Episode 14: Let the Melee Begin!
(Author Note): I had stopped doing stories for the new games because there were so many characters to write in a story so instead, I'm making throwback stories, hence the title "Super Smash Bros Flashback." For the 15th anniversary, I'm gonna be writing the Melee era.
Super Smash Bros Flashback (Season 1B): First Year of Melee
Chapter/Episode (I prefer the latter) 14: Let's the Melee Begin!
December 3, 2001...it was time. For the original 12 Smashers to meet new people. They met 12 new Smashers. It is now a total of 24 smashers. They and Master Hand greeted them.
"Hey guys," said Master Hand. "Welcome to your new home
"Hi," said the 14 new smashers.
They greeted each other expect for the one they already know, like Mario/Luigi-Peach and Bowser.
"I'm surprised to see you, Bowser," said Mario.
"Why? You know I'll be in it?" asked Bowser.
"Dude, yeah. We predicted that a while back." said Luigi.
"Nice to see you boys again. I heard there's another princess," said Peach.
"Yeah, let's go meet her," said Mario.
"Hey, guys. You here to meet Zelda," said Link.
"Yep. Nice to meet you. Who are those other guys?" asked Mario.
'My enemy Ganondorf and my younger version, whom we act like brothers," said Link.
"You guys do look alive," said Luigi.
"(sighs) I know. I always get that crap," said Link.
"Hey Zelda. My name is Peach," said Peach.
"Oh, hi Peach. Nice to meet you," said Zelda.
"Falco, how ya been, man?" asked Fox.
"It was good. Glad to see ya," said Falco.
"How your co-workers?" asked Fox.
"They're doing fine," said Falco.
"Pika pika (Hey Pichu!)" Pikachu greeted ash he saw his younger pre-evolution form of him.
"Chu chu! (Hey Pikachu!)"
"Hello, bastards. Miss me?" said Mewtwo, who suddenly appeared.
"No get away!" said Pichu.
"Hey everyone! I'm Mr. Game and Watch." the flat figure said.
"Hi risk and flunk," the other smashers said in unison, not caring about G&W.
"Come on, guys. I'm your friend," said G&W.
"No forget it. You were a disaster, OK?" said Mario.
"And you almost destroyed Nintendo." said Luigi.
"That's really rude for you guys. I'll make it up for you," said GaW.
"We'll see, man. But we're still not happy at you," said Link.
"Wow, you guys are kids too?" asked Ness.
"Yep, we're the Ice Climbers," said the blue parka boy. "Popo's the name."
"And I'm Nana. We're new here," said the pink parka boy.
"I never heard of you, but you look like you should be new friends for me," said Ness.
"Alright, people. Anyone done with the greetings?" asked MH.
"Yes!" the Smashers replied.
"Good. Newcomers, sign in so you be part of it. The original 12, wait and we'll go to our place."
"Today's awesome so far," said Luigi.
"Yeah, we met like 12 more," said Kirby.
"I wonder if there's more," said Link.
"I think that's all, but we have to check just in case there's more," said Mario.
Later, the Smashers are at the Smash Mansion.
"Newcomers, this is your home," said MH. "This is also where you battle."
"Wow, that's a bad-ass place!" said Falco.
"Can we have a melee right now?" asked Ganondorf.
"Uh, sure, but make sure you break anything, OK?" said MH. They nodded. "Alright, then, let's the melee begins!"
The first melee was Zelda, Peach, Bowser, and Ganondorf.
"Good luck, girls! Don't lose!" said Link.
The princesses try their best at attacking Bowser and Ganondorf. It was somewhat better than expected but the two bad guys are winning.
"Peach! Don't let Bowser beat you for like the hundred time! Use your side move!" said Mario.
"OK, Mario," said Peach. "Hey, Bowser, want a piece of mine? (uses Peach Bomber) Too late, cause you didn't say anything!"
The attack knocked out Bowser in the match while Zelda is still battling Ganondorf.
"And this is payback for doing the same thing!" she said, using her standard B move.
Ganondorf cried in pain. "You got me, Zelda."
"Wow! Peach, you're awesome!" said Yoshi. "I didn't know you and the other princess can fight!"
"That was a hell of a fight," said DK.
"Thanks, boys. I trained enough to be strong," said Peach.
"OK, who's next?" asked MH.
Falco, The Ice Climbers, and Dr. Mario raised their hands.
As they entered the ring, Fox, Ness, and Luigi told them "good luck!"
Falco vs. Dr. Mario and the Ice Climbers themselves.
"This is gonna an awkward battle," said Samus.
"Yeah, why the Ice Climbers against themselves?" asked Ness.
"Don't complain, just enjoy the fight," Capt Falcon said.
Falco and Dr. Mario (if you notice the real Mario isn't even here; proof that Dr. is Mario in a doctor outfit) are having a simple brawl. They spam their standard B move which bore the audience.
"Come on, guys, use a better move," said Link.
"Don't just sit there," said Luigi.
"Boys, shut up!" said Peach.
"Alright, alright, we heard you!" said Falco as he progressively get stronger and uses Reflector.
Dr. Mario uses his Megavirus move only to be reflected.
"Ah! You think you can reflect a medicine Well, try this!" said Dr. Mario, using his white cape.
"Haha, your move sucks!" said Falco.
"Grr, that's it. Time to finish this," said Dr. Mario as he becomes a control freak which causes Falco to be Ko'ed.
"Dr. Mario, you're my hero!" said Peach.
"Thanks Peach. Now if you excuse me," said Dr. Mario as he ran off.
"Now, let's see what the Ice Climbers are doing," said the Master Hand.
"TURDS! They ain't doing anything!" yelled Bowser.
"Yeah! I want a refund!" yelled Ganondorf.
"Alright, alright, bad guys, hold your horses. Kids, why aren't you fighting?" asked MH.
"We're brothers," said Popo. "We can't be fighting."
"It's worse than incest," said Nana.
"(sighs) Fine, if you two don't want to fight, that's alright. But you better prove you are good Smashers," said MH.
"Well, Master Hand, we got one more team left. Who are they?" asked Zelda.
"It's gonna be Pokemon battle! No, damn, I meant, Pichu and Young Link vs. G&W and Mewtwo," said MH.
"Wow, Pichu and YL, you guys are gonna lose," said Mewtwo.
"Hey, shut up!" said YLink.
"Pichu pichu! (We'll show you who's better!)" said Pichu.
"Alright, let's have a melee (for the last time today)," boomed MH.
This is no ordinary melee. It was different from the others. Two youngest Smashers versus two bad guys.
"I WANT GAME AND WATCH TO BE KNOCKED OUT FIRST!" yelled Link.
"HE ALMOST RUINED NINTENDO!" yelled Mario.
Zelda and Peach held them back as they kept screaming at the 2D figure.
As the melee continues, the youngest smashers are show struggling but eventually beating Mewtwo and Mr. Game and Watch.
"Yeah! Way to go, kids!" said Link.
The others clapped.
"Wow, you guys defeated them. Awesome!" said Kirby.
"Thanks, Mewtwo was getting me mad," said YLink.
"This battle is not over! I'm gonna battle you again with revenge!" said Mewtwo.
"Eh, I'm out," said Mr. Game and Watch.
"Well, today had been superb," said Master Hand. "What had you guys think of Smash Bros.?"
The newcomer basically replied the same answer "Great."
"I heard there's two more Smashers for this second game," said Master Hand. "They are coming tomorrow, so be sure wake up early."
The Smashers said "OK!"

Master Hand: Those two other Smashers are Marth and Roy. They didn't came the day it was released. They first show the day after that.
