Episode 15: Marth and Roy
Summary: Master Hand adds two more Smashers who are very unique. (Rated T/TV-PG-LV)
Master Hand: Hey, Smashers, who remember the day when Marth and Roy came?
Smashers: (Silence)
Master Hand: Here's a story to refresh you memories.
It was December 10, 2001, a week after the melee era had started.
"So, Smashers, like I said yesterday, there will be two more new Smashers," said Master Hand.
"Wonder who's gonna be?" asked Mario.
"Let's find out, Mario," said MH. Then, a bus came and it was two swordsmen. "Ah, there they are. Your guys names?"
"Marth," said the Japanese accented swordsmen who has feminine blue hair.
"Roy," said the redheaded swordsmen, also with a slight Japanese accent.
"You guys don't look or sound familiar," said MH, noticing, "Where are you guys from, anyway?"
"We're both from Japan," replied Marth.
"Apparently, Nintendo called and even though this country hasn't released our games yet, they wanted to add us for Smash Bros," said Roy.
"Wow, that's very interesting why you're here," said Link.
"You guys sound cool," said Kirby.
"Since you're Japanese, you're the only one that isn't Christians? Most of us are," said Mario, wondering.
"Well, Nana and I are Jewish, if you all didn't know that," said Popo. He and Nana give themselves high five and say "Yo!"
"I'm a Buddhist," said Bowser.
"Hey, very cool. That's our religions," said Roy.
"So, you guys want a conversion or you're fine?" asked Mario.
"We're fine being Buddhists although I love to go to your religious place," said Marth.
"Alright, you guys are just gonna sign that you're now a member of Super Smash Bros." said MH.
The Japanese swordsmen do so.
"MH, tell them to have a melee," said Fox. "It's a perfect opportunity to see if they're good enough to be in it."
MH shakes his head yes and announced the melee.
"Ready, Marth...Roy? Go!"
Marth and Roy both start their battle and to the smashers' surprise, they are clones to each other.
"Wow, you guys fight alive. Aren't you brothers or something?" asked a curious Link.
Roy laughs "No, we're not, we're friends. Recently friends."
"How did you became friends?" asked Capt Falcon.
"Well, you may not know this, but we both signed up to be for Melee. We were both approved but other eight wannabes were just denied. Basically, that's it," replied Marth.
"Very interesting. Marth, Roy, you can go put your stuffs to your new room if you want," said MH.
"Sure, where's our rooms?" asked Roy.
"Dead end," replied MH.
As the two walked to their new rooms, the Smashers have a discussion about Marth and Roy.
"So what do you all think of these swordsmen from Japan?" asked Link.
"Personality I think they're awesome," said Falco.
"Yeah, I think they might to better than you," said YL as Link grunts.
"Don't listen to him, Link. I think Roy is the cooler one cause he's a redhead. Redheads are cool," said Luigi.
"Roy will be grateful for that. For me, Marth's cooler cause he looks like a girl," said Capt Falcon.
"You kidding me, right?" asked Samus.
"Ugh, Falcon, don't even think about that. Marth doesn't really look feminine," said Fox.
"Yeah, don't be a bastard," said Donkey kong.
"Yeah, I think they're both cool and all, but Marth is better since he's more manly," said Zelda.
"Same here," said Peach.
"Well, I still think Marth's a girl," said Capt Falcon.
"Fool, what did you just called me?" asked Marth, overhearing.
"I think you're nice," said Falcon.
"No, the other part."
"(gasps) He knows, he knows!" said Luigi.
"Just relax, man," said CF (to Luigi). "Yes, Marth, I was calling you a girl."
"Why?" Marth asks.
"Cause you have blue hair, a headband, and all," replied CF.
"Dude, that's just dumb. Are you declaring me for a battle?" asked Marth.
"You're damn right I am," said Capt. Falcon.
"Fine, then I'm just gonna ask Roy to join me in," said Marth.
"Coming, Marth. Join me what?" asked Roy.
"A melee, this guy wants a melee with us," said Marth.
"If you wish, my good sir," said Roy, talking like a Japanese teacher.
"OK, that's weird, but let's get on with it," said CF.
A melee between Marth and Roy versus Capt Falcon had begun.
"Dude, what are you doing?" asked Mario.
"I'm just having a simple battle," said CF. "Do you even have to ask that?"
"Well, yeah," said Mario. "But Link is kind of jealous."
"Capt Falcon, I wanted to be on a battle with these two," said Link. "cause they're just like me."
"Well, too bad, man, I'm battling them and you'll see who awesome."
"Oh, boy, not his ego again," said Samus.
"You're telling me," said Yoshi, agreeing with her.
"Just watch, alright?"
The Smashers simply watched a melee of Captain Falcon and the Fire emblem swordsmen. However, Falcon failed the whole fight as Marth and Roy dominate it.
"Capt Falcon, you lost, Wow," said a surprised Fox.
"You shouldn't be using Falcon Punch every time," said a snarky Samus.
Capt Falcon just groaned in pain.
"Well, you two had a hell of a battle," said Link. "You are Smash worthy."
"Let's go tell Master Hand," said Kirby.
Later, Master Hand is having a small announcement.
"Well, people, as you already knew, these two swordsmen aren't from here cause Japan had their games released first, right?"
"Yep, I'm not sure why Nintendo of America are taking too long releasing them," said Roy.
"Well, that's alright, cause Japan loves having you both here. Stay as long as you like," MH said.
"Wow, thank you," said Marth.
Everyone clapped for the praise.
"Well, you all are dismissed," said MH. "And I think that's it for the newcomers, am I right?"
"Yeah," replied Luigi.
"Marth and Roy, I can't wait to have some exciting adventures with you guys," said Link.
"Yep, let's find out on 2002, shall we?" asked Roy.
Link and Marth chuckled "Yeah."
