chapter 170
When Buffy and Faith arrived at the cemetary they immediately looked for vampires. Buffy thought about this, two hot girls, cemetary, actually looking for vampires. What could possibly go right. Sure enough they soon found two vampires. These two guys seemed to be working together, though Buffy and Faith easily dusted them both. Then they were attacked by a female vampire, who fought more viciously than her two male friends combined. She kept yelling "Where is he." Neither Buffy nor Faith knew who "He" was. At any rate they dusted her too. Faith and Buffy didn't recognize any of these three, but believed they had been candidates to become the annointed one. Three down, two to go. Then a small child came running to them. This child, Colin, hugged Buffy for dear life.
Buffy: It's okay, you're safe now.
Colin: The monster, he tried to hurt me.
Faith: We'll protect you. Where is this monster?
Colin pointed to the masaleum. Buffy and Faith went there to find this monster, likely a vampire. Buffy held Colin's hand as they walked, promised him everything would be okay. When they got inside they found Andrew Borba, now a vampire. Borba wasn't taking his transformation well.
Borba: I served you Lord. Why have I been forsaken like this? Go away little girls.
Faith: Do you know what a vampire slayer is?
Borba: Vampire? Is that what I am now?
Buffy: Apparently.
Borba: No! I was rightous! I served God. And now I am damned.
Buffy: I don't know about that. That stuff is way above my pay grade.
Borba: I will not serve the devil. Destroy me now. Stop me from hurting that child.
Borba seemed sincere. He prepared himself to be staked. Faith drove her stake into Borba's chest and watched him turn into dust. Buffy looked around for Colin, but he was gone. Hopefully he would find his parents, although Buffy wasn't sure why parents would take their child to a cemetary at night. Maybe visiting a relative, but how could they lose their kid like that? And wasn't this place suppossed to be closed at night.
