Chapter 132
A number of cops were out on halloween. Some were taking kids trick-or-treating in small groups, keeping the kids safe. Others roamed the streets, making their presence quietly known. Some members of MOO, were holding an anti-halloween prayer meeting. A girl named Violet was hosting a party/tribute to Caligo. Kate Lockley feared there could be violence, but the two groups avoided each other. There was even a running joke around town that real monsters and demons avoided halloween, dissapointed by how commercialized it had become. The police still kept an eye out for pedophiles looking for lost children, or restless teens ready to cause problems. But they saw none of these things on October 31st. Compared to some of what had happenned over the last two months, halloween was practically a night off, at least for the police.
