revelations about Caleb and Sarah destroying the gas distribution center hurt their credibility. Their group's membership dwindled somewhat after that. There were some new members, likely a few of them were police informants. But Sheila Rosenberg's aggressive campaign helped keep this group alive. Sheila worried about her daughter, Willow played that game "the gorgostone" behind Sheila's back. And Willow might be involved in a homosexual relationship with Tara. whom Sheila suspected of being a wiccan. Sheila's father-in-law David worried about Sheila. But Sheila felt the work was too important, now was not the time to go soft.
