Episode 22: Icy Peak
Summary: The Smashers go to Alaska to visit the Ice Climbers' homeland.
The Smashers are on an airplane to Alaska.
Ness: So what are we suppose to be doing?
Nana: we're going to Alaska, silly.
Popo: Yeah, that's where we're born.
Mario: Ah, that's nice. But how are suppose to survive the weather? We didn't even bring jackets.
Popo: Not to worry, when we get down, we be asking our guardian for jackets.
Luigi: I got a bad feeling about this.
DKong: why, you hate cold places?
Luigi: Not that, I just hate Eskimos.
DKong: Pathetic reason to not go to Alaska.
Mario: Yeah you should be grateful that we're traveling. We need to get active.
Peach: I love the arctics. They're very fun places.
Bowser: I hope I don't freeze to death. My flame better not go out.
Nana: We can arrange that. This place will be ice-proof.
Ness: So it's an unique cold part? Sweet, I can't wait.
Link: So how long till we reach Alaska?
Popo: We should be landing in a couple hours.
Link: Thankfully these airplanes has these TV screens.
While they wait to land, most of the Smashers went asleep, while some enjoy the TV screen the airplane have.
2 hours later, Flight 10 (name of airplane) had landed at Alaska.
Ice Climbers: Here it is, folks. This is our home.
Some of the Smashers are asleep, but Mario and Link managed to wake them up as they shook them.
Both: WAKE UP WE'RE HERE!
Everyone else: Gasp, really? Finally, let's see what Alaska is like.
They are amazed that it looks like a real iceland.
Most of them: Wow...
Mario: Man, California sucks compared to this place.
Luigi: I wanna live here...
Link: At least it's not Texas; piece of crap state barely get snow.
Peach: I'm with you Mario. We only see snow, like ever.
Zelda: had Smash City ever even snowed before?
Nana: Alright, that's enough rambling.
Popo: Make yourselves at home.
Everyone went to a village, which happens to Ice Climbers' former home.
Ylink: Whoa, you guys used to live here?
Ness: I was excepting an igloo.
Ice Climbers: Sort of. Also, there's some creatures living here.
Polar Bear: Sup, people?
Topi: We're the hazards of this place. We keep Ice Climbers from residing here.
Ylink: You're the jerks that kicked Popo and Nana out of this place?
Ness: but it's cool here.
Polar Bear: You're calling us jerks? Why should we welcome you here?
Topi: Do you wanna pick a fight with us? HUH?!
Ylink: Uh, no...
Topi: DO YOU, DO YOU?!
Ness: OK OK We won't argue with you anymore!
As everyone got settled, they had a cup of coffee to feel warm.
Mario: You know, I'm kinda liking this place. I actually wanted move here. To get away from all of America's problems right now.
Luigi: Yeah, what he said. Our new president isn't going well.
Popo: I thought Clinton was better.
Nana: This guy is just the son of the president before him.
Ylink: I wanna live here already...like Ness said, it's literally the most coolest place to live.
Ness: Yeah, but let's not pick a fight with these guys again, ok?
Peach: Is there's snowball? I would love to have a snowball fight.
Zelda: Maybe. Let's check.
CFalcon: (Throws a snowball) Aha! Found them first! The moment I knew this was a snowy place I know there were going to be some snowballs!
Samus: Ugh...
DKong: Me! Me! I want to get hit!
Kids: We know what we're next...
As they're done drinking a cup of coffee, the Smashers decided to have a snowball fight.
Mario: Got you, Luigi!
Luigi: Nice try, but what about this. I call it the Revenge Ball!
Mario: Got to admit, that was a good one.
Link: (throws snowball at Mario Bros) Got you both! I'm the best!
Bowser and Ganondorf both team up and made a bigger looking snowball which knock off Link and Mario Bros.
Link: WHO DID THAT? SHOW YOURSELF.
Bowser: Ha! Who's the best now?
Ganondorf:We shall be the king of snows!
This lasted for another hour.
Later on, they went to explore the whole place.
Some of them went camping with a fire, not knowing the ice was going to melt.
Smashers: Darn it...
Mario: Wait, what's that?
Luigi: It kinda look familiar.
Donkey Kong: Is it based on my game?
Ice Climbers: Duh...it's actually our game.
Ness: What does it have up there?
YLink: Bet it's a secret...
Most of them were right. It was some sort of DK-esque mountain.
Donkey Kong: I knew it was like my game. This is deja vu all over again.
Ice Climbers: Nintendo said that it wasn't on purpose when they made some of our games map like yours. I hope you're not upset about it.
Donkey Kong: (shrugs) i'm cool with it...I'll only sue if you're actually from a different company.
Peach: We're all all lazy then...
Zelda: At least Hyrule doesn't have a maze like this.
They all climb the mountain, Donkey Kong. They all suddenly jumped like Mario from the original Donkey Kong and progress quickly and before you know it, they reached the peak.
The Smashers except Popo and Nana pant from fatigue.
"Never again." Some of them said.
CFalcon: What's wrong? This is your thing? Well, then...get used to it!
Samus: Eh, I won't let you taunt them for being tired.
Bowser: Too much exercise...
Ganondorf: Yeah, I don't want to do that again...
Luigi: How long are the days here? Feels like it only last an hour.
Mario: yeah, it's kinda night time.
Popo: The weather here is cold all year long.
Nana: Even during summer, if you live here, you would enjoy it...
Most of the Smashers were unsure about living in a tundra.
CFalcon: How about a montage to figure if we can live here?
Popo: Sure.
A montage of the Smashers living in the Arctic for a week. At first, they seem to enjoy this weather. But now after a few days, they quickly grew tired of it. By the last time, they had enough.
Mario: It's official. Us Smashers cannot handle this any longer.
Luigi: You said it. I think some of us having frostbites.
Peach: Yeah, Popo and Nana, can we go back to California now?
Zelda: It really means a lot to us if we can enjoy the warm air again. How do people get to put up with this?
Popo: I guess, if it makes you feel better.
Nana: But worry, Antarctica has it worse. That one is freezing year round.
Ice Climbers; Bye everyone. Sorry, we can't live here forever. We got a life in Smash City. But visit us somebody over there, ok?
And so, the Smashers went back to their normal lives at Smash City with the warm California weather.
