Chapter 19

After Klaus and Caroline walked out of Kiara's bedroom they leaned against the wall and sighed in relief that their daughter was okay. Klaus took Caroline's hand and squeezed it to comfort not only her but him. They both walked towards the kitchen where they could hear Bonnie and Chloe talking but when they walked in they were surprised to see Abby Bennett. Klaus sneered "what are you still doing here?"

Abby held her hands up as if to say she came in peace. After a moment she put her hands down and said "I have information that will change everything".

Caroline and Klaus gave her a weird look but then Bonnie said "listen to her. It's about Mystic Falls and it includes the harvest".

Klaus' interest peaked at the mention of the harvest "what do you know?"

Abby sighed then said "not so far from here there is a club for vampires. They take blood from hospitals and sell it there. Last night, a local vampire came in who just got back from America. He said that he went through Virginia and had heard about Mystic Falls and decided he wanted to see for himself what was going on. He made it out but he discovered that the thing with the werewolves is being caused by a powerful witch and she is also the one who is keeping the harvest open. No one actually knows what the harvest is, but by your reaction I think you know".

Klaus ran a hand through his hair and Bonnie said "the harvest is in New Orleans. It's an ancestral sacrifice that should have ended" Abby gasped as she remembered her studies as a witch and knew that when an ancestral sacrifice was started it had to be finished and she knew that it involved four children.

Klaus walked closer to her and said "take us to this club and on the way you can tell us everything you know" Abby nodded.

She was lying at the side of a lake on a picnic blanket, while her parents were sat next to each other and Caroline had her head on his chest. Klaus was kissing her neck and it made Caroline giggle and try to move away from him but then Kiara laughed and heard a voice that said "well isn't this nice".

Kiara jumped off the blanket and was worried who the voice belonged to as no one had got into her dreams before. She looked to see that her dream version of her parents had disappeared and stood near the trees were two men. They both had similar characteristic but Kiara didn't have time to look at them as she raised her hand and they both levitated in the air. Just a moment later a young boy came running out of the trees. He had dark hair that went to his shoulders and was in some kind of medieval clothing. The young boy looked up at the two men still in the air but before Kiara could raise her other hand he said "stop, stop, stop. We're not here to hurt you; we're here to help you".

She narrowed her eyes and said "help me? Why do I need help?" she looked at the two men and the young boy and she could feel like there was something familiar about them "who are you? Why do you look familiar?"

"We're family".

She released the two men from the air and then concentrated on their features. She gasped and said "you're my uncle Kol and Uncle Finn".

Kol smiled and said "well it's about time, Rebekah did tell you about us" Finn smirked.

She looked to the younger boy and he said "I'm Henrik, you should remember me, and I use to watch over you when you were little".

Kiara gasped as she remembered seeing him as a child but he always told her never to tell anyone but then one day he just disappeared. She remembered walking into her father's studio and finding a sketch book labelled family and as she looked through it she saw sketches of all of them. She knew they weren't lying about their identity. She gasped as realisation hit her "you're all dead, am I dead?"

She began to cry but then they all came up towards her and Finn said "don't cry little one. You are not dead we are just visiting you in your dreams".

"But how can you visit someone in a dream?" she then looked at Henrik "and you left me when I was little".

"I know and I am sorry" Henrik said "but someone prevented me from being visible to you".

"How could I see you before?"

Henrik smirked to his siblings but then said "you've been told about me, that I am not a vampire" she nodded "I am a warlock. Due to us being family we both share the same magic so I connected through that so that you could see me and you would never be alone".

Kiara took a few steps away from them and then glared at Finn "you tried to kill family".

Finn sighed and said "my remaining siblings pass on that of me, great. I made a mistake, Kiara. I thought that us being vampire was an abomination. That changed when you were born because you brought our family together, you changed Niklaus. I regret trying to kill my family but I intend to fix it by helping now".

Kol clapped him on the back and said "good brother. Now, Kiara, what have you been told about me?"

Kiara rolled her eyes and said "Auntie Rebekah said that you were foolish, unreliable, had a thing for witches but you were honourable to your family".

Kol smirked and said "only some of that is true" Finn and Henrik sent him a look and he finally said "fine it is all true".

Kiara giggled then said "you never answered, why you are in my dreams?"

They all casted worried looks to each other before Finn said "we need you to pass on a message to Niklaus. Tell him that" Finn took a few steps towards her before whispering in her ear the message.

When he pulled away she nodded then said "I can do that".
