Alright. Prepare yourselves for another clubbing chapter! Drew will be singing! But what song does Paul have in mind? Will Gary and Ash agree with what song Paul has in mind? Let's find out!
Thank you to those of you who reviewed/favorited/followed or just plain read this story! I've lost a lot of readers due to late updates, so I'm grateful to those of you who are still sticking with me!
Disclaimer: You know, I wouldn't even want to own Pokemon. Because let's face it: I'm too lazy to do anything right, and then you would all hate me for ruining it. Though they seem to be doing a pretty good job at that without me. To those of you who played X and Y, didn't you totally love that you could change the look of your character? I wished for that as a child. You can all thank me for my magical wish. This disclaimer is very long. I rambled. Sorry. Oh, and I don't own the song lyrics in this chapter.

"Okay, so what song should we make Drew sing?" Gary asked. He had pulled Paul and Ash aside to discuss the topic, while Drew and the girls were dancing on the dance floor.
"I have an idea," said Paul monotonously.
"Whoa. Paul has an idea. That's a first," Gary said. "Okay, let's hear it."
Paul whispered his idea to Gary, who's eyes lit up with glee before he shared it with Ash.
"That's perfect! Wish I had thought of it myself!" Ash said.
"So we're all in agreement. Let's go fetch Drew," said Gary. The three boys walked over to Drew and dragged him towards the stage. Ash whispered the song choice to Corrine, the MC, and Gary informed Drew on what he would be singing. Drew turned red. But then his eyes grew determined. If he treated this like it was embarrassing, the guys would get a good laugh, but if he acted like he was just having fun... he might even be able to come off as cool. He would embrace this dare. He would make himself want to do it. Confidence conquers humiliation.

"There they go," May said.
"Who?" asked Leaf.
"The boys. They dared Drew to sing whatever song they wanted tonight."
"This out to be good."
All four girls stared expectantly at the stage. The purple haired girl from last time was once again acting as the MC, and she made the announcement of what song Drew would be singing. "Up next, we have Drew singing #SELFIE!"
"Oh no," all the girls muttered, except for Misty, who just busted out laughing. Drew walked onto the stage, a smirk on his face. He looked confident. May's heart fluttered a little. Then Drew began to sing, or rather speak, into the microphone.
When Jason was at the table
I kept on seeing him look at me while he was with that other girl
Do you think he was just doing that to make me jealous?
Because he was totally texting me all night last night
and I don't know if it's a booty call or not
So... like what do you think?
Did you think that girl was pretty?
How did that girl even get in here?
Do you see her?
She's so short and that dress is so tacky
Who wears Cheetah?
It's not even summer, why does the DJ keep on playing "Summertime Sadness"?
After we go to the bathroom, can we go smoke a cigarette?
I really need one
But first,
LET ME TAKE A SELFIE
The beat dropped and Drew pulled out his Pokegear. He ran out into the audience and started taking selfies with random people.
"This is so awesome! Dawn yelled. Drew is really working this song!"
"Yeah he is!" May agreed.
Paul, Ash, and Gary ran through the audience back to the girls.
"You know, it's kind of sad that Drew knows all the lyrics to this song," Gary said. "But I'm glad he does! This place is really alive now!"
It was true. Everyone in the club was on their feet dancing or taking selfies together.
"Let's take a selfie!" Leaf yelled, holding her Pokegear out and away from herself. Everyone crowded in, even Paul.
Drew ran back onto the stage because the next section of lyrics were coming.
Can you guys help me pick a filter?
I don't know if I should go with XX Pro or Valencia
I wanna look tan
What should my caption be?
I want it to be clever
How about "Livin' with my bit*ches , hash tag LIVE"
I only got 10 likes in the last 5 minutes
Do you think I should take it down?
LET ME TAKE ANOTHER SELFIE
Drew ran back out into the audience to take more selfies.
"Hey, look at May's face!" Dawn laughed as the girls looked at the selfie they had taken.
"Excuse me!" someone said rudely, shoving by them. Dawn turned to see a red haired girl huff past, a blue-haired girl right behind her.
"That was the girl with light blue hair who bumped into me last time we were here," she commented.
"And I've seen that red-haired girl," May said. "She was making out with some guy at the mall in front of everyone."
"Speaking of guys, where did ours go?" Leaf asked.
"Over there," pointed Dawn. The guys had gone back to the stage area. The girls started heading that way as Drew finished the song.
Wait, pause, Jason just liked my selfie
What a creep
Is that guy sleeping over there?
Yeah, the one next to the girl with no shoes on
That's so ratchet
That girl is such a fake model
She definitely bought all her Instagram followers
Who goes out on Mondays?
OK, let's go take some shots
Oh no, ugh I feel like I'm gonna throw up
Oh wait, nevermind I'm fine
Let's go dance
There's no vodka at this table
Do you know anyone else here?
Oh my god, Jason just texted me
Should I go home with him?
I guess I took a good selfie
LET ME TAKE A SELFIE
Drew bowed as the club roared with applause. The guys were all laughing and clapping up by the stage, giving each other high fives.
"That was Drew Hayden, folks!" Corrine announced into the microphone. "What a performance!" The girl's eyes sparkled as she looked at Drew. May suddenly felt a little jealous. Corrine clicked a button on her mike, and then walked over to where the guys were standing.
"You did really good!" she said to Drew as he walked off the stage. "Everyone loved it! You should perform here more often!"
"Thanks," said Drew. May thought she saw his eyes glitter with interest. But maybe she just imagined it.
"Hey Corrine! We want to sing next!" someone yelled. They all turned to see the rude red-haired girl and blue-haired girl from earlier. "We're going to sing together tonight. "
"Okay guys! We'll get you up there in a couple minutes. What's your song choice?"
"Party in the USA," the red-haired girl answered. Corrine went off to consult with the DJ. Gary was looking over the red-haired girl. She was wearing a short, silver spaghetti-strap dress and silver heels. The dress was extremely tight.
Leaf folded her arms across her chest. How could Gary so blatantly eye up a girl like that? It was disgusting. She couldn't believe that she had gone on a date with someone like that, even if she had technically been forced.
The girl with the blue hair dropped her clutch on the floor. She bent over to pick it up, giving all four guys an eye-full. Dawn opened her mouth wide at the display. She looked sideways at the guys to see how they were reacting. Ash's eyes were wide, not out of glee but out of shock. Misty put a hand in front of his eyes to keep him from staring. Drew hadn't even noticed the blue haired girl. He was still watching Corrine over in the corner. Gary had a grin on his face that spread from ear to ear. Leaf 's face was red and her teeth were gritted. Paul was the one who Dawn noticed the most though. His eyes were arched at the bottom in glee. This was the closest to happy she had ever seen him. And yet he had the nerve to constantly call her a sl*ut!
Corrine came back and got on the stage. "Up next will be Abby and Samantha singing Party in the USA!" she announced. Abby, the red-haired girl, smirked and turned, walking up the stage steps. Samantha raised her eyebrows up and down at Paul before turning to follow her.
As the song started, Leaf immediately grabbed Gary by his shirt and dragged him off. Ash blushed as Misty frowned at him. May walked away and Drew followed after her, not realizing that anything was wrong. And Paul walked past Dawn, bumping her a little as he did so.
From a few feet away, Dawn heard Corrine talking to herself. "Phase One accomplished," she said. "Nine O'clock and all is well."
Shock and anger coursed through Dawn's body. These girl's wanted to mess with the other's relationships. They were planning to steal the guys from Misty, May, and Leaf. But why?

"What the h*ell was that?" Leaf asked hotly "I knew you were perverted, but seriously?"
"Feeling a little jealous?" Gary asked with a smirk.
"More like embarrassed!" Leaf responded. "You make a total fool of yourself every time you do something like that!"
"If I'm such a fool, why do you keep flirting with me?!"
"I...I. I don't-" Leaf stuttered. She was at a loss for words. She wanted to deny that she had been flirting with him these past few weeks, but she couldn't. How could she? She'd dressed nice for him. She'd made music with him. She'd worn that bikini. She had run with him. Let him come into the hotel room when she was upset... But she didn't even like him.
"You're sending me mixed signals, Leaf. I like you. I can't tell if you like me too. All I know is that if you're going to keep insulting me all the time, I can do better. So why shouldn't I look at other girls? I'm not yours. Other girls are fair game. You can't tell me that I'm not allowed to do some looking."
Leaf's heart hurt. He liked her. But he wasn't willing to put up with her attitude. And he wasn't willing to play games. That was for the best anyways. It just made everything easier.
"I don't like you, Gary. You're a friend. A rival. And nothing more."
Gary's eyes shadowed over. "Okay then."

Could you believe that girl?" Ash asked.
"Yes. I know about fifty people just like her back home," Misty said.
"Thanks for covering my eyes, Misty. I know I'm a guy, and I'm supposed to be all excited at the sight of brea*sts, but... I'd just rather not look at a girl that way. It feels wrong."
Misty nodded. Ash was almost unbelievable. Who knew a guy existed who actually had integrity? If Rudy were here, he would have treated her like poison for covering his eyes. Actually, he would have broken up with her for wanting him to actually commit. Rudy was great like that. Such a joy to date. There really was no comparison between he and Ash. Ash won by miles. Thousands and thousands of miles.
"Ash..." Misty said, "you're one of the good ones."
Ash smiled. "So are you, Misty. Want to get some soda?"
"You bet."

"You okay?"
May swirled her soda with her straw. She was finding it hard to look at Drew. Of course she shouldn't have expected anything. They were friends. She was damaged. He had better options out there. He wouldn't even consider her as a potential girlfriend. It would be too weird.
"May?"
She looked up suddenly. She hadn't even heard him the first time.
"May, are you okay?" he repeated more slowly. She could see concern in his eyes. But it was the kind of concern a brother has for his sister. She had come over to the bar to get a soda after she walked away from him at the stage. She'd needed to get away.
"Yes," she sighed. "I'm fine."
"I know you're not," he answered. "We may not have known each other for very long yet, but I can tell when you're hurting. Are the bad memories getting to you?"
A small flame of irritation ignited in May's chest. Why did he assume that if she was feeling down, it was because of the ra*pe? Did that have to inevitably be her excuse for everything now? Couldn't she be upset over anything else?"
"Yes," she said tersely. He could believe whatever he wanted to believe. It was fine with her. She took a sip from her straw and prayed for the strength to get through the night.

"You're always following me," Paul grumbled. He was seated alone in the corner, arms folded and head tilted down.
"The others were all mad at each other after... you know." Dawn wanted to ask him why he didn't think the other girl was a sl*ut but he insisted that she was, but something seemed off about Paul right now.
"Would you please go away?" Paul asked rudely.
"I don't want to leave you all alone," said Dawn. "Especially right now. Is something wrong? You look a little scary."
"What's wrong is that I haven't been able to be alone this whole trip! I'm either with the guys or being tailed around by you! You want to do something kind and considerate for me? Leave me the h*ell alone!"
Dawn was taken aback. The look in Paul's eyes. Rage. She'd seen it very few times in her life. "Paul," she gasped, "Are you okay?"
"Clearly, I am not!" he spat.
"What happened?" Dawn asked. You were fine right before you left the stage area. Please, tell me what's wrong."
"Why would I tell you?" Paul laughed. "You're a goody two shoes. You haven't felt any real pain in your life. You're soft."
Dawn wanted to object, but the look in his eyes stopped her. His eyes were venomous. Distorted by rage and hate. At that moment, Dawn realized that he had seen something terrible in his lifetime. She just knew. Paul had experienced something so horrid that he was broken inside. Something that she could never understand. She could see his twisted soul through his eyes.
Slowly, Dawn backed away. She felt fear. He continued to glare at her, and she turned and walked away so that she wouldn't have to stare back. She couldn't. There was something eating away at Paul's heart and mind. Something evil. Some terrible pain that couldn't be erased. She steeled herself. She would not be scared by him. By the end of this vacation, she wanted to find out what had happened in Paul's past. She may not like him very much, but no one deserves to live with that kind of pain.
He wasn't just a jerk now. He was someone who desperately needed a friend. And that's what she would become.
But not tonight.
She walked away, smoothing her dress with her hands. She would leave him alone while he was like this. He would be normal again soon enough.

And there you have it. You finally get an update. Again, sorry for the long wait. Really sorry. I might be writing more now. Summer vacation and all that. Plus I'm having emotional problems. I just lost my best friend. Yes, the amazing guy I talked about earlier in this story. He decided to stop being amazing. He's gone. We stopped being friends. And I know it's for the best the way things have been lately, but it still hurts. Sorry, I shouldn't tell you guys all my problems like this.
Please review! It means a lot to me. But thank you even if you don't review. I'm just glad if you've read this far.
