Chapter 152
On Friday November 16th Riley and his friend Forrest were having lunch. Next week was thanksgiving, they all had a few days off to go and celebrate with their families. During this lunch they began talking about president-elect Wilkins, the policies he was planning for Sunnydale.
Riley: What do you think of increased military presence here?
Forrest: Might be a good move. I know stealth worked for seal team six, but maybe more troops in Sunnydale isn't such a bad idea. Ofcourse it'll mean more duty for us so enjoy thanksgiving with Sam.
Riley: I will. If the rumors about Sunnydale are true, might be neccessary. Gets me a little nervous though. What about you?
Forrest: Maybe a little. But we just do our job as best we can.
Riley: I fear death. But at least I know that if I die, I'll go to heaven. What about you?
Forrest: I like to think so. Ultimately I think my good deeds outweigh my bad.
Riley: Doesn't work that way Forrest. I'm saying this as your friend. I'd prefer neither of us die until we're in a retirement home, but we have no guarantee. I'm saved, I've accepter Jesus Christ as my personal savior. But you haven't. You're like a brother to me, I don't want to see you go to hell.
Forrest: I don't want that either. I know this born-again stuff works for you. But I like my way.
Riley: What if you're wrong?
Forrest: Than I'm screwed. Ofcourse is the muslims are right, you're screwed. If I'm right, it's good deeds that determine your fate. I realize you're just trying to help me so you're in good shape. Of course that's just my opinion. Hopefully, we'll both get up there, after we celebrate our 100th birthdays together.
