Chapter 16

A week and a half had past since they had arrived in London. Caroline still hadn't heard anything from her mother but Abby called Bonnie once and she said that Liz wasn't ready yet. They had all been searching the sites together and it surprised Caroline that Bonnie and Klaus could actually get along and have a conversation without a threat being added. It was their last day in London as they still had a kingdom to run back in New Orleans. They had just visited an art museum and they were now back at the hotel. Bonnie thought it was time that Kiara learned how to control objects in the air. They told her it would come in handy if she drops something and she could freeze it in the air. Of course what they really needed was for her to learn the spell so that if someone threw a stake at her she could stop it or she could eventually magnify her powers so that she could freeze a person completely. Bonnie was practising the spell with Kiara, while Caroline went into her room and began to pack.

Klaus followed Caroline into their room and could see that she was packing. She was folding one of her tops that she recently bought in London, when he snuck up behind her and wrapped his arms around her waist. She instantly relaxed against him when she felt soft kisses being placed along her neck. She put the top on the bed and placed her arms on top of his that were around her waist. She moaned as she felt him bite down on her collar bone but then said "Nik...we have to pack, we're leaving tomorrow".

"I'm sure New Orleans can last one more day without us".

He pushed the suitcase off the bed and then pushed her back gently, so she fell onto the bed. She said "do you know how long that took to pack?"

He slowly lied down on her and said "well it was in the way, my love" he started to kiss her and then he kissed her jaw line "or do you want me to stop". He kissed down the rest of her neck and bit in certain parts of her collar bone so that he got a moan out of her. He smirked as he made his way down to her cleavage to kiss and he wrapped an arm around her back so that both their waists were met. She could feel him and she wanted him "do you want me to stop?" he said teasingly and began to pull his hand away.

"Nik" she whispered before she wrapped her arms around his neck to pull him down into another kiss.

Bonnie and Kiara had been practising the same spell for two hours and they were seeing if Kiara could freeze a marble in the air when Bonnie dropped it. Of course they still hadn't had any success yet. Kiara just had another failed attempt and she was giving up "I can't do it. Can't we do another spell?"

"In order to do another spell you need to learn this one wisely" Bonnie's phone then rang and she said "and look it's your Uncle Stefan...hey, Stefan".

"Hey, Bonnie, how is everything?"

"Good, Kiara is here" she could see that Kiara was giving her a pleading look that she wanted to talk to her Uncle.

Bonnie handed the phone over to Kiara and she said "hello, Uncle Stefan".

"Hello, Kiara. How is my favourite niece?"

Kiara rolled her eyes as that was something her Auntie Rebekah would say "I'm okay but Auntie Bonnie is trying to teach me a really hard spell and I can't do it".

"Kiara, there's no such word as can't".

"But-"

"No buts. I believe in you, your whole Family believes in you. Believe in yourself and you can succeed".

Kiara smiled at her Uncle's words and said "I'll try".

"Great, now put your Auntie Bonnie back on".

"Love you".

"Love you too". When Bonnie got her phone back she saw Kiara concentrate on the marble every time she threw it and decided to go down the hallway to talk to Stefan in private.

Kiara was getting frustrated as she didn't succeed but then she threw the marble into the air and as she said the spell in her mind, it froze. She smiled and did a little jump and was about to call her Auntie Bonnie when she lost her concentration because someone knocked on the door. She knew that Chloe was coming to see them before they left, so she picked the marble up and walked towards the door. She answered the door to see three strangers and they were all looking at her weirdly "who are you?" the man said.

"Mummy said I'm not aloud to talk to strangers" Kiara said.

"Is your mummy here?" the woman with dark hair said.

Before Kiara could answer someone said "what have we told you about opening the door" she looked to see that it was her Auntie Bonnie.

Bonnie walked towards the door and Kiara said "I'm sorry Auntie Bonnie".

Bonnie moved Kiara away from the door slightly but when she saw who was stood there she was shocked. Liz had actually taken her advice and had come, along with her parents. Bonnie looked at Kiara and said "Kiara, please go in the other room".

"Auntie Bonnie-" Bonnie interrupted.

"Go now" Kiara grunted then walked into the living room.

Bonnie was looking at the three adults as Abby said "Auntie Bonnie? I think you have some explaining to do".

Bonnie laughed nervously and said "I'll be back in like one minuet".

Bonnie ran from the door to Caroline and Klaus' room. She knocked but didn't hear an answer or anything inside so she carefully opened the door with her magic as it was locked. She saw Klaus and Caroline wrapped in each others arms and clothes spread everywhere. Bonnie saw that Caroline top was close to the door so she picked it up and threw it at them. When it hit them they both opened their eyes and Caroline covered herself up. Klaus smirked at first but then was angry that Bonnie interrupted them sleeping.

Caroline said "Bonnie, what are you doing in here, get out".

"Trust me you want to get dressed and get out of bed. Our parents are here" Caroline stiffened and quickly glance to Klaus and he had a shocked expression "also, they saw Kiara so hurry up" Bonnie closed the door and could hear them using their vampire speed to get dressed.

Bonnie walked back towards the front door and could see that Liz and her parent's had already invited themselves in. They were in the living room and Kiara was levitating the marble from before while they were stood behind her. Abby said "good job" Kiara dropped the marble and jumped up from her place as she didn't know she was being watched. Kiara saw her Auntie Bonnie and used her tribrid speed to get to her. Kiara held onto Bonnie's arm as she didn't know who these people were.

Bonnie looked to see that her parents and Liz were watching them but then she glanced down to see that Kiara was worried. She kneeled down to Kiara's height and said "there're not going to hurt you".

Kiara glanced at Abby and said "she's a vampire. Daddy said I have to be careful around vampire's that aren't the ones in New Orleans".

Bonnie sighed and said "well she is a nice vampire, besides I wont let anyone hurt you and neither will your parents" Bonnie smiled and Kiara returned it.

"Where's mummy and daddy?"

"Here" a sweet voice said and they looked to see that it was Caroline.

Kiara moved away from Bonnie and ran to Caroline and Caroline picked her up. She swung her around slightly and finally rested her on her hip. Kiara said "mummy there are strangers here".

For the first time, Caroline looked away from her daughter, past Bonnie and her eyes locked with her mothers. As soon as her eyes caught her mothers, Liz looked away and shook her head slightly. Caroline knew that it was because of Kiara. She looked back to Kiara and said "there not strangers" Klaus then appeared at the side of her and placed a hand on her back "those two are Auntie Bonnie's parents and she's...she's my mother".
