Chapter 163
Angel returned to his apartment after stopping the Harvest. While a victory, this night also meant that Buffy no longer trusted Angel. She assumed he was evil, not that he could really blame her. Doyle should've warned Angel about the Harvest. His visions had helped them, but he couldn't control them. Doyle didn't know about this, and Angel hadn't been able to warn Buffy about Aristad. When Angel returned home Fred was there. She'd accepted him. When Angel saved Fred he'd merely happened upon a vampire attacking a human, his insticts took over and he saved her. Angel didn't know if things could even work out long term with a human. But for now at least Angel and Fred had each other.
