Chapter 30 Treasure

The heroes entered a large room decorated with treasure and jewels everybody starred at the treasure room in amazement.
"Talk about being rich." Whistled Jake.
"No kidding." Said Finn as they made their way through the room.
They came across a bunch of gold statues that looked life like.
"Whoa man those three statues resemble Prismo, Time Master, and Cosmic Owl." Said Finn as he pointed at three statues by one of the walls. "They're so life like."
"You think these were stolen from a temple or something?" Asked Jake.
Before anyone could answer him there was the sound of someone clapping from above. Everybody looked up to see a elegant looking throne with Treasuro sitting in it starring down at the heroes.
"Oh I'm afraid those aren't statues there the real thing." Said Treasuro as he floated off his throne landing before the heroes.
"What do you mean?" Asked Finn.
"Those three fools tried to stop my master, but they failed! After they were defeated I turned them into solid gold statues!" Said Treasuro with a wicked grin.
"Hey I recognize you, your that creep that helped StarSinister rob the vault!" Said Jake.
"Guilty as charged! I am Treasuro the left hand man of Hexo. I must congratulate you heroes on making it this far, but I'm afraid your lucks run out. I'll beat you up and turn you into statues for Hexo." Said Treasuro as he flexed his fingers.
"Turn them back to normal you psycho!" Shouted Finn.
"Oh I could, but I won't. Can't have you and a bunch of freed prisoners running around." Said Treasuro.
"Fine then will make you!" Shouted Finn as he pulled out his sword and charged forward swinging.
Treasuro shot his right hand forward and grabbed Finn's sword. As soon as Finn's sword touched Treasuro's hand the sword turned into solid gold. Finn let out a gasp and jumped back dropping his sword to the ground.
"Like the little the little bling upgrade I gave your sword? Your next!" Said Treasuro as he leaped at Finn swinging his hands at Finn.
Finn dived backwards landing on his back to avoided the hands. Treasuro closed in on Finn with a twisted grin on his face.
"Get away from my bro!" Shouted Jake as got behind Treasuro and wrapped his arms around the villain.
Treasuro staggered back with Jake on his back trying to shake him off. Treasuro let out an angry snarl and leaped backwards slamming Jake into a wall. Jake groaned in pain as his grip loosened. Treasuro broke free and grabbed Jake with his hands. Jake shouted and tried to break free as his body started to turn to gold.
"Your going to make to make a nice little statue!" Laughed Treasuro as Jake's entire body turned to gold.
Treasuro dropped the statue body of Jake to the ground.
"Jake!" Cried Finn.
"You psycho! I'll kill you!" Roared Marceline as she stuck Treasuro in the side with her ax sending him flying into a wall.
Marceline flew forward swing her ax downwards at Treasuro, but the villain shot one hand catching the ax, while his other hand grabbed Marceline's arm. Marceline screamed as her ax and her arm turned to gold. Marceline quickly quickly shot her foot out kicking herself away from Treasuro. The villain staggered o his feet and closed in on Marceline.
"Get away from my daughter!" Roared Simon as he fired an ice blast knocking Treasuro back and freezing his hands.
Finn ran over to Marceline and dragged her to safety as Simon continued on with his attack. Treasuro let out an angry bellow and waved his arms. Several large chunks of gold rose up and flew towards Simon, before they could reach him a burst of fire zapped them and reduced them to melted puddles of gold. Flame Princess stood next to Simon ready to fight.
"Hey gold boy! I think it's time for you to get a hot foot!" Shouted Flame Princess as she hit Treasuro with a fireball knocking him back.
"Hey Flame Princess I have an idea. You attack first then me." Said Simon.
"Fine by me." Said Flame Princess as she fired another fireball and hit Treasuro.
Treasuro staggered back a few feet and then he charged at the two elemental warriors. Simon fire an ice blast and knocked Treasuro back a few feet. The villain screamed in agony as he felt he metal body freeze and become a little brittle, he tried to charge forward again, but Flame Princess knocked him back with a fireball. Treasuro screamed in agony as he felt his metal body melt a little bit. Simon and Flame Princess repeated the attack process several times. After several minutes Treasuro was looking terrible, half his body was melted and deformed, while his other half looked cold and brittled.
"This can't be how it...ends for me! There was...still so much treasure for me to collect!" Coughed Treasuro as he fell to his knees. "You...heroes are fools! If you lost to me...you would have been turned to statues and kept as trophies, but you just had to beat me! StarSinister and...Hexo will absolutely annihilate you from existence!" He laughed as his body crumbled to pieces.
As soon as Treasuro was dead everyone and everything he had turned to gold turned back to normal. Marceline flexed her arm as she and Finn picked up their weapons. Jake groan as he returned to normal.
"Man what happened?" He moaned.
"Man your back!" Cheered Finn as he gave Finn a great big bear hug.
The statues of Prismo, Time Master, and Cosmic Owl turned back to normal. The three god fell forward and laid on the floor groaning.
"You guys alright?" Asked Flame Princess.
"Were ok." Said Time Master.
"Man my brother was way stronger then the last time, we faced him." Said Prismo.
"I told you, only the heroes in the prophecy can stand against Hexo. We were not meant to to beat him." Said Time Master.
"But we still don't know if they are destined to defeat Hexo." Said Prismo.
"Whoa hold on guys tell us how you got here." Said Finn.
The gods told the heroes about their fight with Hexo and how they were defeated and turned into statues.
"Whoa that's crazy!" Said Jake.
"It appears your the only ones, who might be able to beat Hexo." Said Time Master.
"Looks that way." Said Simon.
"I don't know, my brother was able to defeat us, I don't think you guys will have much luck beating him either." Said Prismo.
"Man that whack quitter talk! We've managed to beat everything Hexo has thrown at us and were still here! We unlocked these cool new powers and we have the power of love and friendship on our side! Were going to go in and were going to stop Hexo and his evil plans once and for all!" Declared Finn.
Time Master pulled out a watch and looked at it.
"Well if were going to stop Hexo we better get a move on. The time curse I put on the Ultimate Destroyer will be wearing off real soon." Said Time Master.
"Alright lets get a move on." Said Finn as they all walked out of the room.
On the floor above StarSinister watched watched a TV that showed the heroes climb the stairs towards his area.
"It's time I destroyed these heroes once and for all." Said StarSinister as he prepared for battle.
