Chapter 32 Dark One

The heroes and gods entered a room far larger then any other room. On one side of the room there was a giant window that showed the Earth. In front of the mirror was a strange device that was floating in front of the window.
"That's Hexo's weapon the Ultimate Destroyer." Explained Time master.
"Speaking of my brother where is he?" Said Prismo.
"I'm right here dear brother." Boomed Hexo's voice as there was a bright flash of light.
In the center of the room there was a throne with Hexo sitting in it. The essence of The Lich circled Hexo as he stood up and faced the heroes.
"So it finally comes down to this. You great heroes of light facing me an omnipotent being of darkness. I know I should have seen it coming with the prophecy and all, but you still managed to surprise me. Nicely done." Said Hexo.
"Enough talk were going to stop you once and for all!" Declared Finn as he pulled his sword out.
"Oh I'm so scared! I'm just trembling in my darkness!" Laughed Hexo.
"Brother stop this madness now. The heroes are here now. They've beaten your minions. It's just you now. You can't win." Said Prismo.
"Oh dear foolish brother. There is still a chance for me to win this little battle." Said Hexo.
"What do you mean?" Asked Cosmic Owl.
"Oh I looked at the prophecy. It says that a group of five heroes is supposed to stand against me. It never said that they would defeat me. So you see there's still a good chance that I'll win." Explain Hexo.
"Well we've domed this far and beaten everything you've thrown at us. Were going to beat you and stop your plan." Said Finn.
"Oh I have no doubt you'll try, but first let me let you in on a little secret that I know a few of you are going to absolutely love ." Said Hexo.
"What secret?" Asked Simon.
"I'm the one who caused the Mushroom War aka World War three!" Exclaimed Hexo.
Everyone just starred at Hexo shocked. Hexo let out an insane laugh.
"It's true! You see I tried to destroy everything before using a black hole, but my goody good brother and his pals stopped me. So naturally I went back to scheming for my next big plan. I decided to cheat a little, so I went to the ancient library of the universe and took a little look at the book of prophecy. The book told me that I would create a weapon to accomplish my goals, but five heroes from Earth would stand against me. I wanted to destroy the Earth in one fowl swoop, but it was under the protection of Cosmic Owl and I didn't want to tangle with him and my brother agin just yet. So I snuck onto the planet and observed the humans. There was much tension between two powerful countries. One was the United States of America and it's allies and the other was Russia and it's allies. Using my powers I manipulated the emotions of the countries leaders. Filling them with fear, anger, and the desire to kill one another. One thing lead to another and pretty soon all the countries were nuking each other! It was beautiful! All those people screaming and dying was music to my ears. The planet was turned into a wasteland over night." Said Hexo with a twisted grin.
Everybody starred at Hexo with absolute disgust, but it was Simon, Finn, and Marceline, who had looks of utter hatred all over their faces.
"Your the...one responsible for all that death and carnage? Your the one who killed Betty?!" Snarled Simon.
"You...killed my mother and...messed up my childhood!" Snarled Marceline.
"You practically annihilated my specious!" Shouted Finn.
"Guilty as charged!" Laughed Hexo.
"You psychotic genocide loving freak! Do you know what you put the world through! Do you know what you put my daughter here through! She was a good kid! The sweetest kindest kid in the whole world and you put her through a living a hell! You took her mother away and you scarred her emotionally for life with you twisted plan! I took her in and raised her as my own as I was slowly loosing my sanity! She deserved better then that! You also took my wife away from me! Your twisted insane plan killed her. You harmed the two people I care about most in life! I will never forgive you! For their shake and for everyone else's I will destroy you!" Shouted Simon as he changed into his super form.
"You really are the most disgusting evil thing I've ever seen! Your just a psycho, who just wants to destroy everything for absolutely no reason! You care for nobody, but yourself! The most evil creatures in the Nighosphere would spit at you and call the an absolute beast! I lost everything I had during the Mushroom War because of you! I found a new father figure in Simon, but because of the havoc you caused with your plan, he was forced to put on the crown and fall deeper into madness! Now you plan on taking away everyone and everything I have again! I won't let!" This ends now!" Shouted Marceline as she entered her super form.
Simon and Marceline let out battle cries as they charged forward.
"Guys wait! You can't do this by yourselves! We have to work together!" Cried Finn as he, Jake, and Flame Princess changed into their super forms and chased after Simon and Marceline.
Simon and Marceline were to consumed by rage to listen to Finn. They were focused on Hexo, who just stood there grinning evilly.
"Isn't that sweet the father and the daughter want to kill me for all the pain I caused them. Fine by me it doesn't matter who dies first." Said Hexo.
Marceline swung her ax at Hexo, but he easily caught it with one hand and stopped it. Marceline gasped in shock as Hexo laughed and delivered a powerful kick to her chest sending her flying away into a wall. Simon let out an enraged snarl as he fired ice blast after ice blast at Hexo. Hexo moved like a shadow as he dodged the attacks getting close to Simon and grabbing his arms. Hexo delivered a headbutt to Simon's face knocking him to his knees. Hexo then delivered a powerful punch and sent Simon flying into the wall next to Marceline. Jake charged at Hexo swing a giant fist. Hexo dodged the fist by leaping into the air above Jake. Hexo made his fist even bigger the Jake's and slammed it right on top of smashing him into the ground creating a crater. Hexo lifted his fist up and returned it to normal size as Flame Princess flew in shooting fireballs at him. Hexo dodged the attack and fired a dark energy blast hitting Flame Princess in the chest and knocking her to the ground. Hexo landed on the ground as Finn charged forward swinging his sword at him. Hexo caught the blade between two fingers and snapped it in half. Finn dropped the sword and threw a punch at Hexo's face, but he easily caught it and started twisting it forcing Finn to his knees. Hexo then delivered several punches to Finn's face and chest before delivering a powerful uppercut to Finn sending him a few feet into the air before he crashed to the ground with a thud.
"Ha! That was easy. I must admit I thought these guys would actually be tougher, but it turns out they're not! It looks like the darkness wins this round!" Laughed Hexo as he turned to face Prismo, Time Master and Cosmic Owl.
The Prismo and Cosmic Owl looked at the defeated heroes with shock and sadness. Time Master didn't seemed to worried.
"The heroes are not yet defeated." He said.
Hexo waved his hands at the gods wrapping them in dark tendrils. The heroes just groaned as they tried to stand up.
"You know since we still have some time I'll tell you all more about what I'm responsible for. After the Mushroom War life was trying to emerge from the war. That would not do, so I managed to grab the spirits of a few thousand humans. I took out their hate and desire to wipe each other out. I formed that energy into a ball and threw it into a hole with one of the bomb's radioactive material. When the energy hit the radioactive material it startled bubbling and taking shape. It became The Litch. I sent The Litch on a destructive rampage, through the land. You all know the rest." Said Hexo as The Lich's essence circled around above his head.
"Your...really something. Just when I thought you couldn't be an worse, you go ahead and tell us another twisted thing you did." Said Finn as he staggered to his feet followed by the other heroes, he glanced at Simon and Marceline. "I can only imagine what you guys are feeling right now. What this guy did to you both was terrible, but you need to calm down. We have to work together to beat this guy."
"Your right Finn. We really lost our cool...there. Now were focused and ready to work as one." Said Simon.
"As long as I get to hit him really hard I'm good with that." Said Marceline.
"Alright lets take him down." Said Finn as he cracked his knuckles and charged towards Hexo swinging his fist.
"Ha! Your such a hypocrite! You tell your friends that you should all work together, but then you come at me alone! You must have a death wish or something!" Laughed Hexo as he dodged Finn's punches.
"Jokes on you! I'm just distracting you!" Said Finn with a mischievous smile.
Hexo looked at Finn confused. Finn threw another punch, Hexo tried to dodge it, but his legs wouldn't move, he glanced down and saw that his legs were covered in ice and frozen to the floor, he glanced to his side to see Simon grinning as his touched the floor soreading ice. While Hexo was distracted by this Finn delivered several powerful punches to Hexo's face followed by an uppercut that broke Hexo from the ice and sent him flying into the air. Jake became giant size and slept his hands together on Hexo. Hexo managed to stop Jake's giant hands with his own hands. Hexo was fixing to launch a counterattack, when all of a sudden Flame Princess flew in by Jake's head and hit Hexo with a fireball sending Hexo flying and spinning out of Jake's hands. As Hexo spun through the air Marceline appeared from behind both hands gripping her ax as she swung it with all her might hitting Hexo in the back and sending him crashing into the ground creating a crater. Hexo tried to pull himself up, but several ice spears fell from above impaling him all over. Hexo shouted in pain and anger as he tried to break free. Simon stood a few yards from Hexo as he gathered energy for a really big attack. A giant ball of ice appeared over Hexo and slammed down right on top of him!
"Take that you monster!" Shouted Simon.
"Whoa! Nice shot!" Said Jake.
"We got him!" Cheered Finn.
"Don't celebrate to soon. Hexo is a lot stronger then you think." Warned Prismo.
At that moment the giant ball of ice shattered to a million pieces! Hexo stood in the center of the crater yanking an ice spear out of his shoulder and crushing it. He looked at the heroes with a twisted grin on his face. Hexo had some large scars over his body, but he didn't seem to be to hurt.
"I must say that was quit a surprise. That actual hurt. I've underestimated you all. It looks like I'm going to have to get more serious in this fight. I'm thinking about cheating a little." Said Hexo.
"You coward!" Spat Finn.
"Oh don't worry I'm not going to use some dirty move to kill you or kick you out of my base. I'm just going to make you sleep for a little bit, until my Ultimate Destroyer is ready to destroy your planet. I wouldn't want you to miss the destruction of your world." Said Hexo before he raised his hands and shot a green gas out of them.
The heroes tried not to breath in the gas, but it was to late. One by one they all fell asleep. Hexo laughed as the essence of The Lich floated over Finn's head before going into it.
"Nighty night heroes!" Laughed Hexo.
