Chapter 158
As the lights went off at the Bronze a man went on stage and announced "Ladies and gentlemen, there is no cause for alarm. Actually, there is cause for alarm, it just won't do you any good." This man, Luke, made humself visible in the stage light. Luke's face seemed disfigured. But some knew what he was, a vampire. Xander, Willow, and Jessie quietly texted Buffy. They didn't know exactly what was going on, but they hoped Buffy could help. Other vampires were guarding the exits, preventing any huans from first man the vampires dragged up to the stage was Andrew Borba, the club's bouncer. Borba was strong, a bit frightening for a human. He fought back, ranted about demons from hell. Andrew Borba was a bit overly religious at times but usually didn't bother anyone. He fought against Luke, but Luke easily won and drained Borba. Noone had fought Luke and survived in over 150 years. As the civilians saw Luke drain this man's blood it became clear that, one by one, they were next. Unless the slayer arrived none of them were likely to ever leave this club alive.
