Hi guys, I think there might have been a slight issue with the last chapter, so I'm going to repost it. Secondly, I'm thinking about where this story is going, and wondering do people want more rebellious Jamie? Or would they rather him mature? Let me know via PM or through a review. Frank sat with his family in the ICU. When he had got the call that his youngest was in hospital with alcohol poising he couldn't believe it. Not Jamie, yes he did occasionally sneak out and go to parties, Frank knew that even if Jamie didn't think he did. But he's a good kid, great grades and a talented sports man.

Now here he was, sat in the hospital at 1am. His wife sobbing next to him, wondering whether her baby boy would make it through. His two sons pacing around the room and his daughter sitting silently opposite.

Frank stood up when he saw the doctor walking over. The doctor was reasonably young with dark hair but bright blue eyes.

"Family of Jamie Reagan?" The doctor looks at Frank who nods.

"I'm Doctor Kenneth, I'm treating your son, Jamie was in quite bad shape but he's now awake and responsive, we're going to keep him in overnight but he should be okay for release tomorrow"

"Can we see him?" Danny buts in, moving next to his father.

"Yes but no more than 3 at a time" Doctor Kenneth states before walking off to see another patient.

"Your mother and I will go first, then you three can see him, but go easy on him, he's very ill and now is not the time for lectures" Frank explains to his children before leading his wife to their sons room.

"Jamie, oh sweetie, how are you feeling?" Mary asks bending over her son and placing a kiss on his forehead

"I'm alright, awful headache but except that I'm fine" Jamie smiles slightly as his mother before turning to his father "Hey dad"

"Hi son, we're all very glad you're okay" Frank smiles down at him

"How angry is Danny?" Jamie asks knowing his brother

"Danny is angry, Joe is angry and Erin is upset, but they're all just glad you're okay"

"Maybe I'll wait until tomorrow to see them then" Jamie smirks but he meant it

"Sorry son, don't think that's an option, they're all waiting to come in and see you"

"Well then I guess I'll get it over and done with"

"I love you hunny" Mary smiles before kissing her son on the cheek

"I love you too ma" Jamie smiles back

"I love you son"

"I love you too dad" Jamie watches his parents leave the room, to be replaced by his three siblings.

Danny is the first one over to him "How are ya feeling kid?"

"Not too bad"

"I hope you realise as soon as you're better, I am going to kick your ass" Danny glares at his baby brother

"I did realise that" Jamie smirks

"You've been an idiot kid, too many times now, and you have got to learn"

"Danny, I am really sorry"

"Sorry isn't good enough Jamie, you have to prove it"

"I will prove it"

"Good" Danny ruffles his brother's hair "I love you kid, don't forget that"

"I love you too Danny"

"Jamie, how are you feeling?" Erin moves closer to his brother, gripping his hand and placing a kiss on his cheek

"I'm alright" Jamie smiles

"I couldn't believe it when I heard, I hope you learnt your lesson but I'm- we're all so glad you're okay"

"I definitely have, I don't think I'll ever drink again"

"You better not" Joe glares standing next to his brother "Do you realise how close you were to dying Jamie? After what you said last time, I thought I could trust you, but I can't, you proved to me you're still a stupid kid"

"Joe leave him alone" Erin glares at her younger brother

"No Erin, Ma and Dad aren't going to say anything, and neither are you two, so I'm going to have to. If we don't it will happen again but next time he might not make it"

"Joe, I know I broke your trust, but you have to trust me now. I made some stupid mistakes but I won't repeat them"

"I wish I could believe you Jamie, but as soon as you're out of here, I swear if I ever, I mean ever catch you with a drink in your hand and you're not 21 I will not only kill you but I will arrest you"

"I know, that won't happen Joe"

"Only time will tell" Joe looks at his brother before bending down and hugging him tightly "But I'm so glad you're alright, I couldn't live if you weren't"
