Episode 16: Mushroom Cruise

Summary: The Smashers go on a cruise. (202) (TV-PG)

At the Mushroom Kingdom, a Toad was playing in the rain until he spots a rainbow.

"(Gasps) My word, it's beautiful," said Toad. "I gotta go ask my friends."

As he went inside the castle (Peach's), he notifies them.

"Fellas, guess what I saw? It's a rainbow."

"Wow, that's amazing," said the green Toad.

"Don't believe it," said the yellow Toad.

"Oh, yeah? Well, look at it," said normal Toad.

"(Gasps) My, it's so amazing. I thought rainbows were ugly, but I was wrong," said the yellow Toad.

"Well, do you all know what a rainbow causes? A cruise!" said the normal Toad. "Let's go call Mario and his friends, shall we?"

Meanwhile, while the Smashers are having a typical time at the mansion, a phone rang.

"Mario, go get the phone," said Peach.

"Alright," Mario replied Peach's order as he answers the phone. "Hello, Smash Mansion."

"Mario, Mario, great news, man!" said the regular colored (red) Toad.

"What's the great news, dude?" asked Mario.

"We saw a beautiful rainbow! You know what this means? You and your buddies get to go on a cruise! Isn't that great? We hadn't seen one in like forever here!"

"Well, that's sweet of you," said Mario. "So, when's the cruise?"

"It's today! Tell your friends and pack your bags! We are going on a cruise that will be paradise! Hope to see you there!" Toad said as he hang up.

"Bro, who's on the phone?" asked Luigi.

"Luigi, Toad called me. He invited us to a cruise!" said an excited Mario.

"(gasps) No way, I love going on cruises!" said Kirby.

"They're full of paradises, they always keep me cool," said Roy.

"So, folks, what are you waiting for? Let's get the show on the road," said Mario.

The Smashers do so and as they left the mansion, they ask their neighbor to watch the place. They went on an airplane to the Mushroom Kingdom. A couple hours, they arrived.

"Welcome to the Mushroom Cruise! Glad to see you all here!" said the regular colored Toad.

"So Mario told me having occasional rainbows make you go on cruises?" asked Peach.

"Absolutely."

"We don't see those a lot so whenever that happens, expect a cruise," said blue toad.

"Without any further ado, let's go on a cruisin ship!" said (regular) Toad.

All the Smashers aboard the cruise. But the only one that weren't invited were the bad guys: Bowser, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo.

"Well, what's this? Mario and his friends get to go on a ship but not us?" asked Bowser.

"That is such baloney," said Ganondorf.

"We didn't do anything wrong!" said Mewtwo.

"Well, if they don't let us go on that cruise, then we're gonna follow them, but secretly," said Bowser.

"Nice copter," said Ganondorf.

"I love it, it's funny," said Mewtwo.

"That's what they all said, but thanks." Bowser said, flattered.

"Boy, this is relaxing. I needed a vacation," said Mr. Game and Watch.

"You said it, G and W," said Yoshi.

"You know this guy?" asked a Goomba.

"Well, yeah, he's was our enemy, but then grew to be friends," replied Yoshi. "He doesn't do much."

"Yeah, he's basically relaxing right now," said the Goomba.

Cut to Mr. G and W laying back and getting tan.

"Hey guys, I got a joke for you," said Marth.

"What it is?" asked Link.

"What is the name of a cruise ship?" Marth asks.

"I don't know," said Roy.

"The S.S. Smash. Get it" laughed Marth. "If only we has one."

"Yeah, but this ship is called the S.S. Mushroom," said Link.

"No poop jokes!" said Koopa.

"I wasn't making one!" said Marth.

"Alright, just checking," said the curious Koopa.

"So, Toads, are you saying that we're gonna have fun?" asked Luigi. "There's nothing fun right now."

"We are starting to announce the beginning of the ship cruise right now," said Toad. "So, hold your horses."

A Shy Guy, ironically, is brave enough to announce the beginning of the ship cruise.

"Alright, everybody, this is your shy guy captain speaking announcing that the cruise has officially began! Enjoy all the fun you have for the next 10 hours or so."

Everyone cheered.

"I am so grateful," said Luigi.

"Come on, Luigi, let's go on play Tug of War with Peach and Yoshi," said Mario.

"Ooh, I never heard of this," said Yoshi.

"Yoshi, this rope game is called Tug of War. The group who still hold the rope wins," Peach explained.

"Guys, wait for me!" said Donkey Kong.

"Ooh, sorry, DK," said Mario.

"Just watch us, OK?" asked Yoshi. DK replied "alright."

DK watches the game as Mario and Luigi win it.

"Aren't you guys too egoistical towards winning?" asked DK. "You always hog it."

"Well, losing sucks, especially to a bad guy," said Mario. "Speaking of bad guys, thank goodness we didn't invited those three worthless fools."

"Let's try something else," said Luigi. "Like swimming through the lake."

"That's crazy but sounds awesome," said Peach. "My though exactly," said Yoshi.

As the Mario and his main buddies go to the swimming on a lake, Link, Zelda, and the kids go to the rope.

"OK, kids, this is Tug of Rope. Whoever let go of the rope will be the winner, I guess," Zelda said, unsured about the rules.

"I don't wanna try it," said YLink.

"What?!" asked a stunned Link. "YL, you gotta try this? It's fun! I tried it once!"

"I don't feel like it," said YL, arms crossed.

"You have to, man!" said Ness. "The kids in my hometown also done it and I got no problems with it."

"Yeah, come on," said Popo. "Don't a jerk."

"Pretty please," said Nana, giving YL puppy eyes.

"Alright, fine," sighed YL.

Meanwhile, the trio of bad are sneaking it.

"Well, it looks like everyone's having fun, but not us!" said Ganondorf.

"Blast those lucky people! I'm so jealous!" said Mewtwo.

"Don't worry guys, in several hours, we're gonna crash the cruise right after we make our own party," Bowser said.

Montage: The Smashers are having fun at the cruising ship and does the trio of bad. Though it didn't felt like a party at all.

"This stinks, Bowser," said Mewtwo. "We're never gonna get to that party."

"What's next?" asked Ganondorf.

"Fellas, I just get myself an idea," said Bowser.

*Quick translation* to the trio in disguise.

"Are you sure this gonna work?" asked Mewtwo.

"It will, trust me," replied Bowser.

"Hey, who are those guys?" asked a suspicious Mario.

"Did we ever invited them?" asked DK.

"I don't think so," said Peach.

"Maybe it's the bad guys," said Luigi.

"Are you all Mario, Luigi, Yoshi, Peach, and Donkey Kong?" asked a disguised Ganondorf.

"Yes we are," replied Yoshi.

"Well, this also applies to all of you, so here's a question: Why did you all invite us?" asked the disguised Mewtwo.

"What are you talking about?" asked Mario.

"Ugh, fine, you wanna the truth?" asked Bowser in disguise. He, Mewtwo, and Ganondorf revealed their own self. "We're just pretending to be someone just to attend the ship."

"No way, Bowser, you guys always mess things up," said DK.

"(Sighs) If that what you wanted, then forget this," said Bowser.

The trio left. And soon, the part is cruise. The Smashers continue to enjoy their funtime.
