Chapter 29

In the battle field, Esther was taking people down with a flick of her wrists and they all knew that they had to stop her but they had the werewolves to deal with. Klaus had just taken down a witch when he turned to see a witch, walking towards Caroline with a stake. Caroline couldn't see the attack as she was fighting a vampire in front of her and Klaus ran up to her, just as the witch went to strike. The witch was aiming for her heart in her back and Klaus stepped in the way. The stake went into Klaus' chest and the witch was shocked. Klaus smirked and then twisted her arm and then snapped her neck. Caroline noticed and she quickly took care of the vampire in front of her and turned around.

She placed her hand on the other side of Klaus' chest and pulled the stake out. He grunted in pain at first but then she said "are you okay?"

He nodded and then said "I'll heal".

They both glanced around and Caroline said "if we don't manage to take care of the werewolves, then all of this is for nothing. We won't win".

"We will" Klaus said as a vampire lunged for him and Klaus quickly ripped out his heart "we have to have faith" Klaus kissed her gently on the lips but then they heard a growl.

They both looked to see a werewolf and Caroline instantly recognised him "Tyler".

Klaus smirked and stood protectively in front of Caroline "turn back, mut. Fight like a man". Tyler growled one last time and then he turned back human. Thankfully he still had his clothes on and they knew that they had the necklace to thank for that. Klaus pushed Caroline back as soon as Tyler attacked but then Caroline had her own werewolf that she was confronted with.

Kiara began to walk away from Lucas and back towards the battle when he ran up behind her and grabbed the top of her arm "Kiara, don't, you'll get hurt".

"I have to. I can stop it".

She pulled her arm away from him "I don't want you to get hurt".

"I promise I won't" she then walked away from him and sat down on the grass, where she had a good view of the battle but was too close for Lucas' liking.

She closed her eyes and began to focus but then she heard Lucas shout "No".

She opened her eyes to see that Lucas was stood in front of her and there was a vampire stood in front of him. She then saw the dagger that was in Luca's chest and screamed "no" the vampire flew back and Lucas fell into her arms.

Lucas was stood a few steps away from her when he saw a vampire running towards them and he quickly stood in front of Kiara to protect her. As he saw the vampire fly off and him fall into Kiara's arms, he saw that she was crying.

As Kiara cried over his body, she took the dagger out and she said "I'm sorry. I said I would protect you, I'm sorry".

Lucas shook his head and said "stop the battle" his eyes then closed but Kiara could still hear his heart. She looked at his wound and a few tears fell onto it, before she placed a hand onto it. She was reciting a spell in her mind and she could feel that the bleeding was starting to stop.

Kiara took her hand off to the wound and focused back on the battle but didn't take Lucas head off of her lap. She took a few deep breaths and focused on the people she loved and then said as her eyes opened white "qua ratione detester, et luna non habeat proportionem naturae reparari" the spell was coming naturally to her and she knew that she had the spirits and Ayana to thank for that.

In the middle of the battle field, the earth began to shake and a large crack appeared. Everyone jumped away from the crack but it quickly opened up and as some of the looked down, they could see larva flowing at the bottom. Klaus and Caroline looked around and both their eyes caught their daughter and they saw what she was a doing. A second later, the werewolves began to back up and moan in pain and that's when they returned to their human form. They were all confused but then Rebekah ripped out a werewolf's heart and it stayed dead. They glanced to Esther to see that she was shocked also but everyone continued to fight. Klaus turned back to Tyler, while Caroline turned back to the werewolf she was fighting and it was Hayley.

Kiara smirked as she saw the werewolves change back and she could see that people were using the crack to their advantage by throwing people in. Kiara was breathing heavy due to the spell but she knew that she had to do one more. She had to destroy Esther. She could see that Esther was killing people and from the look on her face, she didn't even care. She said that her children were the monsters but she was the real monster that monsters were afraid of.

Kiara focused on Esther as she said "exprobravit nunc natura ipsa voluisti tibi terga" she paused for a moment as she struggled to breathe and felt like something was stuck in her throat "et disrumpam interiora iecoris eorum ossibus ossa pulverem pulvis erit anima ab huius mundi".

On the battle field, Esther began to struggle to breathe and red flash around the back of her eyes. Everyone paused when she collapsed to her knees and they all just stared with a mixture of fear and curiosity. Esther began to bleed blood from her eyes and after a few moments, she began to be sick with blood. Esther scrunched her hand up into the grass as she felt her body getting weaker and looked to the side to where Kiara was. Everyone followed her and saw the child on the floor saying the spell.

Kiara had said the spell three times and her nose began to bleed, due to the amount of power she had to use.

Klaus walked closer to Esther as she was taking her final breath and said "goodbye mother". As she took her final breath, she glared at him and tried to speak but nothing came out as her eyes closed for the last time.

The white eyes Kiara had, turned back to her natural blue ones and she smiled when she saw Esther collapse to the floor and couldn't hear her heartbeat. The battle went back and she could see that with Esther gone and the werewolves' necklaces not working, her side was winning. Kiara felt dizzy but she was awake long enough to see Caroline rip Hayley's heart out and Klaus break Tyler's right arm and having him rip his own heart out. She could see that some people began to flee the fight and she smiled before she was consumed by darkness and collapsed to the floor, next to Lucas.

IMPORTANT AN: I am thinking about changing the name of this story to 'my beautiful little girl'. If I do, I will change it before the next chapter but also give you a notice at the top of that so you know it's this story. Two more chapters left Please review
